I’m memeber of a bigger guild, so we already unlocked and played bounty hunter and I like the concept, but this is so discriminating for small guilds or “group of friends”. Why so important content that need that much influence? If at least it would be some kind of alliance thing, but this right now it is not thought through. All the other stuff for guilds is more or less luxury nature, but it is a major part of pve content, you get even ascended earings for. I think you should not connect such things to any bit of influence. You should never lock out ppl from pve content like that, big mistake. I feel with you guys! Keep your family guild and dont give up, my anonym big crowd is long not as much fun as I had on small scales…
I can confir this issue. GAme client crash for every member in our guild.

What a strange kind of bug-fix…
I just changed launcher language and then the launcher restarts and started downloading files. I changed back language to default without waiting download files to finish and now I can login!?
Maybe next patch?

But since they state it on their official site I guess it will come with high probability and I will just buy the utility slot under uncertainty ^^
I saw this on the wiki and could not find it in game. I’m very sad about, I really like to have one of this!
But I guess it is something they do not want us to get and they just forgot to or just didnt remove it.. :-(
Would be great to know more about, because the amulet I’m going to buy will not be utility slot if we dont get those…
edit: ok on the official site it says 5 new Utility Infusions so i guess we will get then sooner or later?

Could you tell us anything to the weapon art issue regarding the pact weapons having only visible effects in preview and not equipped?
Would be great to know if this is subjected to change some day or maybe never.
The pact warhorn looks so awesome in preview and it makes me so sad it does not pulse in my hand :-(

The problem with JP’s in wvw is they take up queue spots for people who want to do wvw and help their server win the wvw.

Always are the ppl in the jp the excuse for loosing the fight… I cannot hear it anymore… Strange thing is time to argue those ppl have enough. I dont have that time if I fight for my server. And the blueprints they are collecting like there is no tomorrow… If you organize a jp port rush instead complaining only you could save a lot of time and ressources. Also the opposite will also have people in there, I think it is mostly even fair. So relax, it is just a game. :-)

I would like to see the jagged horror gives us some life force. That would be something every play style could utilize.

Everytime I see/play a ranger I feel like necro minons are just the biggest crap ever. So less love in designing this feature! It would habe been so awesome if we had some kind of features like the ranger and could have various risen creature like running around in orr. Imagine your “pets” are the undead npcs from orr. That would be so awesome. But currently it just is no fun at all – at least for me…
So I hope there will be something done about those absulte crazy sigil and rune drop rates that prevent me from playing my character like I would like to do in WvW…!
So is the formula for ratings going to be updated during the same week as the ratings reset? I reread the Anet posts and although they said they were going to change the formula, they never explicitly said when.
Additionally, we’re taking advantage of the reset to revisit some of the math behind the ratings. I’ll have more to post on that once we’ve crunched some numbers and made some decisions.

Well, I think the whole gw2 economy experiment failed more or less. At least from my casual, playing just for the fun, perspective. I would not call it next gen mmo in that point. Bots and real money traders had a very huge impact due to the nature of bots creating too much wealth and items of course. Now it becomes visible for everyone. But the in my opinion biggest mistake was to not strict separate the ultra-rare status symbol items from the casual gaming stuff. They are paid with the same money and mats and new items are also introduced with the same mats. There should have been a simple line between casual (exotic) and hard core (like ascended legendary) items. As also I think it was a big mistake to make very rare items tradable in the tp. All in all I’m very happy I do not really care for such status symbols and completed my char within the first months.
Who is now starting from scratch has a huge disadvantage.
I guess it depends on the ppl you are playing with. If they rezz fast you are half alive if they are mental dead you are half dead ^^
i’m talking about my downed/dead allies ;-)
Please introduce a visible distinction between those two states – maybe just for wvw or if in big groups. Sometimes it is very hard to see if a allied player is in down state or dead. If there are tons of effects, more then just one player down and you are also in fight this is very annoying.

