To be honest, i personally would have like to keep you guys in our tier. gandara actually made the weeks more fun. I’m sorry you feel this way, just wanna say had good times fighting your server!

The first two hours has ruined the fun in WvW, i really hope this will be different the rest of the week.

Well to be honest why do you write disrespectful things if you do not want to offend somebody ? You do.

We do not run coordinated with other guilds but from time to time we meet on the battlefield. Sometimes unintended sometimes not when we come to help defending or attacking objectives.

I guess that´s the same for you, we also saw you run together with other guilds, TUP for example. So shall we also come to the Forums and whine about FURY not running alone bla bla bla ? No, because that would be untrue and offending.

I never wrote anything disrespectful, i just mentioned what i saw and that was multiple guilds who always engaged a fight together. But think of me what you want, have a good night

DTK and DW fighting together…. mhh i think this game was about killing each other. Why should i let DW “kill/die against” you alone when i have the chance to grab some loot and EXP O.o ?
Im on the field to kill kitten and have fun and when i see guys fighting against each other, you can bet a big fat bag of gold that i will jump into that.
GvG at mill would be the only thing i i would exclude from the “red = dead” rule.

but if you wanna do GvG style fight in same size, than plan them for yourself and don’t start crying on the general forum about getting killed on open field because you face to many enemy’s.

I think the most player of Ganadara, Aurora and Piken dont understand how German or French server are playing this game.
Its about community and that does means 300 player at reset on one teamspeak. 90 Guys one channel. With one goal. and that goal is not to be special or any other closeminded in-house kitten kitten kitten you would like them to do.

If you do like the game like that than it shall be so. I will not stop you and i will also not stop doing what i do. So you may make yourself familiar with that or you leave your server and drop down 2-3 tiers with all the other guys that wanna play solo in there sad little cave.

May in the end the Language barrier between the international server be the ultimate reason why no community drive emerges from alone. I don’t care. Just stop trying to force player into your playstyle because you think its the only regular and good and reasonable way to play this game. its not. Its a game and people play it as they want to. period.

Oh i’m pretty sure you guys or DW wiped us on their own before, and my respect to you when that happens. I just like to fight a guild head on, fighting two or three guilds at the same time is just not so much fun. Sometimes we might have some more numbers and sometimes you will, its about the challenge.

And don’t get me wrong i don’t mean to offend you, its just too bad we get targeted by multiple guilds at once in open field.

LOL myrmi, GW just admited they have 20 so + your 20 makes 40. plus the other RS guilds/pugs.

On the other Hand i told you about the situation with Pugs on our Server but most of you are just to ignorant to think about it.

I’m up for a GvG if thats where you headed? And i am being respectfull, i just name what i see. Before you guys went up a tier all that i saw was RS in towers and keeps just waiting. And i’m not directing anything to anyone in person, i’m directing it to the server so thats guilds and pugs.

But if you want to put us to the test, we’ll be in the field every day.

I know i will be hitting riverside everytime when leading. They will never leave the towers/keeps so just build cata’s and trebs, its boring but hey i want riverside to lose and push them all the way down to tier 5.

Interesting week. thanks to guilds for fights ecl, fear, fury, dius, cntk sloppykiss etc anyone i missed. This tier is too boring for us tho since we run 25 average. Not just only that it seems stale as hell at times of week very hit and miss. i prefer constant action 24/7. i felt at times running around 25-30 min before anything. Roll on the piken haters and butcher bay.

If you can both focus riverside next week that be great. You deffo dont want them getting keeps with 12 super ac like you know they love.

You guys hit like a truck and much respect for your skills. Sadly we struggeled with getting our numbers up this week. Hopefully next time we meet there will be some time for a GvG.

arena’s should be 25 vs 25. Especially with pvp gear it would make gvg’s much more interesting. Until something like that has been made we’ll be stuck doing it in WvW.

Had fun defending AG borderlands yesterday evening, had some good open field fights and managed to pull off some last minute saves of keeps/towers.

As allways FURY is looking for GvG’s, 15/20/25. Message me if you want to get something arranged.

A BIG thx to that FURY thief for the nice duels on RS border. I was just changing class to also test my thief vs you but you were gone But i also had to go to uni now ^^ If we meet next time maybe i should invite you to a group.

Duels sadly end on downstate .. yes i know its just because of the long distances from the spawn. But so my 50% dmg in downstate trait is useless .. its funny to see ppl with over 50% life die in spvp

You fought in equal numbers a fair fight in open field and you won, deservedly. You did that for the sake of it, for the thrill and excitement and the good taste a victory like that leaves in your mouth. Isn’t that so? Weren’t you looking for more afterwards?
This is what we’re looking for every night, at least we’re trying.

Currently it’s incredibly dull on GW2, and I think others would agree that the drama from these WvW “discussions” is quite entertaining.

