dungeons arent difficult, id say they’re chaotic and faceroll-friendly.
thats of course cause u dont have any cc and the trinity.
but its not that they’re missing, thats just how this game is.
it sounds good but only in theory.
in reality it wouldnt work as well, since most spells have some buld-up time before they go off,
and people tend to run around all the time, so u prolly wouldnt hit them with this option turned on.
yeah the music themes from each race’s city gets played everywhere, and doesnt fit with every map.
and there isnt enough ambiance sound.
but i dont mind. theres more important things to take care of.
and its good to see that its not me, but the game.
hopefully they know about this and they’re working on it.

i did the same as u. kept everything and upgraded cpu/mobo/ram (+got an ssd)

i think i know my own language better than u. and the original word is trikittenistos.
as with most latinized greek words that were made to end with -us instead of —os/-is and -um instead of -on.

is this a new bug? or is it a malfunction from our end?
it has cost me a lot in pvp, and its generally extremelly annoying.
All I have to say is that you need more toughness. That stat saves my life more times in PvE and you can feel the different with your death rate being much lower with a good amount of toughness in PvE.
yeah thanks for the advice but ive never ever had such a problem before in pve.
even if i took half the damage from those normal mobs, id still die :P

since its the closest thing to “pve”, and there is no pve section.
i went to straits of devastation, southeast part at sea, underwater.
there are a couple places there filled with mithril nodes,
(3+ nodes within a couple meters)
and also some normal, non-veteran mobs, that kill you in a heartbeat.
im lvl 80 with half exotics, and one or two Risen kill me in like 2 seconds.
and, apparently, as im writing this,
some invisible enemy is “chaining me” indefinitely, and hurting my healthpool.
combat log says “.” yeah, that’s a fullstop.

if u like WvW, asura racial utility “pain inverter” (if i remember the name correctly)
works perfectly with tanky guardian (and warrior secondly).
u can make a great retaliation-oriented build as an asura.

Kryta makes me think of the Byzantine Empire near its decline. Vastly diminished in power, barbarians and new powers at their gates, a ruler that is breaking some of the rules of nobility, and just the environment a bit too of the temperate coastal.
Of course the architecture in Divinity’s Reach and such bears little resemblance to that and is more closely to akin to medieval or quatrocentro Italy, so its hard to say what attributes we are evaluating to place it.

Did you really ask that? How isn’t it? You are knowingly gaining currency via unintended means. Instead of reporting them and moving on, you are working with them to further your own progression. Essentially, you should consider yourself a bot if you are going to do this. You are also being detrimental to your server in WvW.

the traitlines are fine and the general idea behind each support skill is also fine.
the reason people dont choose support builds (even the ones that enjoy supporting)
is that in this game it is very hard to support your team mates.
and very much based on luck even for the most well coordinated teams.
its fun when theres just 2-3 people that have Voip and have built chemistry between them over time,
but other than that, supporting is very unreliable in this game, where it seems like its every man for himself.
i have to agree on this one.
my elementalist alt is just lvl26 but he has by far the worst downed-2 skill.
actually, if you swap no3 with no2 it would be kinda useful then.
u run away, then channel the slow.
why channel a slow when the guy is next to me? lolz.
the only thing that bugs me is when they knowingly exploit the “culling” problem the game has atm.
anything else can be countered.

i play thief, and have a 25-ish lvl ele alt with which i occasionally wvw.
i find it very annoying how most skills have an unneeded casting time,
or root you, or a very slow animation until they take effect.
especially the staff, which i like most.
i have to agree. elementalists are a free finish.
my main is a thief btw :P
i was surprised as well when i found out that the thief has the same dodging ability with all the other classes.
i expected such a class type to have a higher endurance regeneration by default.
and i wouldnt mind having lower cooldowns on our abilities. but its ok.
and shadow refuge should reduce aoe dmg… srsly.
what annoys me very much is that most of our shadowstepping skills cant be used over gaps or on other platforms.

yah once you get some cash, but many out there dont have cash and live with 50 silver. When u only have 50 silver and you struggle to get more money, cos you are not a hardocre gamer but more of a casual gamer, paying 3 silver for 1 travel is ridiculous

dont u find the current WvW combat weird,
where everyone stays at ranged distance, hesitatingly going back and forth firing shots?
i think it would be great if there were some actual front line fighters
that arent afraid to push and start a real battle between the two sides.
my suggestions:
a) just give those classes a skill path that makes them very durable,
at the cost of damage of course. (atm there’s no such thing, dont kid yourselves)
or
b) when wielding a shield, your dodge bar is replaced by a blocking bar.
numbers and such can be adjusted after testing.

There are exploits, I’ll give you that – but then there is coordinated effort to ensure your world or your team uses each and every resource they have to their advantage.War is not fair, war is not pretty, war gets out the worst in us – and the best – and even if we have excluded open world pvp from the rest of the game, this is exactly what happens on the WvW maps: It is the ‘playground’ for strategists and great tacticians, it is the place for coordinated efforts and mean ideas in the middle of the night.
Night capping is one of those valid tactics to score some points in a lasting battle – to get your world the upper hand, or cancel out daytime supremacy by another well coordinated opponent.
As Guild Wars 2 will progress in time, so will world vs. world and core gameplay mechanics. But for now, night capping is one valid possibility to ruin your enemie’s days – pun intended.
only difference is, this is a game and not war.
and games should be fun before being serious.
anyway, i dont mind night capping.
u have more important things to take care off, like invisible enemies.

If you can’t resist to leave when losing…then don’t join sPvP..limit yourself to WvWvW and PvE not a game mode where teamplay is necessary
I never said I can’t resist to leave while losing. They made it hot join with auto balancing for a reason, so players can come and go. It’s casual PvP, people shouldn’t be punished because some tryhards get mad when they lose.
its the leavers who cant stand losing, not the ones that stay and fight.
thats why they leave in most cases.
and yes, bring back dishonorable. no question about it.
i play d/d 20-30-20-0-0 blind etc..
when on the wall, i use shortbow to poison and pop explosions. it’s good damage.
u can also place the “circles” in such way to control enemy movement,
and when u see them splitting up, u pick some unlucky dude, take out your daggers,
kill, finish, back inside. repeat
i did the same thing, and:
ranger is too easy.
necro/mesmer/warrior, easy.
thief/guard is ok.
engi/ele, a bit harder.
kinda like mine d/d-p/p. but i use blind a lot.

my guild usually has 2 groups vs a zerg, and i can get in, kill, finish, and get out.
u clearly need to get better.
i have target lock on. not sure if that makes any difference.
when i hit escape most of the times it does clear my target.
but some times no matter how much i spam escape it will remain there.
a XII trait like:
if you stay still for 10 sec you gain stealth.
breaks on action or movement.why you want this trait for?
if you thinking about camping in place and defend, there is a neat way to do it in game.
you can use shadow trap.
i told you why. i go afk a lot. and i hate corpserunning.
only when defending a keep ;p

ofc they will be cookie cutters then.
atm i do play a dps spec (20-30-20-0-0)
but before that i played a “tanky” build and it was fun.
getting everything that grants vigor, sword/dagger, withdraw, roll for initiative.
(i stopped playing it because i was fed up at how bugged Flanking Strike is)
