I haven’t missed a daily yet, they do fit my playstyle, i get in from work do a few bosses, play a bit of wvw and i usually find by this time they are done.
Augusts monthly i finished on Sunday and i didnt even look at the list except on the 1st to see what was there, the monthly was far too easy.
Laurels i got an amulet and an infusion and have kept the rest, myself and a lot of my guildies have 200+ laurels, so to me laurels arent the be all and end all of dailies, they just stack up gathering dust.
I know other games arent supposed to be mentioned here so i wont but previously i played another online game and the daily took around 3 hours to do so to me this was very bad and eventually i gave up on that game.
So to me and im guessing the vast majority of GW2 players this game and the daily fits my needs perfectly, thankyou
I’m sure i read somewhere not long ago that they would be changing this so the numbers in the jp dont count towards numbers in wvw but you would still be able to pvp there.

Lots of nice changes there, really looking forward to the wallet. Only one im concerned with is the reduction in graphic details when there’s a lot going on. Does this mean legendary effects will dissapear? Without my ponies i dont have a lot left lol.
I played TERA for the 6 weeks free at the start then decided i didnt want to carry on with the monthly subscription. Then when it went free i decided to have another look at the game. Because my account had been inactive for a while they gave my cool name to someone else who was active. I logged out and deleted the game.
So no giving your name away because you havent logged in for whatever reason is the worst idea ever.
All my characters are asura. My main is ranger with 1900 hours played on her. I have Dreamer legendary, also use T3 cultural and coloured to match the bow. Had used pink quaggan backpiece on her since they same out but switched to one of those wind thingies, still unsure about that. Coloured her hair and eyes to that new purplish/pink colour to match my bow and outfit. So apart from maybe backpiece theres nothing i will change.
Got a new pc this week and can finally play everything maxed out, i didnt realise how stunning these characters were and the world they run around in, simply wonderful thankyou
I have mostly done PVE through out this game until 5 weeks ago when i finished my legendary. Since then i have drifted more into wvw resulting in getting my alt elementalist from 30 to 80 in wvw only and the past 2 weeks all i have done is get my daily done in pve and spend the rest of my time in wvw.
I actually quite enjoy the wvw way more than i thought i would have and i must admit ive been impressed with some of the commanders there and there tactics.
So if you see an asura firing unicorns on deso server thats me^^
I bought 6 lots of gems in the timeframe and no kite yet.
Im only nervous as everyone in LA is flying theirs…
waited for posters to reset today, got up to poster 15 and the achievement was done
I have found all 41 separatist posters and I have not received the achievement
I play on Deso server and really only participate in WvW a small amount. I have noticed in the last few weeks our opponents have been 2 French servers at same time and 2 German servers at same time. I’m certainly not here to moan on, but surely 3 different countries is more of a level playing field?
This is not my best game ever but its certainly up there, when you have almost 2000 hours played it must have something lol.
As to these online games i have found if im playing with a good group of friends/guildies that is the most important thing for me.
When i look back at all the games i played its the friends ive made that are my lasting memory.
1. My Ranger with over 1800 hours on her
2. 90% of my guildies have left the game and my best friend in GW2
3. Nothing to do after my daily
I crafted mine 5 days before the nerf, i would like to know why i can throw a radiation field 1200 range and fire only 900 range. Yes im sick of the out of range popping up all the time. People who have crafted The Dreamer want to use them and not switch to a/a or whatever other weapon we have.
All in all i cant see this getting reverted back but one thing i have noticed is i play a lot less now and have boycotted the gem store.

Thanks CursedHorse, i’ve got over 1500 hours on my Ranger, as well as Legendary i have T3 armor, all ascended trinkets, the pick/scythe from the shop, Zerkers gear for dungeons. So i have spent a lot of time and effort on her, i’ve only just started to do wvw regularly im just concerned a may be pants at that now. I tried new dungeon last night and that part with golems was so hard, pet died instantly and the golems seemed to be kittened right off and chased me all the time first til i died every time, either the bear upset them or they didnt like the unicorns lol
Was going to get Medium on Ranger, but after the last nerf changed my mind as no doubt im going to have to think seriously about a another class. Just made my Dreamer last week to oh well. Everything ive bought with gems has been for my Ranger and have used real world currency.

