I was standing on the north wall of Hills and the archer that stands in front of the gate just takes off. She runs down the hill and never comes back. I never see her attack anything either. I never see any of the other npc guards do that so I just thought that was kind of odd.

I can admit that I should have taken notice of the guild and whatnot. Wish I did have some recording equipment during the time but oh well. It is just really annoying when cheats are used and you can’t do anything to stop it. Ah well, I cooled off now.

Yeah because I can post pictures of a mesmer instantly jumping onto the tower wall. Then if I do post a picture of her on the wall then you can just say that they were already in the tower so why would I waste my time huh? Yeah keep defending your need to use hacks. We are aware so don’t act surprised if one of you gets banned. I doubt it though…

I use actual money now but I don’t think I did for the item I lost so maybe you will get lucky and they will help you out.

I will tell you one thing though. I will never make that mistake again. Honestly IDK why things have to be soulbound in the first place. Account bound should be the only way items are bound to you.

Yeah it sucks but you can try submitting a ticket. Let me know if it does work though because they denied my claim, even though I had proof. They said there is nothing they can do about that type of situation.

Yeah the rifle blast had to have been from steal as I have done that with my thief. Not sure about the hammer though unless enemy NPCs are not restricted to certain weapons based on their class. I am not sure though.

I hope I never see mounts in this game lol

Asura everything. I just love how I can make some real fun outfits with them. I call this my techno Asura :P

Quick story:
So I was fighting this veteran bandit and it was pretty fun. She starts firing at me so I run in close with my tool kit but then she pulls out a hammer and knocks me down then switches to her daggers and uses that spinning skill that drops a ton of bleeding damage. I move back and fire on her from a distance but then she dodges and charges me with her hammer again. This time I block her knock down skill but then she uses overcharged shot from a rifle that she pulls out of nowhere and knocks me back again.

I eventually killed her but I was wondering if there are more enemies that fight like that. It was really fun since there seemed to be some variety in the fight. I have been playing for over a year now and I do not remember many other enemies besides bandits that fight like that.

Here are a few of my characters. All I do in this game is dress them up lol.

Sounds like a plea for attention lol but I understand. One time in Fable 2 someone thought I was a girl and gave me a million gold. I can see why you want everyone to know you are a girl gamer haha.

No issues for me. I use Firefox and I am usually automatically logged in.

Note: This is the only site I use that automatically logs me out after a certain amount of time passes when I am not using the site. Though it takes a few days for that to happen.

Great Idea. Honestly though, I doubt they are going to let us upgrade. If they even make another book, it will probably be a second item we have to carry x.x

This is pure exageration . I have a very poor computer and delayed skill lagg and it never bothered me . I’ve ran so many dungeons that most of the time I already know when and what to dodge. And if your computer is terrible you must plan even before it happens. Unless you have a lower fps than me you shouldnt complain . My fps between 11-18 depending on the dungeon.

Just because you enjoy bad frame rates and lagg does not mean that others should be okay with it. What kind of argument is that?

I think the Queensdale champ train is damaging to the game in terms of new players.

They can do Orr. They can do Frostgorge. Instead they want the easy way by doing a tutorial zone without having to think for themselves. And when someone new comes along playing the game as intended, people jump down their throats.

Now, that’s incredibly off-putting and a terrible first impression for new gamers. I wouldn’t be surprised if the champ train in Queensdale gets destroyed by increasing the times for them to spawn by a lot.

I agree. I think it is terrible that players think they can set their own rules for other players. There is no rule in the game saying that you have to kill the Queensdale champions in a certain order. Shame on any player who yells at another for not following the stupid champion train. I hope the champ train gets destroyed soon so players don’t fear to enjoy the game how they want to.

I have tried to do the same, but anytime I try to, any map Im on..I seem to be alone. No random adventurers, no one completing that event to re-take the town.

Feels like a single player game. So how do you do it? Or..do you not mind being alone in these zones?

ATM I just guest to Tarnished Coast since there is a large PvE community. I usually get lucky and run into players there. I would recommend that you do the same if your server seems empty. I am sure there are other servers that also have a large PvE community but I have not looked yet.

Nice to see that I am not the only one. Honestly, this is what keeps me here haha. It is also why I can constantly level new characters the normal way without crafting and farming 24/7.

I’m not gonna nominated anyone but I just wanna share that I’ve gave 10g to a new player the other day. I was doing my daily in wayfarer foothills and this new player starts to follow me around so I decide to help her on quest and killing champions. And gave her her 10g just because I know how hard it is when I was new.

oh yeah for sure. I mostly do WvW atm and defend our borderlands. I should have stated that I meant PvE.

Little Story:
So I made yet another character(engie) and started exploring queensdale with him. I decided to take my chances and take on the veteran ettin even though I was 3-4 levels below. Another player joined me and we had to keep him busy with turrets while we took care of the other ettins that kept spawning. A whole lotta dodging, close calls, and healing just so we could get the skill point.
It was really fun though and I enjoyed the challenge.

I noticed that many players prefer to win as fast as possible by zerging bosses, using exploits in dungeons, and only allowing certain builds/gear(whether you enjoy them or not) in order to complete instances as fast as they can.

TLDR:
I was wondering if there is anyone left out there who still enjoys that experience of exploring areas or taking on challenges above your level where you are outmanned and you have to rely on that random player who just happened to walk by to help you overcome these challenges. No zerging, no exploits, and all fun.

Note: I am not a very skilled player but that just adds to the challenge. I have been playing for over a year and I still love to explore the lands and run into other players who are trying to take down that boss all on their own.
Wish I could at least find a guild that still does that.

When there are too many items, people complain that gems prices are too high ( with which I do agree so I like, for the change, no new items in gem store every week ), when there are too few ( like now ), people complain, as well.

Seriously, it’s good to have some pause with the new gem-only content added every week. The prices of gems drop down, which is good for most of the people. Let us breathe some fresh air.

Heck no. I buy my gems with actual money so the prices stay the same. I say bring on the new gems store items as much as they can.

Not even sure if such a thing exists on this server.

I mainly do WvW but I want to try some spvp and learn to become more skilled with my characters. I also do PvE/dungeons but GoM is usually dead in that area except for champ farming which I refuse to do(not enjoyable).

Note: I am NOT very skilled. I have been playing for a year and I still have trouble lol. Practice makes perfect though, right? I also finally downloaded teamspeak and purchased a mic so I can chat with others(have not done that yet though).

Last note: Above all else, I just want to join a fun and inviting guild. One that likes to joke around and just enjoy the game. If such a thing exists on this server then please let me know. I prefer a PM or in-game mail as I tend to forget to check this thread.

Just realized that I have been playing for a year and never seen the end of the personal story lol

My enemies in wvw won’t forget this little Asura as he emotes his way to victory.

Bought a new character slot just so I could use the new face. Now if only they could improve medium armor so I don’t have to keep buying that darn t3 coat :/

People are going to play how they want so they can enjoy the game. If you want to alienate half of your team because they are not playing how you want them to play then you are only hurting yourself lol.

I don’t use TS because it is annoying to me and I like to blast my own music. If I don’t see a blue tag then I do my own thing until one shows up or I see commands in the map chat like “This tower is being attacked! Rally here!” or “Somebody make sure the siege is refreshed”.

And besides, somebody has to recap all of those camps so you have supplies in your towers :P
