Can someone please clarify:
Is the new max Shared Inventory Slots up to 11, once we used the level 80 boost too? Or is it 10 once the level 80 Boost is used up?
Sorry only got my phone internet atm so can’t play.
You can have a max of 11 now. They gave out the level 80 boost in a free slot to be accessed by any character to try/use it.

That’s… quite a spiel. And a few strawmen. Why is this debate so important to you?
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/straw%20man
“a weak or imaginary opposition (as an argument or adversary) set up only to be easily confuted”
There is nothing weak or imaginary about what I am saying. To make shared inventory movable would in fact require pointers to a single item to cover every possible variation in position the inventory database. There is nothing straw man about that. Ask any programmer. Anet has even said this. From the AMA on Reddit…
“ArenaNetRyanD
Allowing for moving the shared slots around like a bag is a decent amount of work. It’s not out of the realm of possibility, and something we should look at especially if we increase the cap on shared slots much more in the future.
The suggestion in that thread for keeping the shared slots and main inventory separate, even in “Hide Bags” mode is something that may be a reasonable compromise that can be done on a shorter timeframe. No guarantees on if or when, but I’ll take a look when I have some down time."
And this particular debate isn’t so much the point as people whining whenever Anet, or any company for that matter, decided to do something nice. You have multiple threads in this very forum of people complaining that Anet has included 2 gold as a reward for completing the Daily meta. At some point it gets ridiculous.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
People need to step back and actually think about this for a moment. Think about how inventory items are in relation to a computer database. Each item you put into an inventory has to have a marker in the database pointing to what can be found where. When you create inventory space that crosses multiple characters, it’s actually easier coding and for memory management to have it in a static place.
Let’s examine it this logically. In a static place you can have the shared inventory be called S (for the sake of argument). Let’s say you put your Copper Fed Salvage Kit in the 3rd slot. The pointer for this is going to be S3 on all characters. Now, if you make this moveable, you have to code the database a lot more to account for every potential variable. Let’s say someone puts it on their 3rd bag slot on 1 character, the 6th bag slot on another and the 2nd slot on yet another character. Not only do you have a LOT more coding to make the bag moveable, you now have to have multiple pointers for a single item across however many characters a person has on their account. That almost makes it an exponential growth in how much coding and memory it will take up.
And let’s say you make it so that the only option to move is to the bottom. Well, that also is going to depend on how the inventory is set up in the database to begin with. You may have one character with all bag slots unlocked and another with only the 5 that come with it. So let’s say you move it to the bottom slot. Well, if Anet has it so each bag slot is numbered then the Shared Inventory will be the 6th bag slot on the character with only 5 slots and the 9th bag slot in the character with all 8. Now, if 6-8 are reserved spaces in the coding, yes, that could make it easier to do, however, since you can’t just unlock the 7th slot without first unlocking the 6th, it may not be that way. Making it go to the bottom could be a very extremely difficult process. Not to mention I doubt the majority of players would want it at the bottom as the majority of the use of these slots are for things like Merchants, TP access, bank access which people want to get to quickly.
And Anet on Reddit has already said that they may look at it in the future, but pretty much said it will be difficult to do.
So really, the only realistic option is do we want to go through some very minor inconvenience (and if this is anything more than a very minor inconvenience, then honestly, you need to examine some things in your life) and have Anet do nice things for us, or do we just want to say, nope don’t give us anything for free from this point forward. I somehow thing the vast, VAST majority of people would rather have the free slot.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
And complaining about this is like someone complaining about 3 bag slots with locks on them, or complaining that there is 5 bag slots for free when they want only 4 because having a fifth makes them scroll the inventory.
No, it’s nothing like that at all. Try again.
Yes, it’s exactly like that.

Fun fact: there’s actually a term for items like this: a white elephant.
“A white elephant is a possession which its owner cannot dispose of and whose cost, particularly that of maintenance, is out of proportion to its usefulness.”
More fun fact: This derives from the tradition, in Southeast Asia, of monarchs giving literal white elephants as gifts. It was a huge honour to receive one, so of course you couldn’t get rid of it, but you also couldn’t do anything with it and elephants are expensive to keep so it could easily end up being more of a burden than a blessing.
There is literally no maintenance to this unless someone is OCD. And what affects one person with OCD may not affect another person with OCD or affect them differently. Anet can not make every little thing work in every little way each person may wish for it.
And complaining about this is like someone complaining about 3 bag slots with locks on them, or complaining that there is 5 bag slots for free when they want only 4 because having a fifth makes them scroll the inventory.

