Holy kitten, the amount of hypocrisy comming from blob farming materials in this thread is over the top, I didn’t even manage to read whole thread because I already have enough of outrage.

I’ll tell you what, I do roaming as well as I do dueling too. I enjoy both, I like new builds people come with since WvW isn’t so restricted with stats or builds and I like practice, lots of practice. And while I’d just stomp some random WvW farming material or carebear on my roaming routine around trying to look “useful” and not “disrespectful” to the other players (Does anyone actually give a kitten? I mean, most of those useful wvw players just bandwagon servers nowdays like cheap kitten) duelling could actually give me more fighting experience and result in more fun too.
There are some quite annoying things in WvWers behavior I’ve noticed since I started playing WvW. First it was pure, unrelenting hatred towards GvG players, which drove them out of WvW to an extent I can barely find one if I want to. Now it’s “those 3 dueling guys we lost a blob fight because of”. Seriously, QUIT THAT BULLkitten
Because it’s up to me how I manage my time and how I want to play the game I payed for. There are no strict rules telling us how are we supposed to play WvW, except for those unspoken ones pushed into everyone throats by the masses. Made up by somebody whos WvW perspectives could be very biased and onesided.

And lmao @ the person who said 1v1 people usually suck at teamfights. What an irony, each time I get some Big Name WvW guild player in my team in sPvP they utterly suck both at solo contesting or teamfights, enough to make me feel ashamed I am playing for the same server they do.

I don’t see the issue. Those who rushed to get all the skins will still get the item as soon as the final component is made available. Its not as though their work is suddenly for naught. And its not like Anet ever said that all you’d need is the Primordous skins, that was just people making assumptions. And you know what they say about that assumption thing.

The complaint is there is a time gate within a time gated achievement. Why making an achievement chain with Seis Burnheart 1 month long which would lead players to another “coming soon”? Why not just make the starting achievement more accessible and put work-in-progress items right up? It only leads to TP flipping and speculations.

This is very hypocritical class able of stealthing, healing to full with mara/zerk trinkets easily, kiting, CCing and dealing damage even if they aren’t really running dps stats.

I fail to understand why anet nerfed elementalists to the ground while buffing this auto-proc AI based cancer. The only thing as bad as druids I can think of is Condi mesmers but again those guys have WAAAAY more counters than druids.

AFAIK, considered to be troll runes for revenant xD I tried it with leadership runes though, was fun at some point.

It does not. However if there is a revenant running the same runes and you stunbreak him with that trait, their runes will also proc for them.

Haven’t experienced any disconnects on my behalf however I did have some teammates/enemies disconnect all at once two last days so that could be it.

I think you should add your build to the original post, some people are stubborn and love to support as revenant.

I find it easy to counter myself though.

Most balanced and “never going to kill one” ? Helll yeaaah, I think logic is broken here.
This kitten of a class has been overpowered as a bunker/support with dps AI since season 1, then they added that Search and Rescue to them allowing to safely pull downstates out of a fight (they changed it now which is lovely).
I have a question though, why nerf mesmer and ele bunkers and let druids be?

2 weeks ago I asked support if I could run such macros because my character kept getting stuck because of some bugged skill. Their definite answer was no.

I agree on what you said about the players not willing to donate to a guild. I had a grim experience with donating over 300g to a guild I left week after because they were nothing but a bunch of close-circled PvE friends with a very hateful opinion on PvP. (that’s despite they were advertising themselves as PvX guild) But whatever, I can relate to, I would never donate into something I don’t owe and can lose at any moment. Meanwhile doing guild event to earn guild currency for a guild would be cool in my opinon unlike spending precious gold I’ve grinded.
However, I don’t agree on adding durability to an armor simply because neither would it encourage players to play together nor would it make happy current database. Why ? Because noone would want to bother with that and we would have less players running around to “cooperate with”.
As for explicit “cooperation” thing. I belive there are many players that like to do any ingame stuff solo, without constant need of relying on cooperation with somebody. Personally, I am getting quite irritated if any community/guild meeting event is going on for too long and need to cool off in solo spvp/wvw roaming or just go farm some gold in PvE alone.
So in my opinion getting rid of GH mats sinks and replacing it with some guild currency earned by guild events is a cool idea, while adding one irritating stuff to complement with other semi-irritating stuff would be..awful despite good motives at core.

I’ve been through some pay2win MMOs and it’s not like I had problems with them overall but eventually grind or “pay so you can compete” killed off my interest. Not to mention all the bugs they could contain even if you payed monthly for their free to play service.
GW2 is a buy to play MMO with close to no bugs and exploits, somewhat entertaining PvP, interesting game mechanics and probably the least negative community among other MMOs. It’s also very casual MMO with big knowledge database and GW2’s gemstore offers us nothing but QoL and cosmetic upgrades and you can buy those by trading gold for gems. There is no grind in GW2, 2nd best gear is easily obtained within a day or so after 80 lvl. And to be frank, all those “too much grind” complaining people are plain wrong, GW2 has no grind unless you want it.

