On that note let me describe my first encounter with a RG scenario premade team.
I was new at the game, RR 67-68 at the time , and me and my scrub undergeared and lower RR premade happened upon Red Guard. We did not quit, we did not hide at the spawn.
We came out to fight.
They procceded to wipe us and then ./gloat and ./laugh over our bodies.
Fun? Admittedly it was fun for someone.
Honour? Respect? I saw none of that.
Unlike to RG we care about community here in Desolation. I tell you even more. We never tell pug to gtfo, leave BL, WvW. We do know that saCRYx is capable of doing such things. If pug follow our commanders we are more than happy, becasue we wan to encourage them for playing WvW more often.
That is smart and no one said anything about it,the only thing that is of concern is that there is not much glory for a whole server to kill only one heavily 3to1 or more outnumbered guild ESPECIALLY when the only skill that anyone can use is NR1 ,that’s all.If your server kills any guild well that’s life,but guilds claiming kills and boosting their ego is pretty lame since in a scenario like this it’s all about the server PUG.Want your guild to be recognized?Well get ur kitten out of the PUG and act as a guild,don’t kill as a pug and brag for the guild because no one is getting fooled

I was running with IRON on deso border today and had fun except for the massive lag. I played for about 4 hours and we were not near 80 people at all. To be honest I’m not even sure if I’ve ever run in a group of 80 people. And, as most already know, wvw is wvw, not GvG. If a commander has a tag on, pugs will gather to it like moths to a flame.
Despite all the lag, culling and loss in points, this has been a refreshing week so far, props to all for that.
All Sacrx has been saying is that u run mixed in a blob you are not a guild you are just a random in a blob.No guild claims should be made whatsoever since no guild has any merits when fighting in a blob vs only one 25 man guild.
All the rest is wvw.use server name not guild name if you need to blob up to do anything against a single guild
This will be the last time i argue for this thing, i do it since Far Shiverpeaks wars (6 months) and i’m really tired.
We. Were. Really.35. in the raid. There was 35 in the chan, and 20+ in EB. When you talk about 150-200 players in the morning, when i see the true numbers with my own eyes, man, how can i do more to make you understand?

However i do not understand what is all this defensive position about how many players you have in the morning.You will never convince anyone that you have very few players online and they actually cap everything with their superior skill since everyone can see what happens in primetime on equal numbers even if you guys have advantage of t3 keeps with waypoints and the enemy has paper towers.
Also even if you only have 55 guys the other servers have 5 to 10 spread across 3 maps with an average of 2-3 players per map.Mostly these players stay in EB and the bls have zero players and it’s been confirmed in endless ocasions.
Bottomline pvdoor against no opposition whatsoever.You have the abbility to do that ? yes.Yo have to lie about how many you guys bring against empty maps ?I really don’t see the reason so better please stop cuz no one cares.

Ps: some vizunah really put up some great fights and starting to learn a lot on primetime wich is very fun.Pvdoor is lame and makes most of us rage but until that is part of the game in it’s design is not much to do about it,all timezones have their right to play.

Really enjoyed the fights last evening on SFR bl against Desolation.siN was the only raid going for some reason but there were guys from other strong guilds helping.The raid ended soon after bay fell to vizunah.We decided to give it up and focus on hills where Deso was attacking strong since hours and had a WP.So much for VS crying we are allies,no we are not and Deso guilds can hit hard,but we try to hit hard in return;)Many good fights.Makes WvW fun .See you on the battleffield.
Guys guys,don’t get trolled by ppl like ultranawak.He has no job,he has no fighting or tactical skill,he has some self lo esteem that pushes him to post screenies about 100 man vs empty keeps.He got farmed so hard for the last 12 hours he really needs the silver to repair his armor.I hope it is enough silver though i hardly doubt that.Other servers have morning cap and bad economies going trought all over the world but they don’t try and make it a point of “skill”.VS this is the reason people hate on your server,you would have a lot more respect without them in my opinion.
6 months after, there is still people believing we have canadian players or guilds, and still do not understand our commanders/players sometimes play 10h+ hours because they do not want to surrender

GvG 25 is anything like and have nothing in common with small numbers spvp mechanics.8v8 already exists for ppl with your kind of prefference .That kind of gameplay for us WvW players is unapealing.