Is it just me thinking basic exotic gear(rings,..)/weapons are to expensive for a casual player? Prices of crafted exotic has doubled from what I payed after reaching 80 on my first char in september… That is beyond good and evil for me… I just though I could create a twink or two – just for WvW – but if I look in what it costs to equip I will not do that right now or later..!
And I really feel sorry for all the slow playing players… I think there sould not only be exotic stat gear, also there should be exotic stat weapons/equip. Everyone should get the same chance and pay the same…

For the moment we do not have a user interface for editing your “remembered” network locations. As a result, please be very cautious when selecting to allow new locations from the emails (or, in the near future, from the mobile authenticator login screen).
So this was a month ago. Will we get the possibility to remove such networks? I mean I do not want to edit them, I just want to reset/remove them. Please, that one button cannot be that much work for you… That option make all you security measures somehow useless… And I guess that many hacked accounts were only possbile to hack through this remember network function.
And in addition you dont let me change my eMail… I’m not very happy about all this…

Also I just tested what you said and it does indeed happen if I enter water. It does not if I leave water. Could not track that down, thx for the info!
So I reported this issue already as an issue with just one armor pieces texture, but this is not true.
There is some kind of texture popping up on my boots every single time I play since over a month… It disappears if I re-equip my boots, but it does only take some time and it is visible again. It is also not only visible to me, also to others… I have now transmuted the boots and it shows up again! So the linked post above is not longer correct as also I guess it is not the right topic to report this issue.
If you need further information please let me know. To “reproduce” the bug see below.

In the even daily boss fractal, especially in the boss fight, the textures of everything like environment and character become transparent.
edit: had set it to “quality” in the driver panel
edit2: also had some graphic issues in wvw at a sawmill in a camp with oc deactivated..

Why do I play GW1/2?
1) No monthly fee – Gems and its item are absolutly ok! Spend a lot so far ;-)
2) No chasing the carrot, play because you like it – at least I thought and you self told us so… but now… I /sign the OP…
3) No need to grind – I’m not so sure anymore about this. I mean you need this element, but it is at a very critical point…
I did not know about that. At least in your elementalist changelog it is stated the finisher was “unintended”. However I loved this bug/feature so much in combination with my wells…

Am I the only one who loved to utilize this?
Please give us back the finisher!
And please anet tell us why, was this a bug from your point of view, overpowered or was removed because other things got improved?

This is so disappointing for me! I do not like this healing bubbles, but you can destroy them or reduce their effectiveness better than by reducing healing aoe to 5.
I’m a necromancer and I love to play support. I do not get that much kills and most players do not understand that my wells are powerful if they use them right. However I do not give up and no this… Sorry, but that is just no good decision and here is why I think so:
1) There is much more AoE damage fields/skills than AoE heal skills
2) necromancer/ranger has pets. How are they counted? So it is a PvE nerf too..
3) AoE healing output is so much lower than damage output
So I think reducing it to 5 is a overshot.
I think aoe basic healing output has either to be increased or at least work for 10 targets and if you still think it has not to be, what is with our pets??

Well I read ANet integrated this new Tier because players where asking for more progression – when I see this huge thread with 32 pages in just 12 houres I guess you did listen to the wrong folks. Seriously I was buying your game because there were no such kind of items and now that… I really do not like what I’m reading… I think the decission to outdate exotic was a very big mistake…. Until now we do not know much, but still there is something that is better than exotic… Not good… Whatever it is – that is not what I want the game to be. What is after ascended? The people that you try to satisfy are never satisfied!
If you can not fix clipping issues you should provide a possibility to change at least some aspects or whatever once after you know what proportion of your created character is clipping… You simply can not see in character creation the clipping problems, but you will probably know every detail after you hit 80 and equiped you character.

The game / gameplay itself should retain players for a long time and do not earn the objects.

Yeah I know that you have those elite skills of transforming into any one of the four animals but how do you get those icons under your name of all 4 animals at once like how it is in the image.

I agree – I kill nearly every class by just not running away and fight! Staff, wells, dagger, warhorn, DS are just superior if you KNOW how to apply and stay calm. Thanks for the info that you can exit DS early. However a thief is just a pain, because if he cannot kill you he will run away… In WvW with the delay it just sucks like hell… I have yet not seen a thief not starting to run away if it is obvious he will die. Also if you do not react in seconds you have no chance if the thief knows its class. I think the thief should not be that powerful on opening attacks.
If you do not skill your necro as a “glass cannon” you can nearly kill any class. Yesterday I had a fight against a Warrior for about 2 minutes – he went down, but a ally helped him in the last moment…
And now there are still a tons of bugs..

