Our guild was on YB BL. We were on there for a long time… like 3-4 hours since TS was on Mags BL earlier. Basically we just kept hitting your stuff and was too lazy to switch borderlands even after (I assume) TS left Mags BL.

Not really a 2v1 or anything, we didn’t really think all that much about it lol.

Solo’d this after 6 hours of trying. GS+rifle warrior with full zerkers.

Got lucky really, did the same as usual but somehow the mobs didn’t cluster around the mortars.

Having done every living story achievement so far including the Aether Retreat ones I gotta say this is the most boring, frustrating and unrewarding one yet.

Haven’t experienced any queueing outside of the weekends at all for this matchup (lots of people were pumped to fight EBay). A lot of us aren’t playing WvW and doing PvE instead.

Against TC/SoR/DB etc, every night there was a queue on eternal regardless of score for Oceanic time. No queues at all tonight on EB and none on any of the BLs for me.

Sure we have a lot of people but it’s even worse as you go up the tiers…

JQ > TC >> DB >>> FA >>> rest of us.

You guys (DB) did a 24 golem rush on us a few weeks ago. It is most definitely not 20 cap.

Props to BP guilds (BS, Zero etc) for still fighting even though we probably outman you at least 3 to 1. Hope we fed you lots of bags for the effort you guys put in

We know how its like to be outcoveraged and starting with nothing but paper stuff… it’s not fun and it’s not fair but this is coverage wars 2 and unfortunately it is what it is.

I like how you guys brought up T4 as if it was remotely as bad as TC vs SoS.

Recent rematch of SoS/CD/SBI was much closer than TC/FA/SoS rofl.

No tears from me though, couldn’t give less of a kitten about this dumb matchup.

Pretty much same for SoS and many many other servers that have to fight DB & TC (below “T2”). The coverage gap is insane and people are deluded if they think the ratings mean jack.

It’s sad that SoS’ best matchup in the past 7 weeks was SoS/CD/SBI.

There are no incentives, only disincentives to WvW.

SoS is like deso. You guys get Vizunah almost every week we get TC almost every week. We should be best friends.

Seriously the devs need to go on deso or SoS and play some WvW against TC/Vizu and they’ll see how terrible the matchups are.

SBI’s Oceanic night crew is pretty good at defending. The night before it took a lot of effort to take garrison on your BL and tonight you showed on EB you could hold a huge zerg (us).

You guys have definitely picked up your game imo from back when we played against you. Respect.

Nothing else much to say really, the population imbalances are and has always been obvious to all 3 servers and our map completers are out in force to blob everything which skews it further.

They should just change the deviation to slightly lower the values. SoS should not be fighting SBI, it’s not remotely fair to SBI who has a 400+ rating lower than us. A bracket of - 200 rating, maybe yes ok but 400? No thanks.

1 up 1 down sucks because every week JQ would stomp a T3 server into oblivion. A lower threshold of deviation would both allow for ‘fresh matchups’ without too much roflstomping.

Well having ticked 450 ppt tonight I’d say we’re doing awesome against TC… even if it was brief.

I’m sure there’s a middle ground somewhere that doesn’t involve us stompin 100k or losing 100k. Maybe an actual T3 matchup or something, who knows.

TC dispersing won’t fix anything. They will occasionally pop into T1 under this broken and stupid system and get crushed if they dispersed (even moreso than now).

The system itself is broken, blaming TC is not the solution.

I am able to have fun in WvW and so can you. Only reason its not fun is because we push to much (TC).

That’s self contradicting right there. You know its NOT FUN for us yet you say we can have fun?

If we communicated more let each sever buff up for a cupple hours then fight for stuff it would be alot more fun. Let each sever own there BL for a few hours no snipling yacks and what not so there is supply.

And all this depends on YOUR SERVER. Not ours! Nothing we can do here and it’s obvious you aren’t doing what you’re preaching here. You had a waypointed keep most of the week on SoSBL for most of the weeks we’ve played each other.

Just because what is out now is not fun (because we ALWAYS have people on a map) does not mean you should just bla bla about it on the forums, do something to improve it, use what you are given.

