I already love the idea of each race getting their own unique engineer look. Asurans would have the coolest looking backpacks, hands down ^^/

Just like when the balance guys of Anet said we could hit for 24k with 100nade combo from a random photoshopped screen shot on the pvp forum. Any engineer knew the screenshot was fake, yet they didn’t.

Is that where this 100nade nerf came from? I never heard about 100nades til someone said it was getting nerfed O.o

Very few people are going to make and main an engineer when they can roll a dark mage, a supreme elemental mage, a barbarian, a holy paladin, an torturing illusionnist, a master of the wild or an altaïr clone.

Iunno, being a Tinkering Engineer is just more interesting sounding than any of that, because it’s unique, and I’ve never done it before. All of those other classes have already been implemented in another MMO in some way or another.

Is it just me or do you have multiple orders’ gear (Whispers pistol and Vigil pants)? I didn’t think that was possible.

Through the secret “art” of Transmutation, you can gain any order gear as long as you have a character in that specific Order.

Oh ffffffs, whiney my azzura. It was a statement, that suggested i’ve seen any build pwn, you just need the skill behind it.

If you want an Instant Win build, Roll a Warrior or something. There is no such thing as pwning as an engineer based on the build alone.

This is sort of the build I use, i havent really gotten any complaints yet so that’s a start O.o

The Devs hate us too much to ever even consider something cool like this.

I’m getting predator on my engi now that i have quip. I switch enough in combat where you’ll notice it in combat, but not too much. and honestly i kind of like not using legendary constantly, the noise does start to annoy you. trust me, i know <<< has Quip

So basically everyone would bring Turret Kit. Drop all turrets, swap to other weapons, continue as usual. That’s way OP. Imagine if you could drop all 5 turrets and then still have access to your guns and 2 other utilities.

After playing almost every class, I can assure you that the engineer is the ultimate class.
Many players tend to quit playing the class cuz :
1. Very weak at the lower level
2. Not as simple as other classes
Rather than pushing 1-3 buttons you actually have to swap kits for maximum damage.
Pve wise I’m playing as rifle engineer with grenades and bombs kits.
In spvp i am using bunker build and usually hit the 1st place.
Why would you want a weapon swap? You have kits as weapons and no cd on swapping them.
Dont ask to make the class easier… Just roll a warrior or something.

I get it, it’s ultimate, whatever. But those kits are taking up a utility slot… oen that we could use for something else. It’s unfair that it takes up a whole utility slot, when ele’s get a kitten load of skills from attunements AND utilities.

That is a very entertaining insight into the Engineer.
It should also be added that the Engineer is so bad in their imitation they fail to use most their skills effectively or even properly, causing self knockbacks, stuns and RNG.

I play my Engineer better than I play my Guardian. I tank better on my Engineer really. It’s just I can’t get into any other class. I love it too much. Honestly, why tell someone to roll another class? I think they already know that option is available.

But a Ele does have more skills than any other class while at same time having 3 stun breakers that also if traited can apply buffs.

Problem is Eng has to give up so much to get more than 5 weapon skills.

I never put three stun breakers on my ele, but engi does have 3 stun breakers if you look, no, they don’t apply buffs, but every class is different.

Andddd, ele does have the most skills out of anything, yeah, but that’s because they love Ele and hate Engi. what can you do when you’re the red headed step child?

Not to be a negative nancy on this post but all these types of post are waste of people time writing them. Devs don’t even staff enough people to handle mundane tasks like fixing tooltip errors. I just find it hard to think they would spend time on creating more complex code to anything. 90% of “class balance” changes are just changing numbers around.

Jump shot : I use ground target to choose where I land ; I land in a different spot than what I had chosen ; I teleport back to where i had originally placed my ground target once I move.

Hello, my schedule has recently changed and I find it very hard to enjoy myself when nobody I know is online all throughout the evening when I play. Just looking for a fun group of players who play all night until morning because of wonky schedules. Preferably on the Dragonbrand or Crystal Desert server would be ideal, but I’m open to possibilities. I’m very heavy into PVE/ / Dungeons and do WvW from time to time.

I’m going to risk making another post because I would like to see if there really are any guilds worth while for me on Dragonbrand.

I’m very much into PVE, only a little wvw (VERY little), And I would love to be able to run Arah, FoTm 20+, and other challenging dungeons more often. As well as get a good group together to do priest events and what not.

Hello, I’ve been trying to find a server and guild for awhile that does more Dungeons and events than Just CoF runs until their eyes are sore. I want a group of people that are willing to do Arah often as well as the priest events daily.