I dont think there is any problem with blueprints – just upgrading should be more fun for everyone.
Well I’m a casual player and I have not the perfect overview.
The commander stuff – I know you can just ignore persons – just think it could be improved, but thats secondary.
I understand that WvW is designed to cost a lot, since you earn a lot. I have no overview of the total costs, but I think it could be more balanced/fair for everyone.
Why not say every wvw events reward is splitted 70/30 and there is a server “bank”. I dont know. I dont have THE solution – I just think this part could be improved a lot. That’s what I like to point out here.
Just want to state I think WvW is much too expensive when it comes to upgrading not the blueprints. There might be servers organized enough
to have no problem with it, but other have. The biggest problem is that after a wipe you have to rebuild. On my match this week it is like a complete wipe every ~1,5 days and guess what – nobody likes to invest in anything since the middle of the week. If you play on a weak server this is a very very bad disadvantage. And even on a good organized I think it would be much more fun if in a match up the price will drop logarithmic every time you have to rebuild or even go down to zero. I also suggest some kind of spend option on the vendor, because it would be much easier and no one could abuse.
Also a system where you could spend more gold to speed up would be an option.
Another topic is the commander stuff. I think it is given for 100 gold is a problem. Potentially anyone can be commander without ever playing WvW and I already have seen commander trolls trying to miss lead. I think it really should not be bound to gold (only) and especially I would like to see a system that allows the majority of players to revoke and grant people the right to command….

I think only a minor part of casual players cares about something is super rare and not everyone has it – but the others will also not post here. However you and also the devs are formed by the past. It is in everyday life that your brain and thinking is formed through learning, experience and in this case through the “old” mmos and “western economy”. So I understand where this kind of thinking comes from, but I dont need to agree, like you do not need too… I guess this is a never ending story and in the end there is no easy solution, but I think it should not take overhand.
I also think the BLC are the biggest design flaw in the hole game. If they sold the skins for even 50 bucks the people would be happy and I guess the money would also be enough.. Right now it just leads to unhappy players. I guess on the long run that will turn out negative. For example I would never buy BLC keys, but maybe a very amazing skin.
If that is true what I’m reading here it is a huge disappointment and a very big step back from GW1 and all those great words they have made.
Sorry – I know a thief is weak when he takes damage, but if there is a full exo thief you have not even the time to react. This screen was taken in wvw and we all know that there is a game side problem. However as a necro I feel very sad about my class when I see that a thief can put out this amount of damage in just a few seconds…. I’m with 25k hp + 1600 thoughness and this just is a shame for my class. I love hard fights but I have not the time to react!? This is just sick. And guess what people start running around in bulk of thiefs..
The worst thing is you cannot do anything against a full server with just 20-30 people. If they run in a group it is nearly impossible to stop them… So what happens? You build up your domain at day, spend tons of gold and it is overrun at night.. Really?! Right now you can change it back to a one day period! This would make it a little more fair, because nightcappers would also lose their investment. It’s a mess. As far as I understood wvw was designed not to build up every day and lose all night. It is not fair, it is not fun. it is simply destroying the whole point of wvw. Also you top list is a joke, because it is obvious that the top servers are nightcappers. And now servers start to recruit other timezones – looks like this has become the only thing that decides about victory… Well done… You should really implement a kind of timezone block…

I already reported a single piece male-light-karma armor clipping problem a month ago – still nothing changed…. Instead it is now worse! I know software development is not always easy and it takes it’s time to fix issues, but – sorry to say that – I really expect more reliability from a endgame armor – or at least a note/comment if it will be fixed or not… I’m very very disappointed so far with this part of the game, because I have to see this flaw every single day and after all it is a single piece of armor……
However the new problem is a strange texture failure – maybe you know where it comes from – really does not look like it should be there:
