leave the mists to lion’s arch via the portal. in town you will find an area with portals to every town in the game. these portals are located left of the lion fountain in the middle of the city. you will see the purple circles on the map designating portals. take the portal to your race’s home city and walk out the front and you’ll be back in the starter area

all heart quest givers become karma vendors upon completing their quest. if you are talking about asura cultural armor/weapons those vendors are located in rata sum. immediately after taking the asura gate from lion’s arch to rata sum they are located straight ahead in the middle of the the city

nerfing in general terms means to make something weaker. nerfing a boss would be making it easier. nerfing a profession means its weaker. nerfing rewards means we are getting lesser rewards. nerfing a dungeon would mean that it is easier or perhaps less rewarding i’d say.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but achievement values have been and always will be useless no matter what the game is. they maybe fun to obtain, but beyond that they serve no purpose

what exactly are you complaining about? you say yourself that there are npcs everywhere with something to say, but YOU choose not to speak to them…

you can craft ascended back pieces as well, but fractals easiest place to get one imo

you can probably find people to do story mode version of the dungeons at lower levels. check out gw2lfg.com if you are having trouble finding like minded people

Obviously you’ve never used the scepter/torch and staff weapon set for mesmer.

mesmer is by far the hardest class to level, but if you stick with it, its the most interesting class by far (imo)

she is standing next to the broken fountain in lion’s arch but her inventory is currently disabled. she is sort of useless now that you cannot get black lion key’s from her, but some people seem to be fond of the crafting tools she sells

you have to have at least one commendation to see her inventory the last time i checked, but again she is currently disabled

that chest piece is the wvw armor bought from badges or looks pretty close to it i dont remember

the fact that anet wont separate the power/attributes of abilities between pvp, wvw, and pve is quite frankly ridiculous. their reasoning behind it is even more baffling. people who pvp don’t enjoy pve at all. people who pve don’t really care about pvp. wvw is sort of a middle ground. of course people like to dabble in all of the content, but there is absolutely no reason to gimp a class in all aspsects of the game just became of their niche performance in one. i primarily play a mesmer and examples since release are the nerf of portal, phantasms, shattered strength, shatter gcd and likely soon time warp due to pvp whining are some that come to mind. again i don’t care even the least bit about pvp. pvp nerfs shouldn’t effect my already weak pve experience.

coming from someone who doesn’t really like gw2 pvp in the least bit, their view on becoming an esports is pretty silly as well. concentrating solely on conquest gameplay with these few static classes with so few abilities and builds is not going to bring in any sort of interest or spectators. pvp in this game is an afterthought and no amount of fixing is going to bring it in line as a reason to even play instead of lol or dota (not even going to include wow, its hardly a competitive nor interesting game in terms of esports.)

communication between anet and the community is minimal at best, and updates take much much too long for what minimal balance or content they provide.

it’s all well and good to promise a list of thing (as anet has been doing for months now) but i’d be more impressed to see what is actually implemented and not what is supposedly going to be implemented at some point in time in 2013

i’m not really sure what you mean by this? you mean the f1-f4 keys?

server transfers are currently free, but you can only transfer once every seven days as of now. however, most servers generally show up as full and it is sometimes difficult to get the specific server you want

slots for 5 extra of stat virtually does nothing

they are unique so no you cant equip 2 of the same. this is why each ring type has at least 2 variations of itself

Whenever i try to put lemonade dye on any of the metallic parts of the human female light t3 armor, the dye doesn’t appear on the character outside the preview window. instead when you check again in the dye window it says “dye remover” instead. i have relogged and it didnt fix the issue

sounds like a guild not worth being a part of to be honest

at low levels i would exclusively get gear from karma heart vendors, crafting, or from drops. crafting is great for the exp, and its fun especially if your just starting out
