if your talking to me, I have a male human guardian, my main a male charr warrior, my second main, A female human Thief, my third main. I think when I look at a Gw2 thief I see them being very nimble and acrobatic, I can not picture a big ars Male norn being nimble and acrobatic.

I also have a female Human Mesmer do to the ole lady, in the upper 20’s, I usualy play this character when my ole lady is with me. it is basicly her character, but I just do the work to level it. She likes the purple butterflies and music notes. Also the domination trait. Seriously this class is designed to be female only, it just does not seem right for a dude being this class.

I never once got 80 loot in a 55 zone. I figure If and when a piece of loot ever drops in a 80 zone you think the loot would be 80 since it’s in a 80 zone, nope it always ends up being 70ish. Not only it is 70ish it is a blue and it never matches my type of gear, meaning If I wear heavy I got the other flavors. But nice try.

Well they do have the best female faces, and hair models. Most of the Norn females all look the same, and they got more tattoo designs on their faces then plain designs. The female Sylvari, I think has the best run animation, but to me they are just creepy looking. Charr, and Asura females look just like their male counterparts. Tis why you see more female Humans then any other female.

On topic I did notice this too. It seems like all the drops are junk compaired to people that I talked to in chat with 100% magic find. They too see bad drops a lot more, and if it is bad for the gimicky Magic Find stuff. I am sure it is tera bad for people with out magic find gear. One thing I did notice is more Orci nodes popping up then before.

Figurative speaking. Adding Firestorm, and Orian Mines in the water where Plinx wanders. I mean seriously, like the Cursed Shore is not annoying enough, they go ahead and make it even more annoying? Do they do this Shiat on purpose just to piss people off?

People will say Plinx might be getting farmed to much, so they make it even more annoying to do, does this make any sence whatsoever? If aNet thinks he is farmed to much, well heres a clue, the mobs mostly drop vendor trash. Hence constant farming in hopes to get something nice to loot besides Trash or Blues. and 99% of the time, even the blues are NOT level 80, and almost never match up with gear you wear. IE a heavy getting Light or Medium BLUE ARMORS that isn’t even level 80?

Seriously making it more annoying to do Plinx’s chain just to loot vendor trash, or crappy blues, how does this even make any sence at all?

The title should be don’t cave in to the Content Locust. These parasites rush through everything new that comes out as fast as possible, and then complain in the Forums of how everything is super easy. They are the most vocalist of them all. And they are ruining the game for dedicated players.

I like the female GS stance aswell. The stance makes it look like the Pixel has some weight to it. The Male stance is just no accurate. Maybe that stance could work for a one handed sword, but not a heavy Greatsword. Have you ever felt the weight of a real Greatsword? It is not light, like it seems on the way the males hold it.

I love how NPC’s and Besties DO NOT GO INVULNERABLE after they are almost dead and restore their hit points, to turn around and continue to attack you, to go INVULNERABLE again when they are almost dead.

Wow their is SO many different verities to chose from, for Theif armor I can not decide which looks the best.

I rather not have duels at all. It is an mmo not a fighting game. I don’t want players spamming duel on me when I am busy with other important task, just so they can have an eggo boost for themselves or some lame power trip. No thank you. Go play a fighting game if you want to duel.

But the bottom line really is…..There is an extremely fine line between something that is hard and something that is just down right annoying, and Orr and all the mobs in it is down right annoying. You wonder why there are no bodies in Orr most of the time? It is an annoying place, and the reason why the way points are always contested? Do to the lack of players in Orr.

Honestly I rather not have some other player telling me facts based on a spread sheet that they think is right. The devs should had just made a healing class, so to those players that like to heal only and always did a healing class since MMO’s came out would know what to do in a group situation do to there instinct as always playing a healer for so many years. GW2 does not have a healing only class and probaly will never have one, because if it does get one then thier slogo of a different MMO’s goes out the window.

It all boils down to, a player that only plays a healing class will always know what to do in certain group situations.

