I’ve got a better solution. Guesting was implemented to allow friends to play together even if they were on a different server. So, to guest, require an invite from a server resident.

I totally do not like this.

I dont know anyone on another server. Meaning, i would not be able to guest on any other server.
Yes, fits fine with Indigo sais.

However, it kills solo guesters.
A week ago i needed something from a temple karma merchant. The temple was not cleared on my server. I then guested on another server where the merchant was available.

Another example.
After midnight my server goes pretty dead in regards to having anough players to do world bosses. I then sometimes guest on higher population servers to participate in a world boss event.

just now on Vabbi server.

During the 5min cleanup the Fire Ele is visualy present (only that).
When the 5min timer ends the event skips the boss fight and goes right to Rooba’s end dialog about the poor golem.

What i dont like about SC is the part of the Karka Queen event, where outposts are overrun with foes. Becos on my server the event is rarely done and these outposts stay overrun. And with overrun i mean 10-20 foes, not able to kill that amount solo.

Another thing i dont like is that the boat with the Bank and TP NPC is to far away from the start outpost.

With the first and second SC Living Story content its like only things were added that were temp needed for SC Living Story.
And then Anet didnt (wanna) spend time making it a proper area/zone.

Why not an option to toggle “auto-play” where a bot plays your character and uses skills/dodges/placement to the best possible extent…!!!!111one.

Hmm, didnt knew my post would attrackt flies or trolls.

Anyway, in a boss fight or zerg i cant really see well where to put my Ground Targeting skill. And my suggestion saves time casting Ground Targeting skills also.

My take on my first (and last) attempt.
So, i thought i was gonna fight a BOSS

After getting to the nearest WP and walking around a bit, i got insta downed 3 times within a few minutes. Exploding fish heads were the cause apparently. Fun ?! No.

Then for several other minutes while trying to get…anywhere…i was constantly distracted with fighting normal/veteran Risen.
If i wanna fight those i can go to Orr i suppose.
Finally, when a Champion (or a very big Veteran) started chasing me, i was like …nvrmind this.

Point, i thought i was gonna fight a Boss.
And, this post is not about what i could do better or different another attempt.
Its about my first impression/experience from this event.

well, somthing changed.
Checked my mini Wolfborn Berserker today.

It was supposed to have his axes in both hands like;

Your not alone. Happens to me to. Still have no clue why it happens.
Though, for me it does happen less often than approx evry 10th time.

Some weeks ago i put a topic in Suggestions to ask for more things to buy with Karma.
Like Cultural armor and Order armor and weapons.

Instead, Karma gain is now nerfed :-(

I can only hope that when this issue is looked into, all HoM icons will be checked and all bugged ones will be fixed.

Assassin and Hunter item name pointless;
Assassin->Precision, Power, Critical Damage=Berserker
Hunter->Precision, Power=Strong

Somthing else, a point of concern i have is that the TP price for blue and green weapons/armor may increase alot. Considering how many players will salvage green and blue items from now on (for Essence of Luck).
For leveling characters, with low gold, this can become kitten.

well, Rare is much cheaper than Exotic, but getting Rare items can get still expensive.
If u have hundreds of gold, u may consider lvl80 Rare items cheap.
But if u only have a few gold………….

Yeah, the Veteran one.
I am sure he stacks Confusion at a high rate, that whatever condition removal u have can not keep up with that.
With several (downgraded) lvl80 chars this is the only Aetherblade i have serious survival issues with.
Any other Aetherblade, not much of a problem.
But this one, tnx to that Confusion, i always die or nearly die.

The difficulty difference is astonishing, if u encounter a group with him or without him.
Perhaps somthing should be done about that fast Confusion stacking.

Order weapons and armor and Cultural armor, make them purchasable with Karma.

There is so little usefull to buy with Karma…

i really doubt it will go down to even 4 gold.

Every time the price rises, due to new interesting Gem Store items, it hardly goes down.

So, get used to it, 5g now. And will rise more in the future.

Maybe when the Karka Queen has been defeated enough times ;-)
Difficult to continue building when evry existing outpost is overrun with Karka.
With the uncertainty that evry new building site will prolly be overrun with Karka to.

Hmm, i see a next LS chapter for Southsun Cove.
Permanently clear the Karka infestation and other dangerous wildlife for extra building sites for the Consortium.
Hmm, keep clearing certain sites in SC of karka and other dangerous wildlife for the 2 week duration on the LS. And after that these areas will have Consortium construction sites. Then for the next 2 week LS duration, protect these new construction sites. After that, permanent new Consortium buildings/outposts.
Wow, this already sounds so much better than the current silly world invasion by Scarlett.

With the last Southsun Cove LS. Getting upscaled to play there.
Was having fun with an upscaled lvl60 char.

At the day that ended, right after the update patch.
I loaded that lvl60 char that was still there, to farm a bit.
Pretty much got 2-shotted to death a few times.
Was like WTF ?!
Finally it dawned on me i was not upscaled anymore.

2 players with the same account name, really ?!
I would think that should not be even possible.
Unless they share a same account.

Now, if u meant same character name, thats more believable.

An idea would be to change one of the two.
One other Imp i encoutered sofar in the game is the Shadow Imp

So, either rename the mini Storm Imp to mini Ice Imp and change the mini Ice Imp into a mini Shadow Imp.
Or, change the mini Storm Imp into a mini Shadow Imp.

Personally, I do prefer the first option. Becos the mini Ice Imp model is a bit bigger and would prefer that for a mini Shadow Imp.

