That’s right I don’t, because I don’t believe it was intentional for us to be able to, so in my eyes its effectively cheating… I play with my honor in tact and I do not need to pre cast to be effective.

If you have the downed target selected and are using camera-look (mouse buttons held down) then the interact prompt will not show. We are testing a fix right now.
And this bug got past Q&A how exactly? getting so sick of bugs like this that SHOULD have been noticed b4 u made this patch available. Also my incinerators are bugged out in stealth too, another how the hell did this get past Q&A bug…

How is using broken mechanics “playing properly”? do you really think anet intended thieves to be using hs steal combos? I personally hope this is not a bug and instead a fix because this should never have been possible in the first place. I am not flaming anyone btw, my comment was meant in general, ANY thief that cannot play without using broken mechanics is not a good thief, IMO.
Just to clear this up; you did receive the Revealed debuff?
I’m asking this because it has been since forever that when you use Infiltrators Arrow (SB #5) while in stealth, you will appear unstealthed, while your stealth still continues and other wont be able to see you.
^this is just an animation bug.
Just to be clear, that has not been since forever, they added the ability to remain in stealth even after infil arrow probably 6 months ago, without even mentioning it in the patch notes, so it was kinda a stealth stealth fix, certainly not been in the game forever, I remember the days clearly when we did not have this ability and it was a huge buff to thieves when they added it.
Steal bugs out if combo’d with any movement skill (heartseeker, flanking strike) this needs to be addressed as any good thief cannot play properly with this bug.
If you cannot play without using broken mechanics then you are not a good thief…
Havin same issue, I gave up even trying to stomp anyone now and just dps them down.
There is now a new stealth animation bug, now when I enter stealth on my thief my incinerators (both real) now have a blocky stealth animation around them, just like there used to be with the radiant armor. How does stuff like this get through QA? Please fix asap.
They should be required to craft precurors when we have that option… if we ever get that option…
Finally something to get excited about, I do like collection hunts. I now approve of this patch :P
If they don’t work like heirlooms then they are terrible, and for some reason I get the feeling they don’t.
If they do then it wasn’t very well explained.
What I’d like to see is a system that allows you to start with a basic backpack, and upgrade it with crafting, eventually ending in a FINALLY reasonably attained ascended backpiece.

On the crafter backpack section though there’s one line that leaves me wondering what that means.

Someday in the future? some of us have been waiting 2 years to get some real content into this game, like new zones, and I’m not talking about small zones like southsun or dry top, I mean REAL zones, like the ones you shipped with, and where are the new classes, races? I will be honest with you Colin, it seems to me to much time goes into making new gem shop items and not enough time goes into giving us the content we really want. I just hope that this feature pack reveals something to get excited about because I feel this game is just treading water right now.

But a POI would be obvious. You hover over the name of every map area and it tells you if you got all the POIs etc. I had an issue where, if you check the achievement itself, I had 174 out of 175 areas for Shiverpeaks. But I had completed every area. It was the Forsaken Halls.
Getting 100% map complete is not the same as getting all areas of the map complete for the achievement. You can have 100% map complete and not have all areas discovered.

He isn’t missing a POI. He mentioned that. He’s probably missing a non-POI area in a map.
I think you will find he said he is missing a POI… read his post again.
There are areas in some maps that are not POIs, etc. but count toward map completion. Caves and such. You might want to google map completion. That’s where I found out I had missed something.
This is also incorrect, areas do not count toward completion, only POI’s Vistas skillpoints and waypoints.

Im going to guess its the one in bloodtide coast, in the chantry of secrets, its the base for the orders of whispers, and if you haven’t done their storyline there is a good chance you have never been inside it, so go look there.
If we didn’t need to farm there wouldn’t be much left to do. Perhaps you shouldn’t have 7 chars if you don’t have the time needed to outfit them all. This game requires crazy amounts of farming to gear up, so either farm or play less characters.
There is already a ranking system in WvW and I’m pretty sure they will use that system for commanders when the time comes.

I see. The items in the table are referred to as the rewards, but what they’re implying is that the tickets are actually the rewards.
The tickets are the rewards, which you have to CLAIM, however, you do not need to spend your tickets, you can save them up over the weeks.

no, it applies to the player too. Once every 3rd second. Jump off a ledge with it equipped and youll notice it.

No, I mean like the flame kissed armor issue and the spvp removal of ranks proposal, which both caused major upsets among the community and both issues were addressed and dealt with to the communitys satisfaction (somewhat).

I’m going to guess that arenanet will be reading all these complaint threads about the rainbow tag “feature” and will see its not going down well at all and change it somehow. I have to give them some credit because in the past when the community has gone up in arms about something they listened and made changes, I’m expecting the same thing now.

I don’t understand what you guys are complaining about, the keys are easy to get and the chests are even eaiser to find, and the loot is actually decent, already had a few ascended recipes on top of everything else in them. Really how easy do you want it? this is Guild wars 2 after all, but yeah always people complain no matter how easy loot is.

Matches like this should be played home and away like football, there is a definate home advantage due to ping, I also think the crowds should be removed as we saw in this stream people got Moa’ed by memebers of the crowd. Imho GvG needs a 20 v 20 custom OS arena that has spectator mode, so the teams can fight without players interfering or causing more lag.
This is a good idea, just as long as they are acount bound on purchase, otherwise I think it would kill the sigil and rune market.
I disagree about the stacking sigils bit though, its fine that they changed it, just spend 10g and stop being so tight.
You only need 5 things for the daily, go do something else if its taking to long to cap a tower. Since the amount of points you can get from dailys has now been capped really its not important to do more than 5 a day, as you will evenatually reach cap anyway.
When you first start the fight set Liadri as your target, then whenever you lose her as target you can press the target assist button to regain her as your target. Quite simply you should learn to use these keys, not just for Liadri but for dungeons and also pvp, they are very helpful. So please do not complain about losing your target when its so easily rectified.
Just wanted to add my support to this thread, I recently bought the pass and was surprised that I couldn’t walk straight in passed the doorman, come on arenanet, this is unfinished work, we should be able to walk in at least.
A craftable aquabreather has been needed since the inception of this game, why “they” neglected this is baffling. +1
