I want dueling in the gear im wearing in the zone im wearing it in. I have wanted, since launch, to be able to fight my own guildies in organized duels so that we can teach each other how to improve against our respective classes, or try out new builds in a safe place against people who will let you practice on them without disrespecting you.

PvP doesnt cut it for this, because it lacks build diversity with the restrictive amulet and rune system.

I say no because it is an annoyance for newer players with low cash and like me who sometimes only has an hour to play, running around will consume that whole hour. Having more players in the world doesn’t make a difference if their only motive for their play time is going from point A to point B. Movement speed in GW2 isn’t very fast neither. I have the money where it isn’t a bigger deal now but for newer players it is annoyance.

I created and tested an f2p account. Fact is:
- F2p accounts can buy AND SELL a lot oft items (even some exo items) in TP.
- f2p bots can wash their gold via TP (means f2p accs HAVE multiple possibilities to geht items and gold to other accounts!)

Sadly I’m not at home right now and don’t recall if some runes/sigil were tradeable. I will try it in about 2 hours if noone else responds^^

For fractals you only have to be lvl 80, which is a few days, and from there you can get to a point quite fast where you need the AR.

My suggestion is that F2P players should get login rewards once they complete their dailies.

I know a lot of people don’t agree with it, but I really want F2P players to have access to laurels in some form, so that they actually can get Ascended Amulets or do Ascended Crafting. I had some people ask me if F2P players could still get Best in Slot gear and compete with paying players. My answer to this was “Mostly yes, but…” and I think it would be more in line with the games core design philosophies if the answer could be a simple “yes”.

I completely understand the need for a restriction of the login rewards, as it would be highly exploitable for people with tons of accounts and the current restrictions do a great job at that. I just think that tying it to dailies would really not be exploitable anymore, at least not more exploitable than running short dungeon paths on multiple accounts. You could also tie the login rewards to the completion of a higher number of dailies like 4 or 6. This would also mean that F2P accounts would first have to level up a character a bit to be able to get login bonuses, as new accounts start out with only access to 3 dailies.

Also I’m aware that you get laurels through achievement chests, but those are so few that you can’t really use them for ascended amulets.
