tough luck pal, this game doesn’t like the traditional farming for loot thingy ala runescape grind

i wished there was an avenue for people who like grinding at a spot though… and for the loot not to be 2 blues 1 green, junk and a few mats…

i wished the loot could be real loot like top tier mats, exotics etc but these are so rare

i wished stats were as easy as old games like runescape.

big numbers don’t mean anyhting, nowadays stat numbers seem to be pulled out from the rear…

it would’ve been great if numbers were simplied like make it like 100 hp or something instead of 21346 hp

so that one glance i know say my build has 70 power, i know i sacrificed 30 points out of the max possible for strength etc…

Why anet why? why do you have to input an anti-fun system in your league format. you have a format that takes away players’ points when they lose. this type of reward system is both negative in nature and discouraging.

Instead, you should put in a ‘rise slower’ system when people lose so that they still get something out of their playing of pvp, like the system you have now. At least with the current system, i can still grind out rank points while losing.

and to compile problems, the legendary backpack which looks times better than the fractal legendary one, is only obtainable when we reach the legendary tier? wut?!

Many people are still thriving in eotm without the need for TS and i must say that the fights in EOTM are much more fun than in TS “guild groups style”.

Few WvW players think that EoTM is real WvW.

If you want to give WvW players EoTM, thanks but no thanks. You can keep it.

Main problem that my solution solves, 24h coverage issues. now state the 3 problems it will lead to.

Dear zackie. I was writing that over my smartphone, hence the mistakes you call “half baked effort” that i’m so proud of apparently. He asked for help on forum not on yt or anything else. That’s what forums are for. So i expect he expected a written reaponse. I tried my best to explain it. So i responded. In regards to server identity, its not the identity thats the most important part. Its the community around that identity. Today, we have server size communities. But they arent really that big, are they? No, because WvW player counts are comparably few on the server. In the middle of primetime, our TS could have as few as 40 peeps in the pug channels. Thats for all borders, fighting T1 servers.

Good samaritans host these communities. Anet doesnt care, they dont host communities. They shut down the WvW matchup forum. Server pride is not a thing for them, so if EoTM would become baseline, these good samaritans would have to host 500+ pug players. And thats the low end. Our TS also has like 50 guild channels and various others, which means that guilds can join each others channels and be a true community. With all servers smashed together we are talking a TS so big you could see 5,000+ players on it. Good luck managing that. Anet could do it easily, with their own servers… But as I said, they arent going to.

The end result would be that guilds go back to their own TS and pugs have to read what the commander write in say, like how they commanded in the medieval times.

Sw is part of the map in Maguuma Wastes, go northwest area of Brisban Wildlands just at the edge of the map. Once you are there, you will see there are 4 fortresses that needs to be defended from mordrem in order to acivate major event where ypu have different lanes with players and enterances to bosses. Every boss has different strategies to defeat them so juat follow what everyone is doing you’ll underatand it quick enough. If your map manages to beat all the bosses, you get excess to large chest, along with some loot, you’ll get a key that opens another chest in labirinth. Labirinth in also in sw, and it’s kind of mini game, you can unlock big chest in the middle of it and then hunt little chests trought labirinth while running from unkillable scary mordrem dogs

Second thing you need to know, by doing eventa on the map you gain crests, sw currency and with them you can buy keys (used to open hidden chests scattered all over the map) and also you may get shovels and with them you can reveal hidden chests with loot.

Most profitable thing you can do is sw chest run, bring around 40 keys per run, and find a map with people doing it (via lfg) but usually after killing vinewrath bosses chest farm follows. That means people bring their showels and dig out chests (and the leader usually with a tag knows locations of all chests) and everyone can loot it. You can see on the map when somebody dug out the chest because you’ll see that red flashy location ping like in pvp when somebody calls location.

to be honest, the marketing campaign for gw2 HOT should have been : announcement XPAC , 1 week later, BAM its out.

change shield4 altogether , perhaps take the blocking skill/animation of the mace and use it as shield4

then the next question is, what do you pair the shield with? you are taking a group weapon (shield) to pair with either the sword(single target), scepter (single target) or mace( a little groupish).

which means the only viable option is to go mace shield (tough luck for all those holy-light-bringer flame-searing might-wielding knight wannabes… no sword shield for ya)

and finally if we want to see what it is used for

for small scale pvp/wvw : there are better options in focus and torch. theres a reason why everyone runs sword scept focus torch medi guard
for large scale wvw : there are better options in hammer and staff or greatsword.

so it seems like the shield is just for aesthetic purposes

We’ve seen so many cavaleries and break bars in the beta and there should be a class with a break bar. I think the warrior gets a mount and with the mount he gets the break bar. Maybe as elite skill or as class mechanic, don’t know.
