If u cant stack against a wall id rather take anoter warr. I honestly doubt that lighting hammer beats an axe warrior. Not sure if ele can stack vul or not though ,but when u have 3 warr u get the vull and might extremly quickly. If they nerf FGS, peace out eles, see u in the next meta lol.

This is EXACTLY the reason I don’t join those " 10k AP only" groups . Just look at your post , you said you wanted a fast run but your main choice of gear is not berserker. There is no fast run with cleric gear. I say cleric because anything that is not zerker in pve = cleric aka worthless.

Your post should be appropriate to your own gear\experience. If you do not have an optimal build for dungeons do not write fast run, because its not going to be fast and that would waste time of the people that actually look for speed runs.

If there a thing that should be done , its deleting those worthless achievemnts points from the game because it makes this wierd illusion of being a great player when in reality you just need to press 1111 everytime a new living story patch comes out to get those precious achievements points.

Turning off legendaries? Then we should be able to turn off exotics weapons aswell and armors. And maybe turning off everything just to see your own character and nothing else.

Warrior too stronkk . Plz nerf the following things : nerf our poor damage compared to FGS elementalists , nerf our poor defense since we cant hide behind reflects like a chicken, nerf our pets that we do not have. Thank you.

There’s a huge difference between elitism and efficiency aka farming. Asking for zerker only is not elitism but common sense . Asking for warriors only is elitism and its dumb since 2 warriors is more than enough.

Everybody should play how they want though . You can roleplay in a dungeon for an entiere day , just dont expect the others to carry you .

“Ascended gear drops” , the chances are even lower than a pre. I think crafting a superior tier of gear shouldn’t be forced. It’s not like it was a legendary. I’d rather buy from TP directly 200g\piece, wouldn’t be too bad.

ESO will be dead 2 weeks right after release , if I was anet I would be worried about a game that looks promising like Wildstar.

ESO is pretty much copying all the gw2 ideas but with a terribad class system and combat. First person mode combat is more than a joke for an MMo , seriously that game has no chance whatsoever. And to keep players playing we need an expansion that’s it. I dont care about legendaries after I finish makin mine , its a massive grind fest. Im 300g away from twilight and I promise to never make a legendary again unless they fix the way its acquiered, I put at least 150 hours in that legendary and a random noob can buy from the shop ? GG. Ive seen a 5 signet warrior below 500 AP with eternity…

@Silber, trust me they do indeed get carried. Sometimes I dont attack for like 10 secs just to see what’s up with their DPS and the boss is simply not losing his HP That means they are getting carried . When I lvled my second warrior in cof , I was switching at the end boss at 10% hp and when I came
back the boss was healing with crystals instead of losing hp.

I never had a soldier or cleric gear , so I have no idea how much dmg it does but omg it must be so awful , can you imagine 4 people attacking the flaming effigy and he is HEALING . No joke btw , im not trolling this is true story. It happened to me at least with 7 parties when I lvled 11 -80 in CoF.

Play How I want is an invalid argument for dungeons. You are joining a party with 4 other players and I dont think they should suffer because of you. Its not playing how you want , it’s getting carried how you want.

I honestly think that playing how you want is beyond selfish if you are playing where your presence actually matters. The only place where you should really play how you want is the groups that simply dont care . “Everybody is welcome , roleplaying and killing everything !!!!” This is a play how you want group but when somebody asks for efficient runs and you get a cleric staff guard it makes no sense.

And trust me those play how I wants dont wanna join those slow groups , they want the fast groups while being carried with their bad build.

Honestly if I was a guard and wanted to “support my party” I would just use the hammer and spam protection but NEVER full cleric and staff . God its so awful, its just ridiculous.

The problem is you are talking about 1 build . Sword\wh +GS+bullcharge . It’s not even a build its just a set of skills to run away. When a person gives up on a utility and a worthless weapon just to run away its his problem. Let them troll.

D\P thief , yes even after nerf can nearly achieve perma stealth. An engineer can fully spec for CC . A staff mesmers can create clones to a ridiculous level.
Etc… every class can troll you to the point you cant do anything and have to ignore them.

If a mace had the sword leap , yes then it would be beyond broken , but when an useless weapon has mobility , its not a big deal. And bullcharge… 40sec d i dont even know how u can complain about it.

