Jade Sea wont make it to T1 yet, it even might be Elona Reach who will make it back in 2 weeks, as next week they will have holidays.

Jade Sea has almost an as good coverage as Vizunah and they are a lot more agressive (that mean they don t wait off peak to attack “AND” fight in open field), but they will give up quickly the matchup if they get crushed during the week end reset.

I really enjoyed the fighting tonight, especially a big fight of 12min on Astraholme, even if we didn’t manage to take it xD

You know as weel as me that it wont be your last week, same for next week, because you will make a lot of points in off peak during the week and no server in T2 will be able to make enough points. At the next matchup, Bief will have school holiday but that wont be enough against the timezone coverage of Jade Sea.

You can’t anymore at moment, so you have to fight “to defend” since peole are actually coutering your gameplay (Fighting outnumbered servers), that’s one of the reason why you can’t make anymore a high score.

Like Wood, Stone and Steel or the really hardcore defensive gameplay while waiting for your true gameplay the “WSS” style when it’s finally safer (night and early morning, exept when they are people against you like in the week end) for you to allow you to come out of your fortress ?

What i will remember is that you are the best server who play for point and also the most boring, as you fear fighting as much as you like points.

National servers bandwagoners are better than international, because the communication is easier on vocal.
The reason why Vizunah is stronger than Bief, even if they are both national server, is that because Vizunah have a better time zone coverage and less national server = more bandwagoner, as a lot people from the lower french tier masssively joined them, even if now they wont get much more than the last “heroes looking for challenge” since the last wave of leftover of Arborstone.

Hiding in towers and night capping is something iv encountered with many french servers even in T3 with AR it may just be a french community thing and that’s how they play.

Despite this some french guilds on these servers do fight open field and i have great respect for them others need a kick in the backside and grow some balls we had a group of 15 run into a similar sized Viz group hoping to ninja cap a sentry or camp or something and rather than fight they simply ran off.

It’s raid leaders like this that form bad opinions not to mention spread defeatism within your community, i wish you the best in running an academy in the hope it strengthens the resolve of both commanders and randoms and for those that persist just tie a rope round their waste so you can keep them together when they flap away.

They aren’t used to do evenly fight, as they usually stick together and lack individual skill. That’s exactly how “most” pugs and individuals players even from good guilds when they are alone.

The problem is that french servers only have a few decent guild that can (or at least try instead of running away at first sight) play even without greatly outnumbering their ennemies (They will most of the time say that they were not much and you were 2~10x more than you actually really were, because the truth can be a lethal weapon) or try to play while being outnumbered.
Those french server runs with something like 2/3 pugs and the commanders have to do with what they have. When the commanders doesn’t have more balls than the average pug, you can see what’s the result.

Ps : Opt is a french guild on SFR since almost 2 month, we came after PRX left.

Using that is normal from their side. All servers got people that cheat, but some have more than the others.

Not because of superior strategy, but timezone coverage. Exept if you count 4am to 12 against doors a superior strategy. But as you said “maybe” but not :p

Switch to dagger/focus for bigger fight, if you don’t want to use your staff.

Need a rainbow sword for over 50 players, to see them at 7am from the best server xD

Vizunah is at least the best server at something, but it’s only time zone coverage ^^

It was the whole Piken Square home map who had problem, even if you weren’t close to the zerg. I tried to go an other map and there was no lag at all.
If there is a big battle, all the map will lag.

It’s a big change to fight against people that actually want to fight and i think (hope) the next matchup against Piken Square might be ever better ^^

If Vizunah manage to save some point for some time, it’s only because of the upgrade of T3 during the night and to defend them, if they are awfully bad outside their fortress when they aren’t at least twice the number of their opponent, it’s because it’s a pugs server, with a very few guild, as they can’t get a full guild raid with all those people who stack on the free win server.

4+ treb from SM to Wildcreek against 3 ele and their swirling winds for over an hour = ele wins ! xD

They are 100+ vizunah players who switch map during the, night and even after 4am, they are still 50+ zerg on a single map, without counting those who are still scouting on the others maps.
Desolation doesn’t have that much players, but untill 4am, they are at least 70+, with Kaz and the others guilds + pugs.

Actually SFR doesn’t have a big nightcrew. It’s mostly pugs and few guilds, but we are still there to fight and don’t let them cap everything and make too much points during the night. With 15+ more night time players, we could stop them and stay competitive.

We have enough room to let you play with your whole guild, without much queue in prime time and way more than enough people to fight during the night, if you are a guild that play during the night, as we only are a medium populated server fighting against full servers.

