not to be rude, but perhaps you shouldn’t be playing games if you get carpal tunnel from playing a video game from short periods of playing
pve gear can be used in wvw, not spvp
maybe a ranger so your pet can tank for you. a heavy armor class like warrior or guardian should be pretty easy too
learn to utilize dodge roll it gives you pseudo invincibility so you can time evades. adapting isn’t going to come immediately, just practice and you’ll get it eventually. remember that everyone has a heal skill and utility skills to keep you moving/healing/evading
buy if you want the skin, but its really not worth it. lower level weapons will come and go pretty frequently and can be obtained for much cheaper
female charr is probably the least popular
new dungeon though, dunno how long you’ve been gone
interact with it from the front not the back
http://www.guildwars2roleplayers.com/
also i believe tarnished coast is the unoffical rp server
its good to note that as of now gw2lfg.com is the best way of finding a dungeon group be it for story mode, explore mode, or fractals
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Old_Oola_Lab
you need to go through the lab to get to that chest
it requires http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Energy_Crystal to start the event
perhaps you should contact support instead of posting on the forums
don’t ruin your time playing the game saying i have to save karma for 80. karma is abundant (daily, monthly with karma boosters, simply doing DE while leveling which you should be anyway, etc) and easy to get, spend it as much as you want where ever you want
crafting your own armor or simply getting karma armor from heart vendors will suffice all the way to 80
there are people out there running at even lower frames/graphics settings than you are and you want to return the game over it even though you said its one of the best mmorpgs out there?
there’s a section in the options to turn it on
if you have trouble finding groups check out gw2lfg.com
straits is completely doable solo, but it is challenging. if you paid attention even a little bit to the story or to the scouts they tell you what is going on. there are three paths one north, one middle, one south that all will lead further into orr. they all are a serious of dynamic events one after the other. obviously there are situations that you cant do completely alone such at the temple of balthazar events, but you can at least explore in ward. it wont be easy and it’s not meant to be. remember that after each of the dynamic events is successful on the three paths to attack into orr a karma vendor will open up allowing you to get some level appropriate gear as well
your character is gone, someone else just has your name
sounds like the people in your guild are messing around with you
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Transmutation
you will need Fine Transmutation Stones for level 80 items
because people rarely do the events to unlock it or they are bugged
click the second button on the vendors, every dungeon sells level 80 exotic armor
your drops are level appropriate even if you are downscaled
likely a few gigs to update to current version from the disk version
just rings and back piece atm
just in case you weren’t aware try gw2lfg.com until anet decides to actually do something in game
usually get groups in less than 5 mins on gw2lfg perhaps you should give it another chance?
“A scaled down character continues to receive experience and loot that is comparable to what he would receive at his real level, but it is somewhat less efficient for obtaining experience and items than playing level-appropriate content.”
when it comes to rune sets such as blah blah (1/x) the x means if you put another rune of blah blah in a DIFFERENT piece of armor you will then get the set bonuses listed. for example with one minor divinity in a head piece, and one minor divnity in a chest piece, you will then have 2/2 and have the full +6 stats
sounds like you don’t want to transfer to me. i think you will find a new guild in time. perhaps start one with your friends and family that are there on the server still or join one of theirs. you could always server switch to see if you like it and if you dont switch back one week later
doesnt sound likely
i believe you show up as unknown if you haven’t logged on since a new patch was released
maybe a guardian. if you are having trouble with a warrior, definitely dont do a mesmer or an elementalist. perhaps you should try dodging more or obtaining better gear.
did you equip a different off hand? sword, dagger. pistol off hand have different 3, 4, and 5 skills
she was temporarily taken out, but she’ll be back probably after wintersday
don’t quote me on this, but i think this only works if you are in an overflow, and your party joins your overflow. this is typically how cross server fractals dungeons are made
while your leveling the best way to get gear is talking to completed heart givers and buying karma gear or simply crafting it (which will also help you level)

dunno how accurate this is
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crucible_of_Eternity_armor you kind of answered your own question
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/GW2-Abbreviations-and-Terms/
try using the search function for questions such as this as you will likely find others with the same question or some useful references
there were times when my gift stopper tally didnt go up. i’m not exactly sure what caused it. it might have happened when multiple people were pummeling a carrier but someone else did the majority of the damage or something. this is just a guess though.
i kind of feel like this is how anet intended it to be done. ill have to try it out.
warrior and thief are the most noob friendly, and the most boring though
what you might be seeing is abilities that have 2-3 parts on one button indicating that it can be casted.
for example:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Illusionary_Counter
you can cast counter and your skill button becomes counterspell, or you could let the spell block or timeout as normal
after you complete heart quests if you talk to the npc again they will sell you stuff for karma. you can also pick up a crafting profession, get random drops, do dungeons, or buy stuff from the trading post. your personal story also gives progressive rewards.
