AAAAAAH, they should rename that event Map Event then.
A difficulty level higher then Group Event !

On to something here, every map has to have at least one Map DE Event than.
And when new players ask what is differnce between Group Event and Map Event they will learn a Map Event is insane rediculous difficult.

Hmm, if more and more people complain about this somthing may be done about it.

An example of mine;
In the Norn starter area.
In the middle somehwere is an open cave (openings on 2 sides), with Sons of Svanir and a Veteran Svanir.
I tried solo that,was alone, and in the cave is a Splendid Chest.
I managed to kill the the normal Svanirs (also by pulling a few).
Then the Veteran, that was though for my squishy caster.
I was nearly dead when i finally managed to kill it, after a few minutes.
Guess what happened then. All normal Svanir respawded very close to me at the same time, swarmed me and killed me.

Now, it may have took me a few minutes to kill the Veteran, so u can say they respawened a few minutes later. Still, it was the cause of me dying and failing.

Also, it makes running away from a foe or Veteran, when u r nearly dead, very difficult or futile cos u will run into respawned foes u just killed.

This to fast respawn rate of foes is one of two things i hate/dislike most about GW2. And i mean that for for general PvE.

In the PvP Locker, the bow that looks most like it is the PvP Forge Bow

oooh, is THAT why my Mesmer char nearly always still gets targeted by all foes when having Clones. sigh

After a recent patch they dont work anymore on equipped items.
If thats the case, unequip item first.
Otherwise, be more detailed about the problem.

Do the Jagged Horrors (from the DM trait) get better, when u get higher lvl?
I now have a lvl20 Necro with (also) 5 poinst in DM. Gives u the passive trait to sometimes get a Jagged Horror after killing a foe.

I already read they were bad.
But say my jaw dropped when seeing how utter bad and useless they are.
Without taking any dmg it died on its own after 3 seconds (maybe 4).
So, mostly they were already dead before even reaching a foe.
O.O

Hmm. I would like to see at least one normal minon type to regen health out of combat. At least u have that when leveling towards getting the Elite minion.

ooh, had that happen once, when i wasnt Chilled or whenever u should hear yer character say “so cold”. Weird.

and after only 3 hits, u dont get the option to Mine it anymore, and the Rich node changes its appearance to destroyed/fully mines ?!

Sorry to ask the obvious, but with Rich nodes, u have to Mine it a few times.
I only farmed Copper sofar, so i can only refer to those nodes.
My experience is, when u choose Mine, u get 3 hit animations, and 3 salvages.
The Rich node can give 10 salvages, so u have to choose Mine 3 more times.
The 4th time is funny, cos after the first hit animation the Rich node gets (and should look) depleted but u still see 2 more hit animations.

U could put a message in Map chat saying where u r dead, and ask for help.
That might get help faster.

But if it isnt, yes it should show the dead/downed player icon in caves.

no u do not.
If u have equiped 6 of the same minor rune, u do not get the 2 bonuses 3 times (unfortunately).
So, equip max two of the same minor rune.

Adding 4 same minor runes to armor pieces does not, unfortunately, give u the 2 bonuses twice.

If u do, it will say (4/2), and 2 of those 4 added runes r useless/pointless.

And imo, most second bonuses with minor runes are not good, and its a better idea to equip 6 different minor runes for only the first bonus of those.

Not sure if it happens rarely or more often.

In Queensdale, Queens Forest.
Me and one other player tried the Champion Boar DE.
Already not funny was that a Veteran Boar showed up also.

But most not funny, or kitten kitten, very nearby the Champion Wasp DE started, and SOMEHOW the Champion Wasp also showed up.
So, kitten kitten we were fighting a Champion Boar, a Veteran boar AND a Champion Wasp.

So, i was like kitten that.

I managed to do evrything in LA with a Norn char, but specially the jump puzzles were a bigger challenge.
I would really really like a first person view.
In GW1 the last step of zooming in closer to yer character would get u first person view.
Its beyond me why that is not in GW2.