Removing mobility from warriors would make them weaker than guardians. And just boring to play . Healing signet though , I agree is overpowered but the other stuff is fine .

If warrior gets mobility nerfed then I want stealth because thieves can stealth but warriors cant wtf? Mesmer has clones and not warrior?? The game most be unbalanced… and why the ranger has a pet ? It like fighting 2 people , looks unfair to me. Savage leap and hammer stuns ? If you mean the warrior has a sword on weapon swap he will deal no damage with it. There’s a huge trade off for mobility. If you run sword you sacrifice damage and cc for mobility. If you use bullcharge you sacrifice either berserker stance or stability.

Those troll – run-away warrs cant do anything trust me. Sword is the worst power weapon on a warrior. And dont forget warrior has no protection\clones\pet\stealth . We only have high HP and high regen. And greatsword mobility is easely countered with cripple\immob.

Those 3 classes is the same level of skill , it just depends on the phase. I never said your press sword 2 randomly on a mesmer but it still one button with no positioning required because it evades for a full duration regardless of your position .. Try to evade in a random direction with a warrior and see what happens. It’s just a fact. And I think most solo are done on warrior because warrior needs no group buff to achieve decent damage thats it. If a mesmer had perma fury and 25 stacks of might perma , we would see mesmers doing this stuff instead of wars.

If it’s so easy do it naked. Alot of things in this game are easy if you keep doing the same stuff over and over. And im pretty sure warrior is not THE easiest. It still takes skill at some point . Mesmers only have to press 1 button randomly without any positioning > blurred frenzy to evade everything. And guardians can avoid the hardest attack by just putting down a wall of reflect. And this guide is not for warriors its from a warrior poV. Dodging is not only for warriors and lupicus wont change his attacks against other classes….

I tryed that aswell .. also pressing multiple times but this skill dosent works properly if you hold it for too long or press multiple times. It’s the same thing with sword #4 . You have to press twice to trigger the second skill .

I was thinking of using a shield next time but I won’t get the 5% dmg bonus from the trait …

Main problem for me is the sword #5 dosent always works. Sometimes it blocks multiple times and sometimes it dosent do anything which is extremly frustrating in phase 2. Next time I try lupicus I will just autoattack with GS and whirlwind to escape until they fix this skill for those who have a bad computer. I havent succeded yet , only duo :S

Its *bearbow dude ( the master is always above the pet)… if it was possible I would kick the ranger but keep the bear which is way more useful. Nice solo though

For me it has been completly the opposite with eles. They blast condi remov in AC and use FGS. Im happy to have 2 eles in my group now . I started to hate on guardians more than rangers recently.

The worst groups I ever had were with at least 2 guardians. The typical wvw staff guardian pressing 11111 and “supporting”.

In PvE the best from the worst in my opinion ( pug)

I made a zerker party for AC with my buddy : " 80 zerker\melee only . In the middle of therun , the warrior asked the guardian what armor he was wearing because it looked cool . Guardian pings gear , its full cleric . I say , why joining a zerker group in clerics. Guardian says: lol u wouldnt even notice if I didnt ping. Me: omg I wish there was an \inspect . Guard: no , cleric guardian is overpowered but people like you dont know about it. Me : crying in a corner.

If you are not comfortable with a zerker build I’d suggest

Very similar to the meta build but less damage and more forgiving. The dec 10 patch didnt change anything about PvE builds though. Mostly hammer nerfs and UF trait which dosent affect any PvE build

Im sorry but if you are talking about spvp this build is not viable whatsoever or even roaming . Arenanet recently buffed DPS guardians and it became crazy , blocks-mobility-teleport-huge dps- great condi cleanse. Those are the guardians I struggle with . Their burst is incredibly high while having a great survability .

Note gw2 is a game with no dedicated support roles which causes all classes to go damage builds with support utilities in both PvE and PvP. Wasting 70% of your stats in boon duration and healing will only harm your team. And do you really think healing helps ? Poison and its already reduced by 33% , interupt and you are left with your terrible damage.

Im not an experienced guardian , in fact mine is only lvl 13 and i have played around 20 solo q’s with him and the most succeful games I had were with a damage oriented build while giving my allies boos and CC support..

