Guild Wars 2

This is the only game that is constantly crashing on me and I have no idea why. It freezes, then crashes, then gives me the error report.

Not if you don’t count ascended gear. Honestly, there is no rush. The current living story event even levels you up to full 80 so you don’t have to worry about missing out on anything in the mean time. Enjoy the game and play at your own pace.
Just ignore the elitist who claim that you need the best possible gear to do anything.

After the whispers I have been getting, I probably should have put that I am on Gate of Madness. I am looking for a PvX guild (Not WvW) so I do not have to transfer.

Don’t ruin it for the players who like the armor. I don’t see this kind of complaining on Tera Online or Scarlet Blade :/

I really hope they do not cave in and change the armor. I think people are being too sensitive. Some people like revealing armor (I like it) while some don’t. I don’t understand why they should remove it though just because some people feel that it shows too much.

By that logic, they should remove all of the armor that I feel is not revealing enough.

I have no shame in saying that I love how the armor looks on females. I only wish you could have your original skin tone and not the blue.

I am not trying to impress anyone. I know what I like haha.

I play to have fun and am looking for others who do the same.

Leveling, exploring, dungeon running, roleplay, and pretty much anything PvE.

I focus more on cosmetics than anything else so that is probably why I have 8 characters of different levels. I keep one 80 in case I need to do higher level content though.

Basically, I am looking for a guild that is active and just wants to have fun (and maybe teach me a little pvp :o)

Due to transfer costs, I won’t able to WvW with ya but we can still do everything else!

Note: I don’t want to be just another number in a large group. I want to be part of a social community where everyone feels like they belong

I usually make a ton of Asura characters but whenever I make a Norn or Human I always make them black I love using my own skin colour.

How do you fire the cannon? Skill #1 is empty for me but I have #2 and 3 available? Do I need to do something first?

There are glitches to get to secret areas, but I am not driven to find any of them. For example, I watched a vid on my servers forums where a group of people portal glitched from CM exp to near the champ spider in Queensdale, fell thru the terrain, and found an area right under the hunters lodge. There was some wierd room with different colored faces (of the same person) and a cat peek-a-boo’ing from some elevated crevisse (looked like a staircase). I’m sure there is a secret room in AC exp but havent been motivated to look for it.

Someone took me there before. The faces spin and there are a ton of trippy rooms that you have to go through in the right order. It is so crazy!

Hmm I will look into that more. I actually got this information from somebody after I asked in a tech website. They even linked me to this neat little chart that shows how the graphics card on this list works on BF3 on different settings. I watched a youtube video also where they say it will run well on BF4 also. (dunno if i am allowed to link things)

I am guess that if it can run BF3 and soon, BF4 good then it MUST work well for GW2 on the highest settings.

Anyways, my last question is….. Can I upgrade this computer in the future? So if I need more “power” for games in the coming years.

Hmm, okay I see. So huge zergs are going to be an issue regardless but will still be playable at least.

But it would still be able to handle any of todays games though right? I would like to begin to start playing some of the new games coming out this year.

Yeah I just wanted to get a gaming pc that could run the latest games on high settings well with my budget of $1000 or maybe even $1100. This stuff is just so confusing to me so I am trying to find the easiest way to get the best bang for my buck. I guess the having so many players in WvW and things will normally hurt most computers anyways. I didn’t know that so I just assumed a good computer would be able to handle that with no problem.

Before you settle on everything, adjust your expectations. Even a PC that costs twice that budget is going to struggle in massive WvW/Boss battles because GW2 won’t take full advantage of all your CPU cores. For that price, you will be able to run the game on max settings with a smooth FPS most of the time, but in the situations you cite, there is almost no hope without alot of overclocking top end equipment. Sounds like it is not even worth the effort then. I was hoping I would get lucky and be able to find something easily but after hearing this, maybe I am just not meant to get a gaming computer until I am able to drop a few thousands dollars

Hey, I have been playing this game for a year with a pretty old computer. WvW is basically a slideshow for me during large fights so I feel it is finally time to upgrade. I want to be able to fight those huge world bosses and fight in giant WvW battles with a smooth framerate on the highest settings.

Is is possible to buy a gaming PC to handle these moments easily with a budget of $1000?
(I have done alot of researching but building a PC is very difficult for me to do)
I also want this new PC to be upgradable (Dunno if all desktops can do that).

Do any of you have a PC that cost $1000 or less that runs this game easily on the highest setting during the most intense moments? I would really like to buy one ASAP.

Yeah agree to an extent, but surely they could just reuse existing skins – a quick fix

They did this and go back a month or two and see what happened. People complaining that they want compensation in gems or their gold back for human t3 armor. Needless to say let’s not re use skins and have this fiasco over again.

That was only a problem because they made a cultural set of armor available to different races.

A few patches ago, they changed the rifle turret from bleeds to vulnerability. Horrible thing, I know… Turrets are really fun in PvE and I love using them.

Oh and I also love halo wars. As simple as those controls are, I get endless hours of fun from that game still (Love spawning a ton of sniper jackals!!)

I personally do not care about that particular change but they really should stop messing with items that people actually pay for(gem store).

lol good luck cutting off players from their easy money. There is no way those players would ever support this. They want their gold/items as fast as possible with as little effort as possible.

I like the idea but 99% of the players who join the champ train will hate any idea that threatens their fast and easy income. :P

One good thing about this though. I tried buying a ton of them for the first time in hopes of getting lucky. After losing all of my gems and gold, I have finally decided to stop spending money on gems for this game.

I am happy to say that I have finally broken my bad habit of spending money on this game

Chief Xoctic says that the Cuatl tribe is always trying to steal their supplies and never want to get their own.

But come on… You would think that they would be able to spare a few supplies considering they have so much! They probably already wiped the jungle clean of supplies by now. The Cuatl tribe is probably desperate by now and have to resort to stealing. I don’t think we should help them anymore.

And the pile just keeps growing!

Makes me wonder if there are other favors we have done that might have been the wrong thing to do.

Hey, I am looking for a fun PvE guild in Tarnished Coast. I would like to do anything from exploring to dungeon running but I am not very skilled. I have tons of characters (Mostly Asura) and I am always creating outfits (Cosmetics) and just having fun.

Hopefully I can find a small-medium sized guild. I do not want to be just another number in a large guild :/

If you are willing to tolerate my horrible fighting skills then let me know here or in-game.

Oh and I would also like to eventually try some pvp but I am going to need a lil help before I can actually fight :P

I am a big fan of the T3 shirt but not so much with the rest of the set. The helm is great but I would like to be able to see my hair rather than being completely bald.

This is just one of my Asura but this one has a mix of cultural armor.
All of my light armor Asura characters use the T3 shirt though :p
