In reference to my earlier post about enjoying the journey so far.
Finished 1st and 2nd tier and have to say i feel rather disapointed it’s cost my 47 spritwood planks and a whole load of other mats.
The 3rd tier involves me jumping around the world again, events, fractals, puzzles etc.

My two points are i could have gotten the precursor a whole lot cheaper on the tp, but hey i want to make the journey so i can take that on the chin.
The 3rd tier though events are bugged, not started, even worse the maps are just empty no one doing them.

It’s left a slightly sour taste in my mouth and that is a real shame, could be better i just feel a few tweaks are needed.

A guildie linked them in chat at weekend, think they were from a drop.
We had a few jokes about not seeing what he linked lol, didn’t think they were anything special he probably sold/salvaged them.
Will ask in guild later tonight where he got them.

I started making Meteorlogicus last night, i’m only on tier one but it only involves me visiting parts of the world and participating in events as such forth. I even had to go back to the hidden garden jp which i’ve not done in ages.
I have actually enjoyed the journey so far and look forward to carrying it on to the end.

One thing i noticed yesterday was the rate i get exotics back from the forge. I always throw in the rares and usually get exotic back every 3-4 tries. Yesterday i got 1 exo from 20’ish tries in the morning then later i got 0 from 25’ish goes.

If it makes you feel any better Kitty they stole my name for Trick or Treat bags lol.

Nor me or a single guildie has had a key drop since update.
I and a few guildies have had precursors since that time and it’s a joke now that pre’s are easier to get than keys.

Yep think Wanze is correct about character bound DR.
I usually spend a few hours now in silverwastes at the weekend, soon as the vinewrath doesnt drop rares i leave. I usually go queue at Tequatl and this takes over 30 minutes, go do part of my daily and go to LA.
After hour or so i go back to Silverwastes and it seems to have gotten better.
Another indicator in silverwastes is when normal mobs stop dropping rares and t6 mats.

and i guess you want a pneumatic drill for ore to^^

I use Tot in all my names so this makes it easier for players to recognise me.
Couple of other guildies do a similar thing with their names.
I find it fairly easy to remember my guildies alts but the odd time i do need to check, i could see this being a problem in a very large guild though

I don’t really have much to do with the RP community. One thing i will say it’s nice to see them in game on the odd occasion i have come across them.
I usually just go to walking pace say hello as i walk past and then be on my merry way.
I think best thing you can do Aguri is try find a RP guild ideally one that has time for new players to learn.

The PVE world is all grouped together now in the megaserver so it doesn’t matter what server you pick.
However for WvW it does matter, you may not be too interested in WvW at teh moment but later on in the game you may be so maybe wise idea not to pick one of the low tier servers.

Hi Fizzypetal, sorry to hear about you ill health hope things get better for you.
I’ve met some wonderful people to through GW2 and are now rl friends, had some really good laughs in this game to. It’s easy to get hung up on negative stuff in game i’ve done it myself but i think overall it’s a nice place to be.

The hat can now be applied as an armor skin.
I contacted support around a month ago as i had lost mine and they reinstated mine, hope you get yours sorted out.

I had a lot of gems from pre-HoT purchase and i used them all during sale.
Yes they were hits and misses, i really wanted the royal pass back but that didn’t happen.
So overall it was ok but could’ve been so much better

Was hoping for royal pass, but all in all i spent most of my gems from buying HoT in the sale and i’m happy with what i bought so far.

I listed the energiser and dawn for 10g and 15g less than minimum sell prices couple of weeks ago. Dawn sold within 2 minutes and energiser in 10 mins.
I personally never mess about with coppers even selling rares i just put it 1 silver less.

As an Asuran, I think it’s totally fun to hide under Charr or Norn characters.

Oh sometimes I like to play “leap frog” over Asuran’s when I see them just standing around doing nothing. And if there are 2 or 3 of them very close to each other then it gets REAL fun!

I only play asuras, but i always love to jump over fellow asurans, dogs, cats or any other object on my travels. I always move to the left or right if a large character stands on top of me, thought it was only me who it bothered lol.

I would love to run around with my asura wearing a matching onesie to my fuzzy hats <3

I bought the bag extention and the flame dye however i had no option to buy the shadow dye it just wasn’t there.

We had several new players from the free accounts join our guild over the weekend.

This was nice for our members to see a lot of new players but the best thing is they can chat in guild and our members were able to help them with all their questions.