They mostly farm the DE’s near Bar Curtis Ranch.
And otherwise they run around that area killing evrything.
Most of them are Rangers with Juvenile Brown Bears.
Most of them should be in their underwear.

Though they r great help if u wanna do the DE’s there once.
They r still bots………..

I tried several different alcoholic drinks and when consuming them they all sound more like eating sounds (eating something) instead of drinking sounds.

So, can they be changed to a proper drinking sounds !

Around the building are several Skritt IQ Test Subjects.
Talking to them and testing their IQ i found funny.

In PvE there r a few Heart/Karma NPC’s that sell water breathers for Karma.
U do have to do the Heart quest first though, only after that the Heart NPC becomes a Karma vendor.

U r supposed to be able to do everything solo, well, except Dungeons and Group DE’s.
Now it is not, mostly becos of the very fast respawing of foes at times and at some places.

What i mean is, when i am not logged in yet, but am viewing a topic, than i want to login, i get the main forum page, and i have to search again for the topic i was viewing.

Rather annoying when i view a topic when not logged in and then want to login to reply.

Just got Parasitic Bond on a lvl16 Necro, and i really could not see or tell i was getting life/health from it.

So, either its to little to notice at low lvl or it u dont get health/life at all.

P.S. Its not supposed to give Life Force , only Life (wich is Health imo).
Wich i prefer, i dont care about Life Force and Death Shroud.
Thats why i want this trait skill to work :-(

In the PvP Locker its listed as Wizard armor. How to get it in PvE, i dunno.

She ends the conversation with that she and many others will be watching u.

She can be found under the platform with the Crafting stations, the side near the Asura gate though.

The repeat frequency IS annoying.

Crafting in Divinity’s Reach is getting annoying.
The Crafting stations are near a circus, part of the ambient sound of it is this guy with an annoying laughter, after a few times u REALLY have heard. It repeats quickly enough.

Then, the TP in Hoelbrak, near it is some drunk Norn.
I use the TP often enoug,h, and i really heard enough times what she sais.

Now i slide the NPC Voices and Ambient sound to zero when i am in Hoelbrak or Divinity’s Reach. And ofcourse i sometimes forget to turn those sounds on again.

So, a frequency adjust slider would be very nice yes!

tl;dr If the following two are mentioned already, sorry, and remove this post.

The underwater skills Air Bubble and Rock Anchor.
After casting them u automatically continue casting your first skill.
If u hit the target, this breaks/stops the floating or sinking effect.
This pretty much ruins the intended effect of these two skills.

The skill point NPC (wich i presume u have to fight) remains dead.

It does not use the Chimeric Prism Focus inventory icon.

It does not use the Ithas Longbow inventory icon.

I wanted to combine the skin of a Healing Shiverpeak Short Bow with the stats of a better Mighty Short Bow.

What went right and what went wrong:

I did get a short bow with the Shiverpeak Short Bow skin.
I also got the stats of the Mighty Short Bow.

HOWEVER, my new short bow was named; Healing Shiverpeak Short Bow
It SHOULD have been named; Mighty Shiverpeak Short Bow

Do u access mail or login to game websites from a smartphone?
If so and if its Android based u could have mallware/spyware on yer smartphone.

The first time i used this option i was like, nice, and then i wondered why my Mini’s were gone from my Inventory.
Luckily i found them i my Bank account.

The Crossroads Haven “outpost” in Wayfarer Foothills.

Earlier visits i noticed that Icebrood Elementals were getting very close to the entrances.

The last time i visited they even came a little inside.
Most NPC’s including vending NPC’s would fight them, and get killed apparently.
Not usefull, dead Merchant, Armorsmith, etc.

Just tried that new password reset method, for GW1.
It does not seem to work for GW1

Can this service PLEASE be enabled for GW1 aswell !!!

So, silly, being locked out of one my GW1 accounts when the solution seems so easy (password reset).

Will it also work for GW1 ! ?

A week ago i submitted a ticket for a GW1 password reset.
Password reset for GW1 seems to be disabled aswell (“very nice” that NO info about that has been given).

Since all of support seems to be focusing on GW2 i ask this here in hope for a response.
