I created my first character the day Gw2 became available after having a collectors edition pre ordered
I was in the 3 day early access when this character was created.. he has not been deleted ever
and yet my account only shows 1,094 total days on reccord
the 3 early access days have been taken off my total playtime for some reason..
has this happened to anyone else? kind of ****ed about it since I gotta wait 3 more days for stuff I should already have

i also have 1094 days cause the game counts the excact hours on the day you created your char . in a few hours it will be 1095 days

Nah. There are too many players who haven’t gotten the dyes vs the rate of players hitting their 3 year birthday. New players may not want to wait 3 years to get a dye. Or if the selection of the exact dye is still RNG based, they may not get the dye they want. And the dyes are account bound so it won’t affect the price that way.
On the opposite end to that, new players can’t afford to pay 1k Gold for a dye. Which is why I said RIP luxury dye market. Dyes will still be sold, yes. But it won’t hit such high prices due to the free account bound selection.

each race starts from their homecity and fights for control over territories. races get bonuses for territories controlled.
introduce a criminal system. killing people who ain’t pvp-willing in open world gets you criminal points. to many of such points throws you in jail. you can break out of jail and there will be bountys placed on you which people can take up and get rewards.

Sry to say that but you HAVE adaware on your pc : LavasoftTcpService.dll definitly is AdAware, scan your pc again and delete it

I think that the Gw2 reddit has more viewers and active posters which may be why they tend to post there first. Most Anet posts there end up getting linked back here anyway. Just my speculation.

Just wanted to pitch in and say that Danikat’s response is excellent and is correct- you can’t get an account rollback unless your account was hacked.
I don’t think it’s a database/memory/history issue though, but more of a CS time issue.
If CS told players they could get characters un-deleted and account rollbacks almost whenever, a lot more time would be spent on avoidable problems. Moreover, people would use it as a safety-net and take the consequences of their decisions less seriously. E.g.
“Oh well, if I chuck all of my money into the mystic forge and don’t get anything good, I can ask for an account rollback using excuses X, Y and Z”
“I’ll delete this level 80 character and make a new class- it doesn’t matter if I don’t like it because I can get my old character and stuff back anyway”

I don’t think me or op were playing the tp game. We were trying to get skins we’ve been trying to get a long time. Don’t even try to pretend you wouldn’t be complaining either if it happened to you. Every single person would complain if they’ve been saving and saving for months, then loses all that gold on an item they could of got free.

We have one guy who has gotten an ascended every week on at least one guild missions, while the rest were lucky if they got an exotic once every 2 months.
