and with the hot fix and use only for 80 ish character they closed this exploit or better say they stopped players to use an unintented way to get ca$h shop content (BLC keys) ingame

i expect that ectos now drop even far deeper in price soon.

If you go to Permanent Bank Access, set it on day, make the graph spread out some and check the time you can see that it’s going along at about 8 or 9 supply until the patch hits and then supply drops to zero over the course of about 24 minutes. No Dev quote really needed for those willing to look first.

You’re saying that the TP graphs are wrong? They are inaccurate in how they collect or show data? Or you believe that the Devs can’t see the movement of any items they choose to see. Or you believe that Chris Cleary was lying to hide manipulation of the bank access (and how would ANet benefit from that instead of taking action against manipulators instead?). Or maybe you believe ANet is both lying and changing the data to hide their lies?

Well if you believe that, why not make a thread on it because that’s pretty important game information.

The graph isn’t wrong, it literally reads as if there was manipulation. You can watch like 5 bank accesses literally disappear off the TP like a day before the patch hit.

I’ve found the Bell Choir is fantastic for me. I made between 25-30 gold last night just from doing Bell Choir. I did that for about a half hour. Granted I also got the personalized presents too, it was still much worth. I also REALLY enjoy doing bell choir. Like…. more than I should enjoy it.

you “spend” them by unlocking your elite specialization. Press H for Hero Panel and unlock/spend your extra Hero Points there. Thats what Colin mean. There is NO vendor atm or something else beside to level your elite.

I spend more time in the old maps than the new and I see plenty people about everywhere. The new map reward system is quite good for bringing people to empty maps, I think. Never seen Straits of Desolation as populated as this week.

250 is too low. I have 9 characters (including the revenant I created with the HoT launch).
At 250 I can have all but the rev fully done within a day which is far too easy.

They are alternate play style, they are no more elite than any other extra trait line with a new weapon. Continuing to refer to them as elite is a misnomer and propagating the fact is just getting asinine at this point. Unlocking them should be an accomplishment yes, but no more so than unlocking your other trait lines/weapons/utilities IMO.

Had to quote myself here.. if you want to call them elites so be it, but honestly they are just an alternate way to play the class.

This is what they told us when they announced the shards of glory, that they would be replacing half of the TCharges with them. Also, they aren’t useless, they are for legendary crafting and a source of income for PvP players who aren’t planning to craft. It’s currently a bug that they’re account bound.

ANET’s decision will be based purely on how much the fiasco affects their bank account.

They already have our money so they won’t give a heck. Someone posted on another thread that they can’t (more likely won’t) uncouple HoT from our base account to issue a refund. They’d deactivate our core account that we’ve been using for 3 years to give us a refund. So, I don’t believe any of us are going to give up our accounts we’ve invested thousands of hours into for the refund.