5 hours only? I was on vacation from work and I played for 12 hours and not a single unidentified dye drop at all. I think the drop rate did change significantly.

It takes only a couple things to make 1 thing, and the Karma prices for the bulk things is to low, and I can use coin or Karma for the bulk things.

It is a bad design, especialy if the area is new to a player. The Risen mobs are very annoying at most, which makes the zone an annoyance. Basicly you have to just run to each waypoint and unlock it, eventhough it will be contested 99% of the time. The more waypoints you unlock the better you are. so instead of 7 waypoints away it could be 5 away.

Not sure why the devs made the Ruins of Orr to be such an annoyance of a zone that we have to rush through in hopes to unlock that next waypoint thay may or may not be contested.

Not the majority. I bought gems before and did not get to much gold back. The majority are buying from goldsellers do to the fact of getting more gold back then what the same price of gems vs gold go.

Last I checked was before the hallowen event If I bought 35$ worth of gems then trade the gems for gold I would get 15 gold back. If I spend 35$ for gold from a seller. I don’t know because I never buy gold from sellers, I more or less would get more gold back for the same price of what I would use to buy gems.

So why would I spend the same amount of money and get less gold back from trading gems vs a goldseller? You wonder why there are SO MANY BOTS in game? If it was the Majority of players buying gems and trading for gold there would be less and less bots. Alls I see are more and more bots.

it’s an instance so it does not take up to much of your RAM, and it allows easier access to add or fix things for the Devs.

I can’t stand him he rarely does anything at all. I would catch a glimpse of him costanly standding around why my character is getting mobbed. “For the Love of god get these mobs off me! They should be mobbing you not me.” Is what goes through my head everytime I go off on an adventure with him.

I will probably try WvW soon, but last time I went, the map was huge and it was sort of overwhelming I didn’t know where to start.

The main problem with WvW is if you get pealed from the group and die, and the only uncontested waypoin is far south and you died far north you will have to try to catch up with the group you where in without get jumped again by a few of opposing team members who might be scouting. I know the guild I was in we had a handful of scouts, just to pick off straglers making there way to their group. It is annoying being a victam of a scout group. So WvW is fun aslong as you stay with the group and not die often.

you can set a gamepad up with a third party program if you want. The problem is you will run out of what you want buttons do. Meaning you will run out of buttons to bind things very fast.

Why is it that the NPC guards either not do a dang thing, or die almost instanly. They need to not be wimps and they need to last in combat A LOT LONGER THEN THEY DO. I spend more times reviving guards and NPC’s then players. They are suppose to be trained in combat a lot more then players, and they just get owned constanly.

BUFF the guards so they last longer, and stop having them stand around and do nothing when there is combat right infront of them. Guards should aggro when a threat is to close to their posts.

We all know it takes a moutain of Karma in this game to get rare things. Wheather it be Bulks of crafting mats, to some weapons, Exotic gear, legendaries, to siege things. So there is really not enough Karma to go arround to get the full effect of the game, leads to Constant grinding just for Karma. On top of all the other grinding.

I think if we have a Karma set, with certain stats on it. I think it will be a nice idea to take the set we have, and be able to trade it in for another set with different stats. Because lets face it, if you say, build on a damage dealing class, then want to go support, your damageing dealing Exotic gear will handicap your support build.

Also in cursed shore the Karma dealers wander around, and will not interact with you until they stop wandering around. One Karma dealer will settle before the other. For example just today we capped the prominade, and there where two dealers there. One had Exotic gear with stats of Power, Toughness, and Vitality, and the other guy had Exotic gear with stats, Vitality, Precision, and condition damage.

Now players will automaticly go to the one dealer that settles first, and buy the gear right away just for those that did the prominade for the first time, do to the fear factor of something going wrong and you start getting attacked. They had a tough fight unlocking the dealers and they just want their gear to get out of the area as fast as possible. Will automaticly go to the first dealer that settles first.

