Asura! Why well just take a look!

Let me introduse Lyss Braveheart! My main and favourite thing in all of Tyria! Im currently farming for a cooler set of gear and will update when i get it!

I prefer guilds of not too much bigger than 60 and i am looking to getting into wvw roaming/ havoc squads. I would also like to run some dungeons for money/gear so i the guild did that also that would be great!

Wow.. this has just made i soo much harder :p i guess lots of thinking and maybe seeing is a new meta build comes around and then just bite the bullet on what legendary to get :p

well i started working towards it because i always wanted to get one, i just wasn’t sure which one! and thanks for the quick response and think that i may just get the greatsword and let the haters hate, unless of course there is a genuine reason not to get it

Ok so I’m just finishing up on world completion and on my clovers and I want to start thinking on what legendary is the one for me? I love to look of sunrise but How many builds use greatsword and is it viable? I mostly pve/do dungeons with my guild so I greatsword a good idea or should I go for something else?

OK, so basically, i have a mesmer with 100% world completion and i have my elementalist sitting at a cool 45% exploration. But i am in love with my ele and i wanna get meteorlogicus for her, but do u guys think i should get world completion with my ele or just use token i already got from mesmer to make gift of mastery? What do u think of chars with legendaries but no exploration start thingy?

I’m currently working towards the bifrost and whilst I am grinding stuff out in pve I like to throw in a bit of spvp/tpvp for fun. I ran the pu condition build, then an interruption based build and I’m looking for something maybe more tanky/ bunkery. Any1 have any suggestions? Also I’m not that great so a forgiving build would be quite nice :p

Ok so I am thinking about legendary for something to do. I really like the look of the bifrost and meteorlogicus. They each have advantages. Bifrost in all my builds I use. Meteorlogicus love scepter and using it in my current build and it have cheap precursor 150g as opposed to like 500g for legend. What’s your opinion? I am also slightly worried that because I am an asura meteorlogicus might not be easy to see? Ny thoughts as to what you think I should do? Any screens of asura with meteorlogicus?

I am trying to get into solo roaming and maybe sometimes running with a d/d ele. Would the mist or the condition spec be better for me or should there be another build i should try?

I really like all the shattercat builds and I’m going to give them a try. But I was wandering which one do you find more forgiving to a new mesmer? I was thinking of giving the heavy and the mist a try. Would you recommend these two or should I try one of your other builds?

I was playing today with axe torch and short bow and was really enjoying it! Is there a build that would work well with these 2 weapon sets, im thinking about wvw and dungeons also :p

Is there a condition build that works with axe/torch and then whatever i want? because i want a build that will work in wvw as well as pve without having to sort of change gear and such all the time i also really like greatsword :p

Hi all,

Now i know we have a sticky dedicated to builds for ranger, but i just find there are so many builds that all do different things that i have got myself confused. I am at 80 with my ranger and am prepared to invest in a full set of exotics for my character but not sure which stats/ weapons to get. When i play on off peak times i run round getting world completion but i also like getting into wvw when its busy, and one thing i enjoy doing there is getting on the front lines with my greatsword, hacking and slashing, putting traps down and such but i find sometimes my survivabilty is lacking. Should i maybe swap to a completely condition based build using axe/torch and something else? Or should i use greatsword and go more p/v/t? Or is there a build that i should try that i am missing? I am clueless atm and would appreciate any help that you can offer!!

Just some advice, i used to dislike the p/s combo but have recently fallen in love with it, its just so fun using 4 skill on shield with burst shortbow rangers!

Alright guys i’ll give these a go. I’m not that into FOTM so i might change agony resistance infusions but i’ll see how i go currently just farming my laurels for ascended gear! Thanks for advice!

So i am about to hit 80 with my engi and i was considering a few builds and was wandering what you guys think would suit me best. I am going to be running round wvw with all sorts, in zergs on my own and with a few guildies sometimes.

I was first of all wandering whether the TANKCAT build was still viable? Does any1 know? Or maybe the build here:

Is there any other builds i should be considering? I will also be doing dungeons alot and world completion. Also, would the TANKCAT build work with rifle? Simply because i love the look of predator :p

Engineer, so many kits, so many abilities and a few different type of build, that all require thinking whilst on the battlefield oh yeah and you get a flamethrower and grenades, woo!

Not sure if i’m being an idiot or something, but when i try to put this into a build calculator to get juggernaut major trait i have to go 30 into firearms has this just been a recent update or something and build calculators haven’t changed yet?

I know there are a million of these threads but, with the holidays coming up i was looking for a class to be able to focus on and get some solid world completion done. I currently have an 80 warrior but it was benched due to boredom.

I really enjoy running round in wvw, not only zerging but also with just a few friends and i would like to have a class that is useful in both scenarios. In dungeons i like to offer support and versatility as well as doing my fair share of damage.

i would also like to consider a legendary, the ones i like the look of are, sunrise, moot, predator, juggernaut, incinerator and bifrost and flameseeker. i dont really know what classes go really well with those weapons and advice on classes that use those weapons often would also be appreciated.

I recently have been wanting to do some mat farming in orr but there just never seems to be any1 there, is there a new awesome farming place or is my server just being quiet? (I’m on Whiteside ridge btw)

I was considering going for a dreamer on my asura ranger because i felt i was ready, but then i realized that i will may struggle to see it is there any asuras who have screenpics of ANY legendaries? I would just like to see if it is easily visible or not

thanks guys! i think i will at least do world completion on my asura buddy and will probably use my legendary on him because the greatswords look soooo cool on asuras!!! thanks for the help

Ok, so i have just got my asura character to 80 and love the ranger. I would love to go for a legendary, thinking about a greatsword, but i am concerned that i will put so much effort in and will hardly be able to see the weapon. Should i make a new charcater with a different race? or should i carry on and is it possible to see legendaries easily on an asura?

Basically, i was completing my Plains of ashford with my charr (sorry if this is in wrong section btw) and i couldn’t find the last waypoint. I checked the ign map and everything but couldn’t find it. So i have 18/19 waypoints and cant get my zone completion any1 had this happen before or is it me being dumb and not finding a waypoint??

I played for a few hours yesterday and I found that dagger/pistol was the best with a short bow

Hi, I am currently leveling a warrior who is about level 60 (I am new to the game) but am looking to start aiming for arah armour. I want to start farming early but I have a couple of questions, 1. Can I be in two guilds at once? 2. R u guys willing to accept a newbie?