YOU JUST TOOK THE VERY LAST BIT OF PROGRESS OUT OF THE GAME THAT WAS LEFT…. and i dont know if you realize that anet. You are promoting your game as a “big living world full of dynamic events” and you are basically taking it away from the new players…
Its okay giving it to the players who alredy have an lvl 80 character, but giving it to the new players ???So because you bought the expansion you get to automatically skip everything and become max level instead of having to work for it and put the time into doing it yourself…What is this WoW now ?? What a better way to throw the entire world you created in the garbage. Why would I leave LA now except for guild missions??
It removes the entirety of what GW2 is.. exploration and discovery.I just feel that i have nothing in this game, untill now i was like “okay i have level 80 i accomplished something in this game”… cant say that after this patch anymore…
I cared about this game but im not going to anymore… im sick of watching stupid decisions pass in anet like that… im a little sad about this cause gw2 was my fav game. R.I.P.
You’re edits just prove more and more how wrong you are. Leveling has never been what progression has been about in GW2. They said this from the time they put out the games manifesto. And if someone wants to make a legendary, they still have to go out and partake of the world. Going to 80 immediately in reality changes NOTHING. People still have to do the same things they have always needed to do.

Too bad about all the crashing because of the patch though. Hopefully a fix is out soon.
Not an MMO has been done yet where a patch that covers so much doesn’t have some crashes. I think the standard has to be how quickly the issues are fixed rather than them being there. A patch will always introduce a lot of issues because there is no way to test it close to the number of scenarios is goes through once it’s live.
True, but this one has virtually hit every area of the game, it is far greater than some crashes. Infact, never have I seen a patch affect so many events with crashing. I will also add that I personally have never had a crash after a patch/ update since I started playing. Other minor issues, yes but not crashing like this. Hopefully a fix will be out soon.
I have seen crashing worse than this with other patches and that’s just from GW2. And GW2 doesn’t come close as other games I have seen. I’ve seen some games where the servers had to go down for multiple days to fix the what a patch broke. The only thing I have noticed so far is WvW though some people mentioning crashing in some types of gameplay I haven’t tried yet. I am sure it will be addressed in the next couple of hours. If not fixed by tonight, then yeah, I can see the pitchforks coming out.
I guess you haven’t read the bugs section and reddit. Much more than some. And yes a fix has been ‘queued’ ( that means after 4pm pacific time). After 7pm for me, after midnight for europe.
Which is pretty quick. Much better than servers being down for at least 12-24 hours some games have with every patch that affects as many game aspects as this one.
There will never be, nor can there be (at least until a huge leap in technology) a bug free patch with an MMO. There are just too many variables. As I said, it should be judged not on the fact there are some bugs but in how quickly they are squashed.