Meanwhile the other Karma dealer is still wondering around. So there will be times players will realize that the gear they picked is not of the build they are looking for, or even joining a guild and although you are a damage dealer build, your guild may need you to go support instead. and you are stuck with damage dealing stats on a support class.

We should be able to swap the gear out, as long as it is level 80 Exotic gear, for level 80 exotic gear. This will help players experience other builds if they choose to. Most players do not have time to resave up all that Karma for Exotic gear again just to try a different build out or help their guild, do to ALL the Karma sinks in game.

TL;DR
We should be able to swap Exotic Karma Gear with Exotic Karma Gear just incase you get the wrong stats, your guild wants you to swap to a different build, or you just want to try out a different build. FOR FREE instead of farmming all that Karma again just to do a stat change.

Things you will never here in Gw2?

Wow my warrior absorbs a good amount of damage.

Wow that Gurdian hits pretty hard, and can absorb some nice damage.

My AOE heal can heal the whole party a good amount.

Elementalist, and Necro got a buff.

That thief can take a good hit, and still pump out a lot of DPS.

Level 70-80 Risen are week and not annoying.

Wow a few yellows, of my level and type. A nice upgrade for me, after downing a champ.

The class skills cooldowns are not that long.

World events are never bugged.

The zones need MOAR mobs per square inch still.

No way I did not aggro them mobs, way over there.

The Mystic Forge gave me some nice goodies back.

I got a nice two handed axe.

I have plenty more but I will hit the text cap.

I too think the Mystic Toilet is crutch. Why would any developer use so a crutch that is all about a Random Number Generator. What is also bad about it, is players now HAVE to rely on the Mystic Toilet and the very poor RNG sytem to get something good out of it at level cap.

I probly would have better luck in RL going to a slot machine, and getting something in return. IE. Breaking even or a litle more back then, getting anything good back in game using the Mystic Toilet.

Asended Weapons are just gonna be better then legendairies.

I agree to the OP. What about using gamecards. Such as ultimate game card, to use to buy gold.

NO..I rather not have inspection at all. It only leads to keyboard knights coming out of the woodwork telling you what gear you should have if you group with them.

I am always up for new content, but I’d much rather have the broken things fixed first.

Once the Events stop being bugged, I just would like to see better drops off the things that are attacking you during the event, because just as the OP mentioned ‘Easier Assult’ meaning a lot of the mobs are hard to kill and they just yeild vendor trash. Why have hard mobs if we just get vendor trash?

Well Gw1 was max 20 until eye of the North came out then it went to 30. I am almost possitive we had a 30 cap. But the thing is why even bother to make a new level cap anyways, we already get autoadjusted based on zone. We do not need any more grindy content then we all ready have.

NO way there should be a dueling option what so ever, this is an MMO not a fighting game, and I do not want people that feel the need for an kitten Stoking constanly spamming Duel on me when I am busy with other tasks.

waypoint costs do attend to not be cheap in some case. It is a tool used for Gold sinking, which does not work in GW2. Far to many Gold sellers = A lot of bots, and far to many players that buy gold. So all the gold sinking the devs added just goes to waste. I wish they did not cost anything to waypoint around, because now it makes it unfair to the handful of people that play the game who earn gold legitly, and not the illegal way.

new gear means older gear being obsolete such as exotics. This is turning the WoW direction. What are they gonna do next add a Gear Score to new stuff. So those that do not reach the minimal Requirements of GS can not participate in any group runs?

I find the locked chest is a poor way of saying. We want the game to be free to play, and not a sub, but we will just dramaticly increase the locked chest drops so players will buy the keys at the gem store. Giving us money to release content.

I think they should just drop the gem store, and locked chest altogeather, and just make it a sub to play. So many times I would down a pretty hard boss, and expect something from the loot besides vendor trash, and it is a “Blank” locked chest.

