Malchor’s Leap – Cathedral of Eternal Radiance – Lyssa for chest
Cursed Shore – Cathedral of Verdance – Melandru for shoes
http://dulfy.net/2012/09/08/gw2-templegod-karma-armor-sets/ reference i used
personally i think the the snowball game is definitely the best of the activities. after learning about the classes a bit and tossing some extra dodging in, you might fare a little bit better. that being said for purposed of obtaining the achievement scout is definitely the class to go. the scout period seems the be the most useful, followed by support and then heavy gunner. try to use terrain as cover more when carrying the present. dont forget to pick up the swiftness boon on the ground and spam your number 5 as necessary. if there is another scout next to you when carrying the gift, they can use 5 as well to stealth you which makes capping fairly easy.
personally i think crafting all of your exotic gear is the easiest way
likely one instance of each. they really aren’t that useful though outside the karma or magic find booster.
an alternate, maybe even easier way would be to enter the heart of the mists by clicking the cross swords icon at the top left hand side of the screen. if it’s your first time there there’s a brief pvp tutorial. afterwards there’s a portal inside leading directly to lion’s arch.
on ascended items only atm
i would play what you enjoy the most. i don’t think i truly got the hang of dodging until i hit the level 70-80 area and explorable dungeons and it was truly necessary to do. it sounds like you enjoy warriors, so you should stick to that. just know that you should practice your dodging since its a fairly important part of of pve and pvp

the skill you mentioned seems pretty straight forward. its one shot that does damage and inflicts vulnerability on the target. at the same time your pet gains swiftness. if your projectile goes through the appropriate combo field it will trigger a projectile combo finisher.
the explanation clarity are really on an ability to ability basis. for example: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chaos_Storm. the skill states “applies random conditions to foes and random boons to allies” and simply has a list of of boons and conditions
the first line of the skill generally explains how the rest of the skill description should be interpretted
its unlikely that anyone will take you unless you’re level 80. maybe you could find a guild, or other low level players,
leveling up while gathering, stops the gathering prematurely
guardian for versatility
its similar, but not exactly the same. its just lazy dungeon design all 5 of the events are going to seem very very similar
go fight jormag. dunno how many people are doing it these days especially during an even though
easiest way is to go to the heart of the mists imo
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mystic_Forge scroll down to satchel recipe. its not worth doing
you’ll find the most variety of abilities with the elementalist followed by the the engineer
this puzzle is ridiculously easy and people are still complaining. i fear for future content if things get any easier. mad king should be the baseline for difficulty and quality
some tips that will help you sort your inventory fast when it’s full:
1.) at the top right hand of your inventory there is a little drop down menu that has the option deposit all collectibles. this will deposit all of your crafting materials (leather, jewels, ore, etc.) directly into your bank from where ever you are located.
2.) when you are at the a vendor there is a button to sell all junk. junk is generally what is defined as trophies in your inventory. think of them as small spoils of war that only exist to net you a little extra cash when sold
3.) Soulbound is used to designate an item which cannot be placed on the Trading Post, mailed, or placed in the inventory of another character. They can be placed in your account vault. Soulbound items can be salvaged, or sold to NPCs if they have a value. (from the guild wars 2 wiki)
soulbound items are those you have equipped previously. you can requip the items freely on your character and yours alone. this is a way of getting items out of the economy.
4.) you will see that some items say that are salavagable. using a salvage kit from vendors on the item will give you crafting materials. things like weapons and armor can also be salvaged
also if it wasn’t clear crafting materials are used by the various crafting professions http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crafting
do your armor pieces have required level 60 on it? you have to be level 60 min and each piece has to as well
any account bound recipe you learn will work on all of your chars but can only be made by the character who actually knows the professsion
you could have just got exotic pieces for an actual advantage instead of wasting money on mediocre karka shell that i can’t imagine anyone will be keeping very long
How are you getting emails? I haven’t received even one email about gem store sales. There must be an ‘opt out’ thing somewhere.
check your spam, that’s where all my gw2 mail was going by default for some reason
this is only for black friday sales
it’s not group based. i actually miraculously got this achievement in my last run. it seemed like there were no traps to be seen besides the obvious one in front of the wisp altars
the difference doesn’t make you as completely as powerful, but shortens the gap between a low and high level character so you won’t get steamrolled as fast. for example you are still missing out on trait points and skills that havent purchased yet
best place to farm blood by far is southsun cove
are you perhaps standing in a fire or fire related aoe abilities?
out of curiosity, what is wrong with fort aspenwood? it’s my server and i have zero complaints about anything here personally
you will be able to get all the skills and more. even after you hit 80 every time your exp bar fills you will gain a skill point.
so here i am at level 11 and now my progression will be hindered because of rng?
the demmi beetlestone one is crafted i think
guys if you give me 250 of every t6 material, i PROMISE to help you out in the future
i think this is pretty common knowledge since the release of lost shores
it’s absolutely ridiculous that progression is based on rng. on top of this the rng could give you an item you dont even want stat wise and then the item is account bound on top of it. the only alternative is to grind out 250 T6 materials to craft a piece yourself.
why is the solution to everything in this game RNG or gambling or straight up luck?
some people go 5/6 on mf sets, just to add another mf rune from a different set. personally i think mf is a collosal waste so this is pointless
i dont think there is a single situation where the karka shell is better than any of the crafted exotic trinkets
Will we get the ring we are supposed to get? Is there an eta on a patch, or some confirmation if we are supposed to get a ring or not? Would love to have some communication on the issue. Also is the ring random, or is/will there be a way to make the ring have the stats you want on it?
this trinket is actually very bad compared to any of the exotic crafted trinkets. i dont know why anyone would consider using it
this was by far one of the most boring battles in the entire game. it was super laggy and long for absolutely no reason but to be long. one shot abilities everywhere, invisible enemy spawns, instapoison deaths, and worst of all this absolutely ridiculous loot distribution on the reward chest.
zhaitan was a terrible fight but at least you can complete it lag free in a 5 man instance rather than this boring lazy design
i thought this problem was fixed with the lost shores patch
i am thankful for the lack of underwater combat. if the on land mobs are any indication the underwater ones would be so much worse in the cove. in addition to the random invulnerable mob problem, weak (read: boring,) underwater combat, and tendancy for underwater mobs to swarm you it’s just not a fun time
for a fresh 80 the orr karma gear will be fine for you to start. i think the easiest way to gear up is to just craft all of it yourself. otherwise you can run dungeons to get a full set, or purchase full sets via the temple karma mercahnts in orr
all of the TA dungeon weapons might match that. all all of the sylvari cultrual weapons would match the plant theme, but not the color
i’ve only seen 6 of them, but the swamp one is definitely the worst of the bunch
i would say neither