This came up when the Shared Inventory Slots were first released, and if I remember correctly someone at Anet agreed it would be good to be able to move them and said they’d look into doing it in future.
For now I’ve settled for keeping mine minimised, but I would much prefer to be able to move them to the bottom.
Would it be nice? Yes, of course. Options always are. But considering having the ability to move them even to another static location would require many, many more times the lines of code to make sure it wouldn’t break other inventory items, is that really something we want Anet to dedicate that much time over? And even if they made it so it could be moved to the bottom, you would have 20 more people screaming ‘I want to put in in the third/fourth/etc. slot’.
Maybe towards the end of an expansions content they may have the time to dedicate, but for now they gave out something for free that people just want to complain over. And people even saying that they don’t need to say thank you for it in order to complain.
Nobody in this thread is complaining. As stated before, offering suggestions for improvement and complaining are not the same. If you want to make personal attacks on someone that is actually complaining, there’s another thread that was just created by someone doing just that.
We also do not know how much coding would be involved in implementing a change so the slots could be arranged like bags. Even then, there’s still nothing wrong about offering suggestions as we don’t know how much coding would be involved in any suggestions we make for that matter.
First of all, you’re the one who claims that Anet does not even have to be thanked for that. You just went right into the “suggestion”. And yes, the way many are offering suggestions are indeed complaints because they are unhappy with it as is.
As for the coding, stop and think about it. These are SHARED inventory slots. Let’s say someone moved it to slot 6 on one character, but another character does not even have slot 6 unlocked. Oops, the code has to take that into account. It also has to be written to point to the same item in MULTIPLE locations instead of just one static one. That has the potential to be a nightmare for coding and memory management for that level of customization.
No. I never said that and you’re just twisting what I said. What I said was that thanking them wasn’t necessary in order to make a suggestion about something. By your reasoning then all suggestions are complaints. i wonder how many sugges… er, complaints that you have made.
You’re going off speculation on what could be. The fact is that you do not know as only Anet does. In the end, this is something for Anet to decide if it is worth doing and you cannot tell people that they cannot make the suggestion and then insult them when they do.
I didn’t twist what you said at all.
They should just remove it from people’s accounts who have a problem with it and stop offering free items altogether.
So apparently the way you organize your equipment is the only correct way and people who offer suggestions to be able to customize where the slot is are simply complaining and should not have the slot? That’s a pretty close minded way to think. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with offering suggestions. They’re not criticizing the slot but instead asking for a way to customize where they are located.
Did I say that? No. I am also not the one complaining. But yours and other people’s attitude is ‘If you don’t give it to me in the manner I want than I am going to pout like a baby and complain’.
And yes, they are in fact criticizing it because it’s not exactly how they want. What’s so ironic is that the people who criticize Anet for not making each and every little thing customizable in every single possible way also tend to be the ones who whine about why it takes so “long” for new content to come out.
You’re implying it. People are suggesting improvements and you’re taking it as them complaining. You’re even going as far as to justify why it’s fine the way as it is. As I’ve stated multiple times, there’s nothing wrong with people offering suggestions to improve upon the slot. This same suggestion was actually mentioned when those slots were first offered on the gem store so this has nothing to do with whether they are free or not.
If you don’t like people offering suggestions then simply ignore the thread. There’s nothing wrong about asking for a feature that you would like to see.
And yet not a single person has said “You know what a nice thing for Anet to do. They didn’t have to make the Max to 80 boost and they sure didn’t have to put it in a shared inventory slot that they gave away for free. I sure do appreciate that”.
No, it’s just more entitlement mentality complaining where people have to find some form of fault in any little thing that isn’t exactly they way you want it.
No. You’re the only one here seeing it as an entitlement issue. You like the slot as it currently is it appears and apparently people who offer suggestions to improve upon it to fit there playstyle are in the wrong. Why stop there? Anything that anyone offers suggestions to must mean that those players just have an entitlement mentality complaining because they had to find some fault in some little thing that isn’t exactly how they wanted.
I don’t see it as an entitlement issue at all. I think it’s a very nice gesture on their part that they didn’t have to do whatsoever. It only adds value.
It’s all of you who are like “Well this free item doesn’t work exactly how I want it so you need to fix it!!!!”, that’s entitlement mentality. Take a look in the mirror.
People are not demanding it to be fixed. They’re offering suggestions for improvements. You’re so set on people complaining that you’re reading everything colored that way. There a difference between complaining, especially how you describe it, and offering suggestions.
And yet not once have you said “How incredibly nice of them to do this. I sure do appreciate it”.
It doesn’t have to be prefaced with that.
See, you’re even saying that you don’t have to thank them to give suggestions. Well true, you don’t, but that is what makes it a complaint because you don’t even bother showing gratitude for something given to you free of charge. It’s like you expect it and expect it in ways that you want from the very beginning.
But I will bet any amount of money that you are the type who would be among the loudest complainers if they decided to work on your “suggestion” and that delayed something else that was planned. Because that’s typically how it works.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
Incredibly nice! Thanks Anet!
Should be movable too.Wildkitten, do you notice YOUR comments have spread way more negativity in the thread than anyone of the “complainers”? Just a thought.
Yes, I am negative to complainers. I am also the only one in the thread that has actually thanked Anet for this kindness until you did so. But even you made the demand that they be movable, not suggested. (And yes, saying “Should be movable too.” is a demand, not suggestion).
It’s this type of complaining why games, and even all types of companies, give away freebies less and less these days. It would be one thing if someone said ‘This was incredibly nice of you to give us this slot and I thank you for it. But could you look into the possibility of letting us move it to other places or explain why it would be difficult to do’, but that’s not what is happening. What is happening is people are complaining that it doesn’t do what they want from the very beginning.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
Of course they shouldn’t give things for free that come with unwelcome consequences. Would you thank someone who gives you a smelly kitten as a birthday present?
LOL Your analogies are ridiculous. The vast majority of people see this as something useful and are grateful for it.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
They could’ve made it a 0 gem purchase.
There’s no option to hide the slots.
Each bag, even the shared inventory one, has an Arrow to collapse the bag thus hiding the contents or empty slots of that bag.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
If I can’t move these things to the bottom I’d like to have this free slot removed, actually. I don’t need it and it completely messes up my inventory layout. Again.
I bought 5 shared slots when they were first released and had to get a 15 slot bag on all my characters to realign everything just the way I want it. What am I to do now? Get 14 slot bags? Buy 4 more slots I don’t need?
Just click the option to hide the slots. A company can’t cater to every person’s variation of OCD.