What did you think we were doing about it the past 5 weeks?

SoR – we came to fight
TC – we came to fight
DB – we came to fight

You’re blind if you think we just packed it in and gave up, ask your server mates if we gave up.

only real solution to this is Free transfers to lower WVW pop severs from the top 4 severs. Need to even out the severs so there is fun. Anet cant controll people playing in WvW. IF we take everything or break the enemies spirit its our own dang fault. Blame the bigger guilds their goal is to break the fighters spirit so in the end we have no one to fight.

Which is why we’re “complaining” to make ANet do something duh.

I am not an Anet fan boy i am just realistic.

There’s a ton of threads and discontent all over the WvW forums. If they were going to do anything they would’ve done it by now. It’s been 5 weeks and nothing has been done. Their inaction speaks louder than words, they do not give a kitten.

Well more transfers = more gem sales for ANet.

That’s clearly all they care about right now, it’s obvious.

Pretty much except for SoR everybody PvEs more when new content rolls around. Using that as an excuse is LAME.

Clearly SEA time, past few nights I’ve been on during Oceanic prime and not once have we lost a keep on SoSBL. Dude has no idea what he’s talking about.

So when ebay loses their entire BL to DB it’s “lack of coverage” but when SoS loses it all to DB it’s “sucks at defending their stuff”. Cool story bro.

Had a lot of fun fighting you guys tonight TC on EB. Our map chat reflected that as well despite frustrations at failing to take SM off you guys :P

Ended the night on a high note splitting your zerg at ANZ and wiping you guys. Definitely had a lot of decent open field fights all night, we fought at the weirdest places haha (eg. north east sm near sentry, south west WC near the rocks etc).

But yeah as much as I enjoy fighting you guys tonight hopefully we don’t see you next week lol

Does CERN/EP/PiNK sleep or did you magically improve your Oceanic coverage? You guys were nowhere to be seen last week during this hour and suddenly when you win by 100k you guys show up in force? LOL

SoS as a whole never made fun of CD or SBI when we were in T4 and dominating. Everyone knew it was a coverage issue and nothing to do with skills whatsoever. We’re classy like that :P

Kinda stuck in a rut like Mags. Too big for low tiers, too little coverage for > T3+.

Nobody cares about points when you can’t even move out from spawn on your own borderlands to cap a camp or tower lol.

Pretty sure SoS wiped TC more than get wiped on EB tonight. Proof is Ogre = T3, Veloka = T3. Bravost and durios = paper.

Funny how you make assumptions about SoS without even having the slightest clue. We’re only losing 9 rating points at the moment according to MOS, this is our ‘expected performance’. Just because we’re ticking 90 ppt doesn’t mean we aren’t trying. Go take your trolling elsewhere.

On the bright side we have more total points than DB in T1 :P

When some of the most hardcore WvW players on SoS decide to take a break and play L4D2 (ew) there’s something wrong with GW2.

You can keep saying “things will…” but most people have waited for months now. WvW has gone from being neglected to being FUBARed, people don’t have the patience anymore.

Guess that’s how they make the PvE areas more populated, force people to tire of WvW and PvE.

Nah, I don’t think TC would do well in T1. Your entire server is coordinated toward the same goal to the point that most of you are in the same guild. TC has a ton of people doing their own thing. On a map that is queued for both sides, which indicates that there should be the same numbers, we can’t muster the forces to fight you guys because we have so many people off doing whatever random thing they’ve decided to do.

Easy for you to say with 80 man zergs on all 4 BLs and us outmanned on 2 BLs and barely any queues elsewhere (EB/SoSBL) soon after reset.

I think you’ll find that the higher tier opponents are respectable. If you only have 20 and want to fight 20 then request a GvG on the thread and I’m sure you’ll get many takers.

You seem to not understand the population difference. The only guilds which can field 20 people on SoS are TS and FaTe and maybe Fang on a good night. Apologies if I left out the other 1 or 2 SoS guilds that can field this miraculous number of 20 players in WvW.