Btw you said glass cannons are death to your build ? I would like to duel you with my warrior . He is knight\zerk and I destroy everything in wvw. NA server , Ill be online in 3-4 hours if u want.

Seriously man , guardian is such a powerful class but often poorly used by the players.
Anyway back to the topic , maybe you will find killing the "normal way " fun once but then you will get bored because of the lack of organisation . I suggest to play how you want through all the dungeons and if you are still interested change build to support your party the most aka full zerker with defensive utilities .

And for pvp , plz try knight\zerk meditation build and thank me later.

The funny part is cleric has never been viable anywhere , unless you build for a pure retaliation build and even then , a boon steal class can destroy you .

As many other people said and will continue to say . Make your own group . No stacking , cleric guardian only , killing everything and roleplaying .

I feel your pain, I always get kicked no matter how well I support my party . Full cleric armor and a shout build that heals for around 4k and insane CC with dual mace build. And I never go down , always forced to res those berserker who die in one hit and I’m the one who gets kicked. It’s absurd.

Yea 2500g is ok but 2700g is not ok . Why keep rising it ? It’s ridiculous , its going to be 4000g in a month then .

It should not take 45 min. That’s impossible unless 2 people are afk or either bearbows . 25 is the absolute max for p2-3 . If you wipe in p1 it’s just alooot of time wasted trying to skip the trash . Try to join a zerker party if you don’t wanna waste your time . Also you have 1,5 k hours on ele and havent rerolled yet? lol

Warr is the best class in gw2 , for solo or anything . Also best mobility , you can runn across the maps pretty quickly to lvl up.

Yea make the tokens tradable who cares , I get nothing from the mytic toilet while flushing exotics , Id rather sell them . I would be happy if they made those worthless tokens tradabe .

Also I support kicking 100% , if you got kicked you probably didnt deserve the reward anyway.

The path selling needs no restriction , its too late anyway , the reward system in this game is a huge mess already.

Dungeon master is a worthless title, I flushed it after arah p4 completition . You are right , the title can be bought which is lame, but I think selling dungeons is a great option if you want faster gold . And people would QQ if the most damage gets more reward , I would QQ aswell because I’m not gonna buy the fail ascended gear .

I always use ogre on my warr . It’s a nice dmg boost if you’re in soldiers. And the dog can pretty much counter any squishies . I remember it was hitting 1,5k on GC thieves

If they nerf Lyssa runes , I want the other classes elite to be nerfed aswell. Because basilik venom is pretty useless …..

Why would I stand in the aoe ? To defend a node maybe ?? If I lose the node , I lose at least 15pts while fighting in and out of combat . A class that can’t sustain a fight has no place in PvP . And if I go in stealth , I lose the point aswell.

I will wait till anet decides to do something about thieves, until then I"ll facerolll on my warr. And I never said if you do WvW you are bad , it’s just not the same situation in PvP. Wvw thieves can pretty much kill anything with 110% crit dmg \food\buffs . It may even be too strong in wvw. But in PvP nope, the only good build is S\D and it’s based on evades\teleports only. They need to make more traits and weapons for stealthless thieves.

I wonder if you know how to read lol . If you find the word stupid in any of my previous posts I will give you 100g. And I don’t do wvw , I do tpvp and thieves cant survive the AoEeven with stealth.

I agree with Obsdyth . Those zerkers are ruining the party, they could heal with a balanced cleric build but they are so selfish and think only about dmg . Obsdyth , dont listen to what those elitists say , make a ranger and suport your party with the brown bear for diffuclt bosses and use a mix of dire set too help with conditions and a cleric accessories to support with heals . Berserker is extremly bad , no heals and boom party wipes . If I was you I would just kick them immediatly , they will slow down the party with a selfish bersernoob build.

Just make a warrior and name him “Ranger” and use the longbow on weapon swap .

Btw my post is tpvp oriented , so for those who kill uppleveled nabs in wvw , yes thief might be strong to you . But can’t do anything in a huge aoe\condi spam which is the current pvp meta. I’m not trying to ruin the class but save it before it’s late. Or I as I said , .they need to add more options for those who don’t like stealth.