Several are already commenting on wanting to upgrade to the game so i and my guild see this as a nice success.

I suggest any new players out there join a guild, get chatting to the members as they are a lot of wonderful and friendly guilds out there.

A good option is to make a party in looking for game function stating which achievement your after.
I often see people advertising this way to get people to help.
Goodluck in your achievement hunting have fun.

The number of ectos i have been getting has gotten so bad i have pretty much stoped salvaging rares,and thats after investing in a silver-fed salvage-o-matic specificly for salvaging rares.Is it possible that the salvage rate is manipulated to maintain the price of ectos? I have noticed in 2.7k hrs that when the price of ectos drops low then the number of ectos i get from a days salvaging will drop.

It’s interesting you mentioned the silver-o-matic as several players i know have stopped using it and gone back to mystic kits as the machines ecto return rate seemed to bad.

It can be up and down with salvaging rares.
My best is 24 from 8 and worst was around 0 from 12 or 13.
Average though i find is 1 from 1.
I only used to salvage armors, but the last couple of months i throw my rares into the forge unless they are staff/sword/daggers which i list on the tp.

I like to use mine above my wreath of co-operation. It’s a pain having to activate every time you jump maps.
An extra armor slot for these would be nice, or better still 2 armor slots for heads so you could wear a helm and say a pair of sunglasses.

45 minutes waiting at teq to get dc 1 minute before start now cant log back. not impressed with this kitten at all.

logged in this morning no problem. Guild member said several people from guild were at loading screen can cant get into game. I played fro 30 minutes got dc now cant log back in.

It only matters if you want to wvw together.
Now with megaserver you can all be on the same map for guild activities regardless of home server.

Weekend before last i threw in my rares from that day got The Energiser and Dawn in 5 goes.

I’ve had armors with strength from picking warriors box, however if i remember right the last time i got rabid amulet lol. End of the day though it’s random but as long as im getting nice items to salvage on warrior i will stick to that.

Even though i main a mesmer i pick warrior everytime in case i get armour with a strength rune to salvage.

Mine is in LA.
There is a picnic spot near where you use that teleport gun to get to the little pillar of rock in the inner harbour
Now and then i just sit on the picnic mat flying my kite <3

I also get the scratch from front left speaker.
One issue i have noticed now that if i’m in a big zerg some of the character models go to the basic looking version whereas that never used to happen.

I’ve bought allsorts fro the gem store.
Things like extra bank storge, character inventory slots, extra character slots are always nice.
Also items like unlimited tools and salvage machines are nice to have to.
If i were you i would wait til the end on the month as GW2’s 3rd birthday is coming up and they will no doubt be sales in the gem store and hopefully some of the older items returning

I dont mind asuras holding the GS whilst attacking (i main asura mesmer)
But we also look awesome carrying the GS slung over over shoulder whilst running.

I played TERA for the 6 weeks free at the start then decided i didnt want to carry on with the monthly subscription. Then when it went free i decided to have another look at the game. Because my account had been inactive for a while they gave my cool name to someone else who was active. I logged out and deleted the game.
So no giving your name away because you havent logged in for whatever reason is the worst idea ever.

I wrote that on this very forum 2 years ago and still stand by it, so it’s a no from me to.

It’s a case of buy low sell high.
I’ve bought 5 enameled dyes for myself last couple of weeks.
Noticed last night a very large amount has been bought out now and relisted most of them over twice what they were if not more. I guess this is the sort of investment that pays off but i dont play the market.

There are several sites online such as Game and Amazon. They send you a code you can redeem at the black lion store for gems.
Not sure what the exchange rate is in euros to gems as i use pound sterling.

nobody really wants your items LimitBreaker, it’s just a thing the forum does when people leave.
I would much rather you lift your spirits get back into the game and hopefully learn a valuable if not painful lesson. Just keep playing save your gold and put it down to expercience and resist the urge to gamble which hopefully now you now know is not worth it.
Good luck whether you stay in game or not, but i’m sure we all wish you to stay and play on.

There are far more losers than winners in the forge. People just say when they win not when they lose. Human nature to show off.
2500g wasted you couldv’e bought as lengendary. It’s a long term goal remember slowly slowy catchy monkey. As i say to guildies etc save up and dont spend and gamble, yes it takes a while but it is achieveable.

I got 2 slots 1 is normal 1 is beta, does the beta one change to the 2nd slot?