How does what someone else do affect what you have done in any way? You do realize people hit 80 literally hours after the game went live. Did that bother you as well?
Since before GW2 was released they have said that they did not want leveling to be an obstacle for people. It’s one of the reasons downscaling exists in the game. Levels were never meant to be a big deal in this game.

Every veteran player has had to work for their levels and you are throwing a new player 80lvl boost..
When I first started playing MMO’s it would take weeks to make just one or two levels. There is no “working” for levels in GW2.
All games give shortcuts to leveling now. This is not a big deal and a one time thing. Even if they do offer it again, it will be an uncommon, on rare occasion type of thing. And a lot of people won’t even use them to level a character up.

In a new patch we are getting reward of 2 golds for a daily achievements, it is too much in my opinion, with 2golds per day, just from achievements, its like 730g / year. With that big income of thousand players it could harm gw2 economy really hard.
What do you feel about that ?
And there have been things that have been done that have been made into gold sinks in some ways that has had no offset. This could be the way they are trying to remedy that.

I don’t think it’s sneaky at all. Of course they want people to purchase HoT. Name one business that doesn’t try to market their products? It’s the entire point of being in business. A business that doesn’t market doesn’t stay in business for very long.
Btw… all these things just sounds to me more like a sneaky attempt to push people to purchase HoT or spend more time in HoT maps. I won’t go further on this to not derail this thread though.
Players get awesome stuff like a free 80 boost and shared inventory slot, and ANet gets a boost in business. Sounds like a win-win for everybody to me.
~EW
Maybe using “sneaky” was a bit too much lol. And I didn’t say it was a bad thing, I just meant that it was an uneeded thing that nobody asked for and I don’t see any other use for it except pushing players to be able to play HoT maps (tell me about being “stuck” in Silverwastes in a “level 80 trial” while not reaching 80 lol). Why rushing with leveling? First NPE and now this… I miss enjoying exploration while leveling :/
And GW2 is one of the very few F2P games that doesn’t have pay to win items on their cash store.
That’s a thing I like about this game.
I don’t think they are rushing anyone to level. Some people love to rush to level so they included the option IF someone wanted to.
I myself like to level, but I am going to use this to make a new character to help with my Elder Wood logging in Orr. And the goodies it gives are a very nice plus.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
Yes, I am. I see this in every game. And Anet has a history of doing more nice things for it’s player base than any game I have ever seen. In GW1 the player base was much more appreciative of it but GW2 just seems to have the whiners that WoW used to have. At some point when people do nothing but complain when they are given things for free it will make those who give the free things away that there is no benefit to them making that special extra effort.
I was just teasing you, although I also don’t see this thread as a complaint but more like suggestions. Also, not everything is really “free”, some of them may have things or intentions “behind the scenes” O.o I tend to discord that people here aren’t appreciative, I have seen another threads where people thanked them for features or even fixes.
People also need to stop and think about how complex an inventory database is. These shared slot are shared across all characters on an account. To make them movable isn’t nearly as easy as moving a bag from one slot to another as some posters seem to think. To make it movable the code would have to take into account hundreds of more variable such as one character may have 8 bag slots, another have only 6 while another may have only the minimum 5. There is a potential to have a lot of things break by adding in that customization into shared inventory slots that is much easier to do on an individual character. And if past experience has shown anything it’s that the ones who demand that their little wants are met will be the first ones to yell if what they want introduces a bug.
Well, I tend to agree with you in your last points. This feature seems to be somewhat more complex than the inventory itself, not to mention the inventory itself suffers from a bug that devs haven’t been able to fix for 2 years now that comes and goes all out of nowhere.
Shared inventory is an incredibly complex feature. I remember back when I played WoW, the devs in that game had originally talked about making huge inventory bags. Later on they could only do that for specialty items to make the coding and memory management easier.
Having this in a static location really does offer the ability for us to have this now. To make it movable and customizable like would have needed to add a few times more devs to the project and a LOT more time to try to make it work and that may have meant that it may not have been deemed worth it to include at all.