As said race isnt it.
Ele is very squishy and difficult to master, bad combo.
I couldnt get the hang of Attunement swapping and gave up on my Ele (wich is lvl55 btw)

If u start completely over/fresh, and ask for advice or help to get to 50/50, the most important advice i can give is do NOT go for 50/50 !!!
That will take way to long (one or more years i would guess).

Aim for 30/50 at best, so u have all the HoM rewards for GW2.
And that will still take prolly at least a few months, i would guess.

As for MOX, use him/it untill u get Melonni or Kahmu, MOX his size can/will get annoying at times (blocking yer view).
Important thing about Heroes, when u get them they r worse than Henchmen.
But, when propperly upgraded they are or should be (way) better than Henchmen.
With upgrading i mean; better skills, armor runes and insignia and better weapons (+weapon mods).

I recommend finishing Nightfall first. The difficulty is lower in the beginning.
EotN was meant to be done with characters that finished at least one of the 3 campaigns.
U still may get the few easier to get EotN heroes first; Ogden,Vekk and Gwen.

This bug/issue has been in GW2 since launch, sad its still not fixed.

tl;dr

Well, i played GW1 for some years.
Wich wasnt really difficult to learn, but there was alot to learn.
Same thing with GW2 i would say.
That may be the difficulty/complexity perhaps.

AND, for GW1, and now GW2, their Wiki’s are a must really.

I look somthing up on the wiki practically daily.
Could be considered a bad thing perhaps.

I did, till i ran out of Quartz Crystalls, have 30+ Charged ones now.
Still farm my Personal Quartz node evryday.
When i have 25 Quartz Crystalls i will make another Charged one, etc.

To me the model/skin of the mini Storm and Ice Imp look (exactly) the same.
I do have to run GW2 at lowest quality settings though.

I already had the mini Storm Imp, just bought the Ice Imp on the TP.
Disappointing to discover they look the same :-(

EDIT:The only 2 differences i can spot are that the Ice Imp may be a little bigger in size and that the Ice Imp flaps it wings less frequest.
But they still look the same, skin texture wise.

Mine luckily is not gone.
It is on a character, in an Invisable bag.

Nice, that i can choose to see either the newly added Achievement tracking panel or the original Account Medals panel (at the char selection screen).

I prefer to see the (original) Account Medals panel.

Bug:
Everytime i go back to the character select screen the panel always resets to the Achievement panel.

I call this a bug!
So, please fix that the game remembers wich panel i choose to see.

I agree info given in game is lacking, therefore luckily we have Dulfy.net

However, if u refuse to read the suggested 3rd party websites, i suggest to uninstall GW2 and do something else.

When previewing my (Berserker) Deldrimor Mace of Frailty,
i was previewed a default looking Berserker Mace of the Geomancer ????
I presume a Geomancy sigil was originally on the mace until i replaced it with a Frailty sigil.

But seriously, WTF !?

Why there r called Zodiac weapons:

Rat = Dagger
Ox = ?
Tiger = Rifle
Rabbit = Scepter
Dragon = Torch
Snake = Greatsword
Horse = Axe
Sheep = Staff (looks like a ram’s head)
Monkey = Focus
Rooster = Warhorn
Dog = Pistol
Pig = Mace (looks like a boar)

Hammer = Rhinoceros (is not a chinese zodiac sign)
Longbow -> some bird (is not a chinese zodiac sign)
Shortbow -> some bird (is not a chinese zodiac sign)
Shield -> no idea, could be the sign Aquarius (wich is not chinese zodiac)

Havent checked all, so dont know if most r bugged, but plenty are.

I am not the only one then. Happens to me to sometimes.

When it does happen it usually also resets more than once.
I rezone alot, change characters alot, open and close Inventory alot, and as unexepected as it happens it quickly enough stops resetting.

When the Wallet was introduced it kept resetting untill i had logged in to most of my characters.

But I still have no idea yet what causes it really.

I can only hope at the next attempt Logan ends up dead (instead).
So that Gwen can beat the kitten out of him in the Undeworld, for him being a lame kitten.

And ofcourse the only way for Logan to save himself is to hide behind a Charr.
Becos Gwen will beat up the Charr instead, be she will yell at Logan she will come for him as soon as she’s finished beating up that Charr.

For general PvE its very good.

1. Some way to kill annoying (green) NPC’s, usually the ones that run up to u asking for your help.

Especially that stalker Ebon Vanguard Benji in the Ebon Vanguard stonghold.
For convenience i placed a mule character at the TP and Bank NPC’s there.
Now i am traumatized by that stalker Benji :-(

2. When a DE has no activity for say half an hour it STOPS. To prevent DE’s being active for forever, well some DE’s seem to be.

3. Get rid of Contested WP’s. Its more annoying than it is interesting/realistic.

4. Get rid of spammable KD and Interrups that soem foes do, this Fake Difficulty is more annoying than it is challenge.

5. Recently when trying to kill an (yellow/neutral) animal, it ran away when it was nearly dead (surely this happens more often but this time i had an idea).
First i was u coward, then i had this idea. The animal should run away and go neutral (yellow) again at low health. Some of the the times anyway.

I would like this idea implemented!

The Hall of Monuments in GW1 does not have a Xunlai chest or Xunlai agent.
The Eye of the North outpost, wich has the access portal to the HoM, does.

Every outpost in GW 1 has a Xunlai chest and Xunlai agent next to it.
Every character has to only once activate a Xunlai account at the Xunlai agent to gain access to the Xunlai chest (that is already there).