Skip the middleman, Remove the Gem store, and add better loot to harder NPC’s.

New gear means older gear is then obselete. Prepare to grind more and more to get something better then the Exotic Karma Gear. That took so long for us to get a fullset of. Since the Karma Pricer are still a bit stepe per piece. There just seems to be not enough Karma rewards, and on top of that 500K+ Karma per legendary? Come on, that is a bit of insane amount of Karma needed just for the Exotics and a lendary.

Prepare to grind out a fullset of the asended gear, and Anet will of course make it cost something relentless per piece. GG anet -_-

Weird I just statrted to get lag in Cursed Shore when doing events as of last night. I never got lag in Cursed Shore before. It could be a memory leak, since I do see an occasional candy corn ghost node, here and there, and I even came across a few ghost and non ghost Jack O lantern’s. Technicaly the Halloween stuff is still in game, Just look at the mad king avatar in Lions Arch he is still there. Which could be creating Lag in some places.

he is just rubbing his precursor in our faces is the gist of his post. I say hold onto it. I know the Precursors do drop off the Champion Abonomation after Plix the Explorer chain. But it is very rare. Also Jormag will drop a precursor, again very rare. So since people are farming these areas and a few other places that may drop a precursor, then for obvious reasons the prices will drop.

I agree 100% of the OP post. I particularly do not like the way some class CC works on some mobs. Especialy the big boys like champs or vets. If I do, say use a skill that cripples the mob for a few seconds, 99% of the time it does not work the way it works on non Champs or vets they just walk right through my cripple like it wasn’t even there.

A shield warrior can use an interupt or a knock down, but on Champs mostly and some vets the skills are useless they are mostly immune to the hit.

Hammers can knockdown NPC’s. Which works great on NPC’s that are not a champ vet or a high level risen, Somany times I would use the knockdown skill on said NPC’s and they just stand there looking at you still hitting you.

Why even have these so called CC skills if most are immune to them or do not effect them what so ever?

thanks for all the help. atleast now I got some sort of direction to go. If I get it and it is not level 80 I will just use the set to farm with and do my Tyria map completion. I Just got a few pieces of the whispering set last night, so that will be my 70-80 map completion and 70 – 80 event set. I just wish all the sets did not have that long coat look the duelist set is the only set that takes that same look away.

yes add this DO IT NOW. there are so many times when running with a group, that turns out to be a zerg, and you guys steamroll through the Krait etc, you are fighting to keep up with the group so you do not get left behind, because we all know you are a prime target for more then 1 other player to mob you. All the loot bags that you may have dropped for you get left behind far to often.

Also if you are constantly on seige defending your tower bags will drop, and at your feet, problem is you are risking your seige just to get off it and grab your loot bags, or even yourself, since some players can somehow pull you off your seige or even pull you off the wall when you are standing right in the middle of the wall. Don’t ask me it happens. some can pull you off the wall when you are in the middle of the wall and they are on the ground, it could be an exploit they are useing to do this.

Just because you can waltz through content, it doesn’t mean we all have to suffer for it. You want Grind then go play one of those other MMO’s like Shaiya, or Perfect World, etc. They will give all the grind your heart desires. Then you can come back to GW2 forums, and complain about how grindy they are.

The only thing Anet really has to do for those supposive grindy NPC’s is decrease there spawn rate. There is no reason what so ever to make the annoying NPC’s respawn so fast on your head.

The terrain in Frostgorge Sound is one big pain in the butt. I will hit Frostgorge Sound, when I get tired of the Rise constantly beating on me. It is a nice change of pace once in awhile. Well because other players are starting to use Cursed Shore has another Lions Arch, where they sit around hours on end and do nothing.

yep same here, and the auto target seems a little shakey. A lot of times your character will auto target another target by accident, and not stay on the beastie that is eating your face off. then what happens is if you use a throw weapon on the beastie that is eating your face off to slow it, you end up pulling another beastie by accident, now you have two on you instead of one.
