It just froze twice in the last 5 minutes.

The event log says gw2 stopped interacting with windows and was closed.

It seems like a lack of passion to me. I mean they should care about each race equally no matter the circumstances. First time I ever noticed something like this(I am sure this happens in other games).

How do I wipe and reset my drivers? This issue started before I tried overclocking.

I tried it once but I was afraid of ruining it so I turned it off. I do not alter my things at all anymore.

I know that my cpu is not very good but I already addressed this in a different post I made. Sadly I was convinced by the store owner to get this instead of the I5 that I wanted.

Task Manager will list it as not responding.
Support had given me a ton of solutions to try for over a week but nothing had worked.

Hey! So everyday at random times, this game will freeze on me (permanently). The only way to stop it is to start task manager and force quit the game.

I do not have this issue on any other game(Modded Skyrim, Planetside 2, Vindictus).

I have gone to support and have tried every solution they have thrown at me but nothing has worked.

I was hoping that maybe someone else might have a solution.

Drivers are up to date and everything.

BTW, everything else runs fine when game freezes.

I think people are missing the point here. Repair canisters are portable.

No matter where you are, you can use them. So they still have value. That is the whole reason why they exist. Nothing has changed.

Thanks for all of the responses. I am just gonna let it go because I do not really understand most of this. I learned my lesson though and I will have to make better decisions in the future.

So I’ve noticed that in Guild Wars 2, gold spammers prefer using whispers to advertise. I can only guess it’s to deter people from reporting them but I don’t know. It certainly doesn’t deter me.

Anyway. I was wondering if ArenaNet might think about introducing an option to block whispers from people who you haven’t whispered first and aren’t on your friend’s list. Would certainly help discourage Gold Spammers from whispering us.

How are you going to make friends in the first place if you can’t be the first whisperer? Gold sellers are certainly annoying but I’m not sure that cramping social interaction is the answer.

You don’t need to whisper in order to make friends.

I had the store owner build it for me. He is also the one who suggested using amd instead of the i5. This was my first time and he said that the computer would run better with the amd.

I originally had a list of parts that I wanted(I had help from TomsHardware). The store owner who built it for me explained why I should make the changes that he suggested.

Now it seems like I made a huge mistake. I don’t really have the money for new parts which is why it took alot of explaining from the store guy to convince me to change what was on my list. Now I feel silly.

I have recently purchased my first gaming computer but it does not seem to be doing so well. I wanted to ask if this was a good setup for this game.

Sometimes it feels like my old laptop is running at the same speed as this computer.

I know it is not the best but am I expecting too much? I thought this game would run well on max settings with this computer.

They should not alter items that you buy in the gem store. It makes you less likely to risk spending money again because you are unsure if the items you pay for will change into something that you did not initially purchase.

No. Restricting someone’s playing time or what they can do is wrong, no matter how small the amount of people you think it would affect. It is still wrong. Your time is not more valuable than anyone elses time.

Seriously? Of course she is. Imagine how dumb it would be if her hair being hidden because of the helmet was actually a part of the lore…

The only reason everyone else is bald when they wear the helmet is because Anet is just too lazy to design the hair to work with the helmet, so they took the easy way out and just made you bald. This is true for most helmets and hoods in this game.

I would like more revealing armor but the GW2 community cries so much about that at such a level that I have never seen before. That is too bad

I love making groups for casual runs. Everyone is always helpful and fun. Whether we die or not, we always learn and have fun along the way.

The funny thing is when I always get one speed runner who instantly joins without reading my group description. When they get mad at someone who dies, I tell them to either be nice or be kicked. They usually start behaving after that.

I did orr solo with my ranger. Let the pet tank mobs while you grab skill points. Very easy

I run a condition build and do amazing in pve (Love my 25 stacks of bleed and amazing survivalbility). Sadly most won’t run with me lol. I love my build and I am patient so I will usually just wait until I finally find some players who won’t complain about my build :P

So I have realized that most players can’t deal with anyone not running the perfect build and playing how they want to play. I can’t even finish a dungeon since nobody wants to run with a condition warrior :P

So I am looking for a PvE guild that accepts all kinds of players. I like to play for fun. I mostly focus on cosmetics and my builds are based on what I enjoy using the most.

If there is a guild out there that is full of people who play for fun then please let me know. It is okay if you don’t win every battle

My home is GoM but since this is for PvE, guesting works fine.

All the gold and materials needed for a legendary weapons goes towards my character’s appearance, gems, and everything else. I don’t see the appeal of legendary weapons.

I just did a dungeon run at level 47. It was a casual run with random players, none who were level 80. I am a condition warrior :P

We died sometimes but for the most part, we had a ton of fun just playing through the dungeon and discussing how to take on each boss and laughing when someone made a deadly mistake.

I know that my way is not the fastest or the most rewarding, income-wise, but I play for fun so it does bother me. I love hearing people thank me for not kicking them or for reviving them when they mess up.

I have nothing against “Zerker only”groups because I just don’t join them. I will however take in all of those players who does not want to be part of the zerker groups.

We may not be the fastest and we may not win all of the time, but we always have fun

No problem at all. They are cosmetic. I end up easily buying them all since I love having easy access to such great armor skins

Run conditions if you are low level. I am geared for condition damage and duration on my low levels and they kick butt

My new desktop crashes daily with this game. My old laptop never crashed so I am wondering if this is an issue with my computer?

I have a gtx 770 with an amd 4130 quad core processor
8 gigs of ram
windows 7 64 bit

Funny thing is that my old laptop was half as powerful and it never crashed, even with max settings.

I already sent a ticket in but so far no luck.

I also play games like Planetside 2 at max settings, and Skyrim(Modded to the extreme) with no issues at all. I am hoping that maybe some players out there have a solution for me.