And that’s the point.
It’s dull because of the way some guilds are playing the game. They’re playing it safe, simply throwing numbers at the problem.
They’re doing preemptive zerg sometimes when not really needed, forcing smaller groups out of the border. I guess it can’t be helped because some guilds are so huge and obviously can’t ask their people to stay home. But every guild big enough could always make 2 distinct groups, put more people in charge, share responsabilities, improve teamplay.
Some other guilds, slighty smaller, are too scared to move on their own and stick to each other or stay a mere 20 seconds away, ready to perform sandwiches on opposing groups. Nothing wrong with that, this is tactics 101. Except, each and every guild group is more often than not equal in number or bigger than their enemies. And they’re not willing to risk a one on one confrontation. They prefer to trample enemies with overwhelming numbers and perhaps show off their portal bombing and flanking skill: again, nothing wrong with this at all, I’m sure it brings tons of Badges and WPX. But, where’s the fun? where’s the thrill ? Isn’t the excitement of beating the odds, trying to outsmart bigger groups, surviving a no-win scenario worth the risk? Defeating your opponents in a fair fight, worth showing (as Fury did earlier in their “vs Yak” video) or die trying. And if you die in such a fight, nothing happens: you just come back and try harder, and if your opponents do respect you, you’ll find them waiting for you, again on their own.

Now, many people stated this is just a game. And perhaps your way is the way it is meant to be played. But this is a very dull game indeed. If I wanted to hang out with my buddies, I’d go for a beer with them. If I wanted to grind hours in a routine, I’d make sure I’m getting paid. I for one believe you’ve not really played Guild Wars unless you have at least tried to do what we try to do on a daily basis. Ask Fury guys about their fight: a mere 3 mins worth much more than HOURS of “supply camp defense”.
I’m trying not to sound preachy and I know I’ve failed but, please don’t say this game’s dull, because you want that way, and you’re doing nothing to make it better.

Thank you for your kind and wise words. I absolutely agree that fights like in the video are the highlights of my WvW evenings. I miss the old days where you would roam the borderland, capping stuff and constantly looking over your shoulder for that guild who might sneak attack and catch you off guard. These days that feeling is gone, atleast for me it is. Blobs are constantly being tracked, since its hard to miss.

FURY has grown, in skill but also in numbers. We have tried to split up in two smaller groups in the past only to be swallowed by overwhelming numbers. i am all for trying it again to get back to more equal fights, or even fighting groups that have bigger numbers to put ourselfs to the test.

At the moment i am enjoying only two things WvW has to offer: repelling large forces in choke positions(mostly in keeps) and doing GvG’s. I miss the fights in open field like we had with Yak in that video, i really hope we can get back to those kind of fights soon.

I still have some footage i recording during the “old days” when fighting XxX, more equal numbers and better fights. Like i said before, we grew in numbers with dedicated people. Its not strange for us anymore running 30+ on any random event. I know you guys don’t do GvG and prefer random open field and i respect that, i would have liked facing you in exact even numbers to have an epic battle again

Fact is, AG has known better days. Its not the pugs fault or the guilds’, also defending our stuff is not entirely about numbers. It has been proven before that keeps/towers can be defended properly while being out manned. Using scouting, siege, choke points to your advantage can win you allot of battles.

In my opinion, we as a server have not stepped our game up the same as BB and Gandara have. Props to both servers for the progress you made compared to the other times we faced you.

Like mentioned before, AG has been going through a bit of community drama lately and personally i think it does have a small influence on our strength in WvW. Our prime time and night coverage is pretty good since its the prime time of most of our guilds. Daytime coverage is still a problem with us, we do have people running around but lack the coordination we have during prime/night.

Congratulations on the win BB! I have enjoyed this week allot and it was much fun fighting BB and Gandara.

Well i wasnt one of those guardians, i’m at work writing boring reports. Just wanted to say that the JP is not excluded from pvp’ing. The same way me, and plenty of other players get overrun by bigger groups. Live with it and take out your anger on the next enemy you come acros

JP violance can be fun but also annoying. At the end the JP has been placed in WvW for a reason, fight to get to the top.

I remember last week i was with 2 others in the JP being camped by allot of BB, on our way up we came across a few gandara and together we made it to the chest. Was pretty fun!

Then as you apparently don’t like nemesys why keep bugging him and belittling XxX who have done a lot to integrate themselves into our community if you don’t like their play style?

Educate yourself, this nemesys is the one who started drama, who was QQ’ing about “oh you had 4 more people then we did, thats why you beat us! wehhhh wehhh!” or “wehhh i saw another guild tag during that fight, you all teamed up on us! wehhh!!”

Doing this, next to talking trash about FURY and other AG guilds, we’ve grown a bit annoyed by his big mouth and the lack of backing it up with actions. Now i don’t care how they are within your community and it has nothing to do with this.

For the folks having a go at XxX. You’ve routinely said in this thread about respect and how wonderful your communication between guilds is.

XxX don’t do GvG, they have their play style and they’ve said if you wanna have a go, come at them while they’re running on a BL. Yet none of you have respected that you’ve resorted to petty comments aimed at the guild in question.

English isn’t their first language and I respect that they do attempt to communicate with the server at large even though they might struggle in doing so.

If you want to face of against them, then use your ‘excellent’ communication skills to track them down and have at it, that’s all they’ve said. You want the face off? Work for it!

Suppose I could sit and waste 4 hours of my life confirming what i see in the game every day the past week but i have better things to do.

Hate to tell ya 2.10 we are fighting the lordsroom of a tower, lead by FURY commander.

Might have been a different time you clicked, but like a said: We run seperatly and we sometimes combine our forces for some towers/keeps for example when there are 40+ defenders and its all sieged up, thats called tactics and communication, constantly running with a blob is not.

Not even going to waste more time taking about this, don’t know if you’re just that ignorant or subborn. Have fun during the rest of the matchup!