Farmed 900 coffers last Saturday, Opened 400 on Sunday no ticket, decided to sell the other 500 so not to be a total loss. Several guildies have mutliple tickets from only a handful of coffers.
I never got a single ticket from an of the previous events either.
Oh and still waiting on dragon wings to drop to lol
Started to craft the parts i need for Dreamer last night
Just need 240 more tokens from TA, I had 44 clovers, last night Balthazar was taken so zoomed over grabbed more shards, ended up with 67 clover, just before i ported back to get more, server resets, Balthazar is contested again(now that is kittening mad) Guess gotta wait 5 more days to take it again lol.
So 10 clovers and 240 tokens is all i need.

Took me 2 hours last night to get it done but got there in the end. A lot of anguish was vented in guild chat but thank the 7 gods of Jupiter i did it.
After it was done a nice mesmer turned up and stayed there ages porting everyone up so that was a nice touch.
Yes it was a pain but the sheer relief of doing it was great
i am also on Desolation and had to wait 9 weeks for map rotation and my final poi. Why should players now get an easy shortcut to world completion when everyone else has had to work for it.
I spend most of my time in PVE but i actually enjoyed my time in WvW when i was getting my maps there. I even go back now and then with my guild as it can actually be fun.
Oh and we have a few members in our guild waiting for map rotation to complete their 100% map.
Even when they changed the drops from boss chests to always get 100% chance of a rare the megadestroyer was never included in this so im guessing thats why there isnt a daily chest. i only ever do it if im in the map after the golem and i hear he’s up
I kitted my main out in exotics for mf gear and dungeon gear.
I found after that i really just built gold and mats up over time.
It wasnt until a couple of weeks ago i thought about going for my legendary when i realised what i had amassed just over time.
Dont think about legendary yet gear your main up and let the gold/mats build up over time.
Remember the tortoise won the race not the hare, so dont be in a rush to get your legendary work at it over time.
Mon-Fri i do 7-8 of the bosses and daily without fail
I salvage all my rares unless there over 30s and i sell on TP
I havent sold my ectos their in my bank and i have a lot.
I sell the sigils which can net you around 5s each
I do spend around 4 hours on a saturday and sunday in orr farming mobs with my mf gear
Sunday for example i had 1 exotic, 12 rares in 2.5 hours. All the mats i keep and i open all the bags and keep the mats to.
Never go past a node without harvesting it.
Dungeons and Fractals i may do 2 a week.
All i can say is just play the game, get involved with what is happening around you and you will soon make gold without even realising it dont try and chase specific targets it will happen over time, have fun and play
Bought the collectors edition and spent around £25.00 on gems.
Prior to this i spent £500 in 6 months of Forsaken World and that was mostly on fashion and mounts and cosmetic stuff.
Please anet bring on the fashion and make it wearable in PVE and my money is yours.

Saturday i got 1 ecto from my first 5 rares then the next 3 i got 8 ectos.
Overall:
Saturday 32 rares – 31 ectos
Sunday 28 rares – 39 ectos

Server restarts. If you’ve done a daily, and they restart, you can sometimes get a ‘new’ daily. Some people have benefited from this with an extra laurel.

Yes i have had an extra laurel as the new content update usually happens a few hours before the daily reset. However the monthly one is different that starts 00.00am on the 1st of the month regardless of how many resets happen the day before.

