We are currently looking into the rewards for events like this. I will post more information on this as it becomes available. Risk vs Reward is most certainly something we are thinking about.
The current implementation of the Grenth fight is at the intended difficulty.
We identified some bugs in the initial roll out and they were fixed. We also adjusted the size of the portals to allow for more play room. We intend this fight to be a difficult encounter in the open world for experienced players to feel challenged against.

Braxxis is correct. The Golem boss is more of a “mini-boss” and it is by design that you fight him while the waves are coming.
10 and 18 have the same chance.
18 and 20 do not.
Exposing the system caused some confusion it seems.
Let me see if I can shed some light on it for you.
When you defeat a Jade Maw on fractals 2,4,6, or 8 it counts as Daily Factor 1
When you defeat a Jade Maw on Fractals 10,12,14,16,or 18 it counts as Daily Factor 2.
Any run between 1 and 9 all count as the same daily. So if you beat a Maw 8 and then again on 10, you will get 2 separate dailies.
Choose any even fractal, do 3 rounds, then you get Maw.
Currently.. when you defeat the Jade Maw for the first time in a day you get a daily reward based upon the scale of the Fractals. This reward is tuned to “Factors” as such

We are currently looking at the entire structure of the reward system.
No.. You only get a reward chest for 10. you wont for 12. If you beat scale 10 and the press on to 12, you will not get a daily reward chest for that day at 12.
Every even scale below the 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80 scale levels are considered the same “Daily” so if you complete a scale 2 and a scale 4 Jade Maw, you get the same daily reward.
You can still only receive this daily once.
The exotics that drop in the FotM share their skins with karma exotics from the world, that is why they are Account Bound.
I’ve answered this a few times in other posts.
Aldus is supposed to summon adds.
He has 2 sets of adds. 3 on each side. They spawn every 90 seconds until he is defeated.
This is not a bug. This is a random drop from the daily rewards. The vials also have a chance to randomly drop from every creature in the zones.
So as Azelroth suggested.. Loot everything!
There is no weekly reset of your progress. Your progress will remain saved on your character.
Intention on Exotics from the fractal is this. They are skins that can only be purchased with Karma in the overworld currently, and we do not want to invalidate those areas.. So we make then Account Bound but Bind on Equip so that if you wanted you can move them around your characters, but if you choose not to you can always salvage, forge, or vendor them.
We wanted to give the players who wanted those skins but did not want to Karma farm for them an alternative route to receiving them, without invalidating all of the work that those who had already received those skins had done.
The 2 new sets added in the fractal dungeon are.
Magic Find/Vitality/Toughness
Power/Toughness/Critical Damage
All of the new weapon skins are Account Bound. So you can choose which character to send them to.
There is also a change going into the current chest given exotic armors and weapons that will make them Account Bound and Soulbind on Use. So you can send those extra armors and things you get to your bank for your other characters.

I am sorry you are having trouble overcoming some of the encounters within the Fractals. Allow me to give you some pointers that might help you overcome your obstacles.
The Dredge Suit Boss, while being a bit beefy is not ‘immune’ to damage when he is not Superheated. He just takes normal damage during that time. The superheated buff lasts for quite a good amount of time, and allows for ample time to move him to the next bucket.. To achieve this easier.. have your team stay in the 180 degree arc you wish to go in. The bombs he throws can be reflects as well. If you have the ability to do such within your class.
As far as the Colossus, I assume you mean Cliffside, which the chest seal gave a team I was running with quite some difficult as well. So we developed a strategy.. We allowed 2 people to be the hammer switchers, and we clumped up to the left of the seal just outside of fire burn reach.. We would kill the heretics and then the hammer weilder would charge in, smack 4, then run back to the group and drop the hammer.. then the next guy would grab the hammer and do it again.. Then switching back and forth as stacks dropped for those two.. With the others running cover.. Talking with your group is the step to overcoming these encounters…
As for the Swamp issue as really the only thing I can tell you there would be to use a speed boost and jump often.

They are indeed a drop chance, not a 100% chance.
There is also a new MgF/Vit/Tuf in the Fractals. It’s called Wayfarer.
There will be a patch to address this issue.
Those who have the Exotics already will find them Account Bound when the change goes in.

The new dungeon is unaffected by the diminishing return system as it does not give it’s completion rewards in the same way that the other dungeons do.

The infinite waves will be fixed very soon. The end boss for path 2 will be fixed very soon. The loot stuff is currently being worked on as we speak and look for it to be coming along shortly.

The timing on the waves is currently a bit off. With a few tweaks, things will be running much smoother
The Buff to the Mark 2 golem was a bug that is being remedied.
Story Mode actually received a tiny nerf as the fire golem is much easier there now.
This is our intent.
Story Mode – Moderate difficulty for a randomly formed pick up group. Memorable moments of achievement and accomplishment when you and a group of strangers overcome a difficult encounter/boss.
Explorable Mode – Moderate difficulty for extremely organized and well versed players. Randomly formed pick up groups should find this content very difficult. Memorable moments of accomplishment and achievement when you defeat an exceptionally difficult boss/encounter.
His trick is actually really simple.
He does a close frost, and a far frost. He alternates between them.
Watch out for the turrets
The changes we are making to the loot drops for Explorable will be rolled into Story as well, so defeating Story bosses will give you items to help you progress into explorables easier. We want to make a definite progression from Story to Explorable.. Not create this weird separation of the two we have currently.
This boss is definitely exhibiting unintended behavior.
It is intended that he spawns his adds. Look for an update on him in the upcoming weeks.
Hey everyone.
We are looking into an additional reward system to add to bosses so that killing a single boss feels a lot more rewarding than it does right now. We are gathering data internally on it and will release information on it as it gets closer to being implemented.
Being stuck at the last boss and unable to finish the dungeon thus receiving now reward is a terrible feeling for any player, hardcore or casual. We are looking to remedy this.

Looking at these grenadiers they are indeed using a high modifier than was planned, I am currently working on reworking this area of this dungeon and making a few tweaks to some other areas of it as well.
Unfortunately due to how our patch process works, these changes will not make it in for several weeks.

Hello everyone.
The first boss you are talking about those adds are respawning on purpose. He spawns 3 adds on the left, and 3 adds on the right. Both of these sets are on an interval timer, so you have to kill them fast enough to have time to deal with just the boss before more come back.
The issue with the floor in the butcher room will be fixed with the next patch.