We were 8 (5 Opt, 3 Pugs) and we saw and did fight 4-5 other people from desolation before that. I was the commander and it was my treb !

We were 3 people in garrison, maybe 4. I just found it funny that you didn’t go for the wooden gate but actually commenced trebbing the reinforced wall in-staid. I take that as a compliment though

It might sound weird to you, but you are not alone on a map, they are those that you can’t see because you aren’t with them.
Fifteen minutes before this attak, we tried an other one on the watergate and deso had almost 10 players and we still were 8. When we took supply camp before longview and cliff, we did fight more than 3-4 of desolation player, without counting yours.
Do i really have to tell you why 8 players can’t take a fortress with 1 ram (you would have damaged the second before we build it) against 7+ defenders on rempart ?

I alone can stop an attak on a fortress if there is only one ram and 4 attaker, so with your number and ours, you were more than enough.

Great for running away againt a big zerg, or to play against a lowbie or someone who is really bad, before killing him.

Arbostone was one of the few newest server without a big player base, because most of those who did transfer on it did that to avoid WvW queue.
We managed to get from the bottom of the ladder to the top pretty fast, but we didn’t have enough people to have a decent amount of player exept during prime time, as we were most of time at mid pop, but with a big part of our players who were coming in WvW.

Having a low pve population is a too big handicap, since you can’t really count on a serious back up from them.

Really wonder why a French guild would join a server that has constantly been flamebaiting and making fun of the French in general. I guess the mocking of the French nationality will tone down now since SFR are desperate for those numbers.

Most of those kind of post are from Desolation and other hater post are from Vizunah and Arborstone (i was one of them too) in those flame war.
SFR didn’t really take part of the french bashing and not even against Arborstone, as we didn’t fight them since the creation of Mos matchup website history. But i think we did it during the one day matchup.
Some SFR may have made fun of the way of playing of Vizunah, but we also don’t like how they are playing anyway.

Vizunah might drop to T2 at the end of the next week, if Arborstone fall like Blacktide, because Elona will make a lot of point and might go up to T1 easily because of that.
Piken Square will be first of the T3 and will fight a weakened Vizunah in T2. If they manage to win, they will take the T1 stot of Elona instead of Vizunah.

Truebanana you have lots of posts on these forums about how you hate zergs, so why is it, now that Arb are dropping, you decide to bandwagon jump to SFR, known to be a full server with big numbers?

Yeah you are free to do as you please, but kinda goes against everything you have said. Server hop easy wins are great eh?

I wont change the way i’m playing.
I’ll play with my guild, but we will be free from leading the map where we will be with our commander there, so we wont end up leading the biggest zerg from our side of the map.
When i get kitten off zerg (it can take 5min as well as 2 hours), i just switch alone on an other map. So SFR or Arborstone wont really change anything for me. Any server was fine for me, exept Vizunah, even the best autocongatulating server like your would have been ok, but for me the best choice would have been Piken Square or a NA server.

As you can see on this screen, SFR (Repos du marin in french) have a middle pop, while your is the only one full.

LNM are on a NA server actually and they will go on Jade Sea latter. MOS might switch on Vizunah and maybe Fureur will too.

Option (from Arborstone) is coming on SFR.

Arborstone only played something like 3 or 4 matchup against VS and i didn’t have the chance to see the mythical guilds of VS that were looking for open field battle, as they always hide in their fortress while playing for points and only for that.

It seem like that VS will get stronger (in number and coverage only) as more bandwagoner from AS are running away from AS to VS (mostly pugs and little guilds), while some are going to Jade Sea.

1988 badges and19886628 karmas. I used something like 1500 badges on siege weapon, but since 2 month i don’t make much badges and karma (something like 500k karma in 2month lol), since i mostly roam alone now.

I have got the same problem with a portrait surround.

Anyone that couldn’t launch gw2 in 4320×2560 here that doesn’t have the problem anymore ? I can’t play with that resolution :s

Nice screen before the weekly reset, when they aren’t much people playing. You should have tried to hide the time of this one.

When you manage to outnumber the others server on EB, your home map, BT and still have enough people to attack AS borderland with over 80 people all that at the same time at 4am, i don’t think that’s because we are slacking. You have got too many people who are stacking on your server and a lot better timezone coverage.

We did the same in the past, that mean full on every map (during our prime time, i don’t talk about night coverage) while the others weren’t, but we did at least notice that.