Actually, rifle is pretty underused and it would be cool if they gave it to some other class too.

One does not simply go 1v1 against condi mesmer on revenant, not without mallyx and a good boon duration at least. Conditions based revenant would probably do great against it but not much of kittene against everything else.

As a Rev main I am wondering if the devs even bothered with underwater skills for HoT specializations at all.

Yeah, when I just bought GW2 the very first thing I done was world’s exploration which took me like 2 months. That long because I loved exploration in GW2’s beatiful world, I payed attention to every detail, to every NPC and most events I came across. I don’t really get toxic in PvP because I usually restrict myself from team chat and hateful whispers as well as I don’t have any problem climbing in divisions but sometimes I do feel like I miss those days.

Revenants skills are very low CD compared to other classes. Not to mention that utility skills, for the most part, don’t any any CD’s. That’s just how the class is. No sense in complaining about it, just learn how to play it better. Not to mention that revenants are in the meta for all game modes.

Revenant can’t choose utilities though and very easy to read unlike the other classes. Not saying it’s a weak class but holy kitten – being able to switch only between 5 sets of utilities is kittening annoying at times.

Otherwise, it doesn’t need any major overhauls. The majority of people love Rev, and it sits in the meta for all game modes at the moment. /thread

We don’t have it until we run into it and then we feel embarassed that we actually do. And personally I have underwater fights on WvW quite frequently on all borders. There is also big deal of underwater exploration too outside of endgame.
Following your logic Shiro and Mallyx are not the legends, they don’t have utility skills and revenant can definitely pick other legends underwater. Nope. Also, my “such a good argument” was just one of notable examples. But I kinda noticed that every single one of “)” folk kinda can’t follow and tend to be biased and one-sided in their judgement.

I think everyone waiting at Highpass Haven agrees now that it would be cool if Anet let us know whether that achievement is time gated as daily and we should go something more useful rather than AFKing there for hours. Since there is no valid information about that in corresponding achievements section.

Seems the rotation for her movement from map to map is rather long. You only need to find the five signals on the map once, and then you must wait for the NPC to move to another map to continue the achievement.

Yeah . . . it’s wait to have fun again.

I just hope she spends 3 hours at each location, not an entire day.

What are you doing in terms of compensation for this change? I mean, will dailies that were cleared during this period be automatically cleared, or will we just miss out on that daily progression entirely? Will we get our loot compensated somehow? I mean, usually when a game takes things away from players that they have earned, they give something back as fair compensation.

It happens so rarely in GW2 that you may never have experienced it before, but with most games if they have a significant disruption in service, or especially a rollback that wastes hours of time a player has already spent, then they receive something of value roughly equivalent to the time they wasted. Not a Precursor or anything nuts, but something, a batch of gems, Black Lion keys, ticket scraps, something fun that they don’t already have unlocked.

I didn’t lose anything super fancy, but I did miss out on my dailies from yesterday, so they at least owe me 2g, a bunch of Unbound Magic, Bloodstone Dust, and Rubies, and some achievement points, that sort of thing.

Lion’s arch chat is a mess, so many people angry and overreacting.

We have PvE wings I kinda like but don’t want to grind for and we have PvP wings I like and do have now. You want Ad infinitum? Turn into PvE carebear and grind for them. You want Ascension? Get good at sPvP.
The point of this being there are pure PvP players that don’t want to do PvE but love some skins out there too. Don’t make them grind ever repeating boring fractals pls.

And personally, I find running PvE content fun for like 2-3 times, then it turns into hell for me because it ever repeats itself with the same templates all over again and if I do that too much I’d turn into bot-like players we have in SPvP sometimes. No thanks.

Just some tips for ranked spvp.

Make it 1v9 while playing below diamond/legendary. (i’ve gotta admit late season legendary eventually becomes sapphire quality though.)
Disable team chat, never talk to your teammates. Biggest mistake they do is arguing/kittening when the match is on thus both wasting the time and demoralizing everyone. There are many players you won’t like in spvp/pvp but the thing is, they are numerous and you’re alone, don’t waste brain cells on them. Also If you feel like getting angry after a couple unsuccesful matches – take at least 1 hour break to cool off. Never play when you feel tired or rusty, 1 unranked match before going ranked would be a good warm up.
And yeah, practice, lot’s of it. While 1v1 isn’t essential part of spvp it’s often very useful skill. There are a lot custom 1v1 arenas with people you could practice with.

P.S Don’t fight good condi mesmers. That’s class is a heat against power revenant.

Welcome to GW2, where skill is not allowed. The other day I do staff 5 + jump or phase traversal + jump on my revenant I may get accused of cheating…fine.

Found one when I transfered to NA, only played there for one day before I asked support to transfer me back because 600-1k ping is simply unplayable. Never ever looted one ever since xD

Yeah, rifle is not the worst one yet the most unused one for sure. On the side note, giving it to a thief would make it no risk high reward and kitten off many players, with thieves overall “hit and run” BS style of gameplay. (I’d still want to see it though xD)