It is hard to adapt when your guild raid of 20 ppl and other guild raids can’t join a map because too many ppl came to the server.These people that build the that community and brought Piken were it is while outmanned will get tired of not beeing able to play and find another home,the server and all that everyone worked for will be destroyed and all will be left will be the newly arrived wich will change server once more after they see how the server is not any good without it’s guilds.Imo this is what Wam was talking about.Ps: some guilds already left because of this issue,guilds want to play as a guild not waiting jumping arround or /sit in HotM,and if the situation will persist there will be no more a Piken Square like you know and love.
You mean the majority of the guilds that are respected and known trought other servers like Tup,sIN,Boon,VII,GG,Hob,Dt.Ka,Tntd,(i dont think RG does rp but Lyric seems like a rp guy ^^ )and many many others not so know guilds to the public but vastly recognized in the WvW community with Piken Square as their home server?

If it has full immunity all it would do is basically put a 5 minute timer on the camp switching sides, this would in no way be game breaking. At most it would be annoying to the zerg that has to wait for the buff to go away before the karma train can resume.
You do not understand..Smaller population servers relly in fortifying their towers and defending them heavily ,therefore by giving the opposition the means to completely negate without any means of recapturing the supply for periods of time into those towers will be utterly gamebreaking.Also will discourage any defending of the camps whatsoever for those 5 minutes since there will be no risk that anyone will ever take them back making the game even more predictable and dull.I fail to understand why a group of 10 ppl should not be able to retake their camp back after it was rolled over by a 50+ zerg,giving the zerg even more safety and advantage on the tactical plan.
Removing the buff is unrealistical since it will only cause karma camping and farming the event.
Implementing diminishing returns on the camps (if the same player captures the same camp multiple times in a row, in a given timeframe), shouldn’t be much of a problem. At least, it’s a solution.

Being forced to not be able to get supply in your keeps and towers for 5 whole minutes is really a really bad concept,far worse that the current state,since even a solo player can easily cap a camp and hold everyone trolled for ever.A server should be able to retake their things back no matter what,and if they can bring a zerg to do so only means that zerg cannot be attacking/deffending other objectives on the map.
Making the camps and bosses completely immune to damage for 5 minutes will only promote griefing and hacking like the orbs used too.I would rather see the buff removed completely and imo that wilol be a far better ideea than what you guys are suggesting.
Giving to a single player the ability to distrup and entire tower defense or upgrading is just gamebreaking.I am sure you all know what a d/d ele or perma stealth thief can do and they would do it forever.Is enough already that the dolyaks can be killed so easy by even a solo lvl1 character.

So guess what .The last time a thief annoyed me so much i rerolled my human warrior into an asura warrior. Pain Inverter Ftw. Funny how in some cases (w thiefs) i only need to activate it and grab popcorn.They are so nubs that i bet don’t even know what happened to them.
WvW needs more bundles like these to use not less.They are one of the few things that make the game more enjoyable since nobody cares about pve .They cost gold and u need spend a lot to make some propper damage,not to mention how inadequate they are to use in a quick battel,u are immobile,u need to equip from the inventory and is a gold sinkThey are slow as hell and u must be afk t o get hit by one.Kinda beats the purpois of pvp if uwanna just sit there and watch this comming to you and do nothing but spam skills and wanting it removed.
If it were for the QQers we would all be fighting with wooden planks and only nr1 skill for all classes.By all means implement more of these things they are what makes the game fun when you are bored,Roleplay and some ocasional giggle to the enemy.
