I agree that I wish the Ranger would just move faster. Honestly, the Warhorn is basically a required weapon because of the movement speed boost.
It would be nice if the trait that increase our pet’s movement speed would increase ours as well.
Over the course of beta, this has to be one of the worst changes to the Ranger. A very nice viable trait was nerfed into oblivion to make it worthless to ever take. Why would a ranger waste endurance to dodge roll to remove blind when he could just hit his 1 skill a single time?
Even if you ignore the shortbow conditions and statted power and precision, it out damages every other Ranger weapon. The longbow’s damage is pitiful, being one of the worst dps in the game, even at 1200 range.

I would also like a translucent wolf spirit pet.
I was at one point a spirit pet ranger, but ditched them because they just aren’t worth the time and effort to keep them active. You had to take 30 points in Nature Magic to even make them semi-viable and doing that means you give up a lot of other stuff.
I suggest having dynamic events that trigger in lower level zones only when a level 80 is present in the area. This would give a reason for high levels to replay through the lower level zones.
My main is a ranger. I find there are some problems with the class, things that really bug me.
Most people believe that a ranger does more damage with a Great Sword than with a bow. Why is this? I could understand daggers, could understand bows, even a sword. But a GREAT SWORD? It’s just such a random weapon for a Ranger to have, and for it to be one of the best weapons to use it is just kind of irritating. I made a ranger to be a ranger not a warrior knock off.

The Axis of Insurrection is organized within our guild ranks and with outside guilds. You are more than free to contact us if you wish to organize. Our activity within WvW through most of these 24-hour cycles has been mild as most of our members have been leveling and gearing up for the longer WvW periods.

It’s downright mind boggling that such a basic system that has been in MMOs since MMOs existed isn’t in the game.
Ranger is a pet class, deal with it or play a different class.
I think it should just be a back slot item you can wear or transmute onto your guild backpack. If you want it, fine, if you don’t, that is fine as well.
So I have been extensively playing World vs World for awhile now and it just doesn’t satisfy my craving for world PVP. It’s fine for what it is, but it just isn’t like having a dedicated PVP server. I don’t care what form it comes in: open PVP or faction PVP, but I hope that ArenaNet sees the benefits of having one. There are a large number of my old guildies that just won’t buy it because it doesn’t have this feature.
The biggest problem with the orbs is that it just cements the battles against lower population servers. They already have trouble organizing enough people to go against higher population servers, but with the orbs it just makes the whole situation worse.
There needs to be some kind of buff for underpopulation in WvW to counteract all three orbs.
No response from ArenaNet?
I honestly just stopped using the F2 ability. Kinda worthless as-is.
I really don’t hope you spring it on us, and give us a couple days of warning.
Gold shouldn’t play any significant part in WvW. Everything should be done with supply. Upgrades and siege weapons should all just cost supply and the armor repair shouldn’t exist.
Another option is to increase badge drops and use them as the WvW currency.
Honestly, I just refuse to WvW. I go in and if we are losing, I end up with debt. That isn’t fun to me and I’d rather just not do it.