Let me guess, the usual single zerg composed of every players of the whole map vs 25 RG xD

Is that the reason why people form big zergs composed of the whole map ? xD

1 – Stop free transfert, but leave them for servers only if they have a too big difference ratio of population in the current matchup. Population counting method : Unique connection from player in the last 30 days in WvW only.

2 – Add a buff for the servers who have got a too big difference ratio of population in the current matchup, : +25% karma, +25% xp and something like 3 badges max, instead of 2.

3 – Outmanned buff : 10% dmg and def.

With that every server will have less queue (bandwagoners might think a little more) and match up will be a little more fair.

What are you actually doing then ?

Because you have IRON, the guild that can do anything, it can also help to grow back hair on your head. When i read the recruitement topic of desolation, it does always make me smile

As said above, most of Arborstone fighting power is from our guilds, the casual do a big part of the work, but if we are losing, we will lose most of them.

Most of the bandwagoner of every french server are already on Vizunah (Same for top english speaking servers, those in lower tiers wont change easily), so i don’t think we have lost many more player, they are just taking a holiday break.

Vizunah guilds are weak, but it’s all about number and a big pugs organisation who will set up their alarm clock at 5am to morning cap, if it can help them to win the matchup, while Arborstone guilds (pugs are the same everywhere) try to fight and have fun, even if it mean losing. BT players can confirm that.
Our playstyle are too different, i would never go to Vizunah, exept if my whole guild had to go there, an english speaking server would be better.

As for Opt, our main raid leader is in holiday and i’m (main night solo roamer xD) playing at Chivalry medieval warfare for those holiday and something like 1 or 2 hours at gw2 everyday.

There are lot of bandwagoners who left AS for VS, but there are also some people from vizunah who came on AS (individually, no guild) and that’s the best of them. That’s those who like to roam and are bored to only fight against those who only fight in a big zerg of the whole players of the map. I know that Elona play like VS, if not better than them as a group and also have close to no one who roam, so they have to deal with it for this week, but next week it will be different.

Thx to the 4 Nucleus immortal (or something like that) for the duel, it was fun and also all the other from both elona and deso like them.

Playing and only following instructions is the best way to bore people and losing population. I don’t know how you can still want to play after a few hours of single whole map zerg on each map.

The biggest difference between our server is sometimes we have a big zerg with the most of people on the map, but that’s only when we only have one commander, because you can’t control the pugs, but our guilds aren’t scared to play if they aren’t at least twice more than their opponent and so, they can move even without the pugs.

Your screen was taken during the afternoon, when they are not a lot of people and i don’t think it was on your homemap. So you were attacking an other home map.

Mine is a lot cooler and i couldn’t catch them all on the screen xD

We had the outmanned buff on our home map at 10.30pm for something like 5min, even if we only were on EB and there during the prime time xD

Trying to fight you with our group separatly with around 25 players against your 40-50+ single zerg on your side was not a good idea.
We are still not using a single zerg of most people of the whole map to play. Our raid leaders lead their own guilds. + the pugs that want to follow them.

If we have to play like you to be able to do something , i prefere to play at an other game while acting like i’m afk.

As long as i can roam (impossible against VS player, as they never move unless they are 10+), it’s ok for me

Go for Blacktide if you are a prime time guilde, since they have got the number, but not many guild that can actually do something.
It’s the same for Desolation for the number part, but they have close to no guild that can do something. It’s big FFA server that can’t do anything if they don’t have a guild like Ruin to score point during the night, it’s almost the same for Blacktide and Xaoc, but it’s morning cap by EU players.

If you go for blacktide, you might get something like VIzunah, a server full of pug and bandwagoners who are coordinated that win because of the advantage of the number people over time, but not only because of that.

It’s even more possible if you are playing against Baruch Bay.

Warrior, guardian, necro and engineer are the 4 easiest class to fight against when you play as a dual dagger. But that doesn’t mean that it’s really a lot harder to fight against the others class.

It was this morning, we were 3 on the map to take back our fortress and the map was full green, the color of Blacktide, exept for 2 camp, one was our and the other at the other side of the map was to the Vizunah side. This guy had to attack the only one thing that wasn’t green or blue (vs color) xD

You can stomp in mist form, you only have to start the animation of the stomp and then use the mist form.

I actually really like to be able to finish people like that, mostly during hollow hours, when they are something like 40-50 people night caping the whole map and you are less than 10 people to defend. I just go down and kill one guy that is in the middle (not the closest to me) of the crowd. If i can get the chance to do it, i stomp 2 in a row, because i can, as i’m using dagger/focus