Being at the top makes sense as it’s designed for things to be used across all characters, such as bank access, merchants, TP, etc. Being at the top makes it easier and faster for the items to be accessed.
Just amazes me people can always find ways to complain about being given something for free…
Some people have things organized differently on their characters. There is no one correct way. Some prefer to have everything on the bottom and there’s nothing wrong with that.
For weapons and such that are character specific, yes, I can see that. I do that myself with invisible bags. However, putting things like merchants in the bottom just adds more work to scrolling down to get them.
Besides, we are still talking about people complaining about something given to them absolutely free. If it’s so inconvenient for someone, ignore it. They literally are no worse off than they were before.
And are you bothered by people’s complaints? Just ignore it. :P Nobody asked for it, getting it for free doesn’t mean we wanted it or will have use for it. :P

In addition, this item will automatically be delivered in a one-time, free Shared Inventory Slot, which will not count toward the Gem Store limit of shared inventory slot purchases.
What means that “one time”? it will disappear if i use the 80 boost?
If you continue reading the post it says this…
“…which is yours to keep even after you use the character boost.”The one time refers to the unlikelihood that they will give another shared inventory slot for free.
Huh… where did you see that? I have searched for that sentence in patch notes and it doesn’t say so. O.o I have been doubting that Anet would easily give such item for free.
It’s in Mike’s blog post.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
Yep, a lot of good things in this.
And thank you not only for that level to 80 boost but also to include it in a free shared inventory slot.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus

If GW2 was on Steam, any time anyone bought gems, Steam would get a percentage of that sale.
So the question comes down to simple economics: is it worth placing the game on Steam for the potential of a larger player base that will purchase gems (and share that profit with steam) or is it better to keep the current setup?
Which one will make more money?
For a game like TERA that was struggling, yes. For a game like GW2, no.
At this point it’s highly unlikely computer gamers don’t know about GW2. Surely anyone who keeps up with online gaming enough to know about Steam already knows about GW2. It would be highly unlikely being on Steam would bring any significant numbers of new people to the game than already come to it in the normal fashion.

Being at the top makes sense as it’s designed for things to be used across all characters, such as bank access, merchants, TP, etc. Being at the top makes it easier and faster for the items to be accessed.
Just amazes me people can always find ways to complain about being given something for free…

Not so sure with above comments anymore. Steam has been hosting many F2P mmo’s lately and you don’t need to pay a cent for any of the P2W gear or P4C (Pay for Costuming) so how do they make money off of these?
Now, if steam was hosting the servers, that I can understand a bit, but many of their products are nothing more than links that download off game manufacture servers (at least from what I can tell; it seems Steam is very secretive about such.)
No, Steam is not secretive about it. They are very upfront. Just because a game is F2P does not mean that Steam does not take a cut from any transaction occurring on that game.
If GW2 was on Steam, any time anyone bought gems, Steam would get a percentage of that sale.

Considering Valve wants a pretty large percentage of ANY transactions any game on Steam takes I would say it’s highly unlikely.
TERA was suffering before making the move, GW2 is doing well. There is no incentive to go to Steam.

You do all realize we are only finishing the fifth month of the expansion correct? Many of you seem to expect everything within days of an expansion release. Nothing was ever promised early into the expansion.
I am also thinking many of you have no experience with any other MMO’s. The MMO that has been considered the top MMO for years hasn’t shipped an expansion since it’s first one that has come close to even 50% of the things that were promised for those expansions’ betas.
The reality is some things will always get pushed back and delayed in an expansion. It’s a fact of life. There will always be bugs, the community will ask for different things and so things will be fluid. But Anet has done more to keep their word more than any other game I have played.

Unique is a useless, non-explanatory word. It’s also wrong. That thing the OP has, it’s not unique. He has 2.
And other games? Really? When someone has a problem with their nice and shiny brand-new iPhone, do you refer them to the manual of a 1996 Nokia that they might not even have owned?
Your analogy makes no sense. A more proper analogy between an iPhone and a old Nokia candy bar phone would be someone having problems with the dial pad because that’s something nearly every phone since touch tone phones were invented has in common. Even in the age of touch screens the dial pad is the same.
And no it is not wrong. Unique has never meant in any game where an item is Account Bound more than one can not be owned. It’s always about equipping. You may as well be saying the term Account Bound is meaningless.
It’s sad that every word has to be defined and every word in the definition has to be defined as well.
Yak’s Bend – Expletus
They should put a warning in for this. That being said in ANY MMO you should always read up on your gear path BEFORE buying anything.
Isn’t the word UNIQUE a warning?
Too vague a meaning. Unique can mean a lot of things.
WARNING: You can only equip one Unique Item of its type.
^That’s a warning. Self explanatory and not ambiguous.
This is why there are warnings on gas pumps about gas being harmful or fatal if swallowed because there is a lack of stopping and thinking.
The word “Unique” is most certainly not ambiguous. GW2 isn’t even the first game to offer Unique items. This is a very common type of thing in games.