How did you do it in 3 days when part of the monthly was to finish the daily achievement?
I had to wait for day 4 to finish my monthly so how did you get around this?
I stopped doing that event before the update if i was ever waiting for Tequatl. Now if the event pops up i actually go and join the ‘fun’. I find it way better much more enjoyable. Seems to scale to the more people the more kitten they get, the other day there wa 3 champs coming from one direction and 2 from the other. Please keep it the way it is, way less boring and way more challenging now.
Dont even get me started on the state of Desolation it’s just about unplayable.
Tried to get Shatterer dont last night not a chance, thought i would go to Fissue of Woe as a guest.
Its like a completely different game, no lag, no culling, no overflow, around 20 people only there, dragon lasted way longer than the 1 minute it takes on Desolation.
Overall a very enjoyable experience. Why cant we get back to this again!!
Another point guild bounties on Desolation if you have to go to a map with a boss on it forget it you will always be put in an overflow, this needs fixing.
For the first time this week i have had to use the guesting feature. Why? because Desolation is totally unplayable now because every map with a boss you just get put into overflow.
I do not want to guest at all i just want to play my game hop over to the boss when its time and go back to do what i want to do with my guildies.
I do not know what the long term answer to this is but i think short term guesting should be stopped so we can get some accurate feedback as to how busy these events actually are on a particular server.
I’m sorry but guesting onto my server Desolation its crazy the world is aleady packed with just Desolation peeps.
When i get put into an overflow on my homeworld and there’s people talking in non-english languages they all must be guesting as i have never experienced this before.
Loot for all i totally agree with but surely common sense says we must be allowed to play on our own homeworlds with our friend and guilds

Im on Desolation, no matter what map you play on there’s people everywhere. I did Kessex Hills and Ganndaran Fields on my low engineer yesterday (after i had done my bosses for loot) and it was busy with people especially with guilds chasing their bounty bosses. I have now experienced overflows now on normal maps at Queensdale and Frostgorge which was a first lol.
Maybe now more people are leveling alts to get to 80 for the boss chests.
I’m just so glad i picked Desolation from day one, best choice i ever made in this game.
I dont think people who have invested time and gold in making alts should be punished. I think the chest needs to be changed to one per character per day whether its on your own server or guest server.
i’ve farmed dragons since the start it’s totally demoralising to farm 10+ dragons in a day and get no rares. Last night i did the 3 dragon got 5 rares, maw i got only a blue.
Jumped to guest server to check and didnt even get a chest.
What it did though was free up my time to do other things such as help my guildy with his story quest. So no leave it as it is as i can now spend my time actually doing a lot more fun things.
I run with just over 100% mf minimum and higher with buffs and food, in pve i’ve had around 20 exotics drop from mobs plus ive had 3 from dragon chests (i know mf does not effect chests). I hardly run dungeons and fractals but when i have i change my gear to no mf, had around 6 exotics drop in total from them. Have played 900 hours on my main (which is very lucky) and around 150 hours on alts.

I play on Desolation and its packed with people, glad i picked that from day one.
However at the weekend i guested on 2 servers and one of them was Vabbi and to be honest i dont know how people play on there. At Tequatl no-one was there at all and i spent 45 mins in Frostgorge just gathering nodes and stuff all the time Claw of Jormag was up and not a single soul was on the map. On Desolation these Dragons dont last too long there is always 30+ waiting for them and a heck of a lot more once it kicks off
I didnt realise other servers were this bad it was certainly an eyeopener all i can say is why on earth didnt people didnt leave those low servers when they had the chance baffles me.
I believe its an npc called Wark in blazeridge steppes top right of map you have to do 2 events and you can buy it from him for less than 1 silver.
think it may be the harpy love potion maybe

Yes when i do my daily later today i will have 4 Laurels. Just happened to be playing at the patch time so i got my first laurel daily done before daily reset.
It’s only one laurel and tbh if i missed it i wouldnt have minded.
I guess the next big complaint will be February only has 28 days and getting 28 Laurels isnt enough even though we got the extra ones from the last few days of this month.
People will moan and complain about anything. It’s called a daily as you do it each day. For the love of all that’s holy i hope this doesnt change.

I briefly mentioned this on another post today.
Saturday 8 rares converted to 18 ectos ( first 4 rares i recieved 12 ectos)
Thats the best conversion i have had.
My worst is 1 ecto from 10 rares in one day.
It is swings and roundabouts, good days bad days, it’s human nature to remember the bad ones, my motto is it’s another day tomorrow maybe i will get luckier.
So Good luck to all you salvagers just keep at it.