Please put the buying of fractal keys in bulk back in. To remove this because people “accidentally” buy too many is really not a good excuse. There is even a nag box that pops up that someone has to click Yes I Want To Buy These before it will buy.

My point is that its treated like the 6/6 armor piece while underwater. Also, there is no recipe (not that I can find) for an ascended breather for viper’s stats.
You seem to be missing the point that you can not change the breathers stats.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Anthology_of_Heroes
Will not work with trinkets or back items, as they are not armor (even though the trading post lists them under that category), and also not on breathers.
EDIT: Yassith is the ascended armor with Viper stats and there is no Yassith breather. There are not nearly as many breathers as there are normal armor stat options.

The more crap they pump into your bags, the more annoyed you get and the increased chances of buying bags slots.
This is sad and pathetic. People actually complain about getting TOO MUCH loot?!?!
The game that had been the number 1 MMO for years only gave you 5 bag slots, the same number you started off with. The max size was 20 as well, except for specialty bags, which in some ways were worse because you could only put certain items in them. say if Craftsman bags were in that game, only crafting items would be allowed in it, not just crafting items before anything else.
That game also didn’t allow you to deposit much of your crafting materials from your inventory to your bank and the bank didn’t have a collectibles tab.
If you don’t want to pay for bag slots, don’t. Yes, you will have to sell more often than someone with more than 5 bags, that’s simple arithmetic. But inventory management is much, much better in this game then most others.

Extremely well said. I wonder how some of these people would fair in game that had a raid where you had 40 people competing over just 3 pieces of loot drops per boss and each player had to be geared out to make it to the next raid, and raiding was 4 hours a night 4 days a week.
Then of course there were the consumables for raids which meant flying around looking for a specific plant that grew in the game world in only 3 or 4 spots and you needed between 80 and 160 of them per raid and you had to compete with other players for those plants which would only spawn maybe every 3 or 4 hours. Than once you had the plant you had to do a 2 hour mini raid dungeon to go make the consumables for the raid because the only place to make the consumable was at a special lab table in the dungeon. Then to get to the raid dungeon you had to have your raid group split into 4 different groups and fight there way through another mini raid dungeon to get to the main raid dungeons instance wall. And that’s just a couple of examples out of dozens that could be given.
So yeah, no one complaining of a grind in GW2 has a clue what a grind really is.
I don’t consider that grinding. A typical raid in other mmorpg take about 3 month to move on to the next raid instance. It sounds like a lot, but actually you probably only complete the raid like 12 times.
Consider that to the farm in GW2 it is nothing. I don’t even know how many times I complete cof path 1. Probably a few thousands times.
The thing is there are always those people who play too much video games. In GW2, Anet rewards those players with some terrible rewards so casual players won’t complain. But those casual players keep complaining.
Did you even read the post I made that you quoted? To even go into the raid just one time requires a grind. GW2 has nothing like it.
And you are wrong, you would do the raid more than 12 times. You had to. You had to fully gear 40 people when each boss dropped 3 items that had to be split between those 40 people. You had to do it to move to the next raid because there was the gear grind of constantly needing to improve your gear to be sustainable for the next raid.

gosh you all crying about this and having a real life on top of it all . wow you all need to
play guild wars one. cause there 10 k in drinks is noting at ALL . that would not even
break the first lvl of even being drunk . and then we can not for get about the
candy rank,s there too as well as the skills hurt ranks . and you all crying about 10k
in drinks :P.
And the drinks and candy didn’t drop in near the numbers they do in GW2.
oh really do tell please do tell i never ever seen candy dropping in GW2 and or drinks
for that matter . but i sure have in gw1 . getting a 50k in drinks or candy a day during
there events for gw1 not a a problem at all . but then again to get even more then that
you got to play all day and night. to do it well worth the while
Right of the Wintersday boxes. I mean they are specific for the Festival achievements, but they come out of the boxes in huge numbers.
I apologize for any confusion that the term drop may have caused you to think dropped of mobs. But considering how the game throws Wintersdays gifts at you left and right you can get a lot. I have now 2500 drinks and I haven’t spent a lot of time on game at all with Christmas coming up and haven’t purchased a single one.
