Is this not in the game yet? I downloaded the patch and see other things but none of the new gem store items.

Well you can only guest on 2 servers every 24 hours so not sure how you could really exploit dragons and events with that..

I plan on using them.. If you are in an area with de and no one is around then why not check out another server.. especially for the orr temples!

So you will have loyalty to your choice. It costs much more than the server transfer fee if you take into account what the guilds lose in influence. It makes your choice that much harder and mean that much more imo.

1-30 are the best stories imo. Just craft 2 max things and you are almost there anyways.

No you cannot have 2 accounts with 1 game copy. The influence staying on the servers was intended to make you want to stay with it on your original server. Larger guilds it does not really hurt, but yeah you guys will take a good bit of time to work back up. I don’t know what you have in your gbank but I would either consider it worth it to move back to your original server and stay there or just consider it gone and begin again.

They are also adding new guild perks and I hope they are good.. so unless you moved for wvw then I would say moving was a bad idea. You will have guesting so even if the pve on your server is dead you could have guested on a busier server and still had all your guild perks and earned influence for the guild on your original server.

Hope it works out for you, my husband and I have our own guild so I understand it does take a good bit of time— months— to work everything back up.

Not transferring, just hoping that the new wvw additions that are being added soon are not something that is restricted by numbers. That is all I am saying.. I guess I didn’t say it in the right way idk.

I am staying on a server, sbi, that lost many of its wvw players. I am just curious if the new wvw additions will have number restrictions on them like the break-out events have. Like Stargazer requires 10 people to be there to start.. well sometimes there are not 10 people on the map. I hope this is something that is being considered and there are new things implemented that maybe 1 or 2 people can use while being in wvw not basing everything on 10 people before you can use it.

Why are some unable to play without following a commander around? Where I play people are able to run around on their own and in small groups without following a pretty blue icon. If your server has commanders that don’t know how to lead, people shouldn’t be listening to them. Sometimes players are much better off thinking for themselves instead of being told what to do.

We DO play without a commander since there are many times we do not have one. Did not think that was the main point to be taken from my post.

Oh I don’t mind a challenge.. and not planning going anywhere- I would like to be able to have something to do in wvw though.

I just hope that there are not number restrictions placed on the new wvw add ons. It is so frustrating to try to get a break out going, and only have 7 people on the map so I would hate to see all this new wvw stuff added and not be able to use it because it is not accessible due to low numbers.

I am just curious if we know what is being added to wvw or even a hint. I am sticking it out on SBI and it is getting worrisome in all honesty. I usually play in the mornings and the past few days there has not been a commander on any map, nor has there been enough people to start the break out events. In fact last night we had 2 commanders on a borderland map fighting for control and telling players to not listen to the other one because of lack of man power to follow 2 commanders

I really don’t want to server transfer, and wouldn’t need to if people had not freaked out. I was fine with the major guilds leaving but the mass exodus that followed from people being worried has had more of an impact than the few major guilds leaving. It makes me so upset because we would have been fine, and now I am finding myself doubting. I honestly hope that once we move to the correct tier- even if it is last place- we have enough people to at least have something going on in wvw. I am hoping that the new wvw additions do not have a player requirement for us to use them like the break out events.

I want to stay here on SBI, but I also enjoy wvw. Am I basically screwed? They say they are adding things, but are we still going to need more people than we have to use them?

I think they were always intended to be expensive it just took awhile for them to get there. That would explain why the dye pack is loaded with common dyes and then 1 master or rare.

So what about roots? Is there a way to get out of those or just wait it out?

I have been leveling up a Necro so I don’t know all the skills yet and how to use them to their fullest, but the one thing I have yet to figure out is what my defensive skills are. I have been in wvw and when I get rooted I cannot figure out how to escape! Also if I am being attacked heavily other than my death shroud I have no idea how to counter. Any pointers would be great!

Last night was the first time I saw a thief that was good at stealth. I seriously thought he was hacking it was so fast and everywhere. There were at least 10 people fighting a group from the other team and this one little thief— well it was crazy. There was seriously no way to kill him because he was there for maybe a second hit you for a good chunk of your health and by the time you dodged or whatever to not dye you could not even target him because he was gone. Even when he was on someone else by the time I had him targeted he was gone before my attack landed.

Stormbluff isle. We just lost some wvw guilds so the ones that come are being welcomed with open arms.

I just started looking into minis.. so I am hoping I can get the ones that passed before I decided to work on this collection. I hope they do more with them in the future as well.

Could someone please confirm this? I really hope that this is the case- that your home server gets the influence and not the server you are guesting on. It makes more sense to me than the guesting server getting it otherwise there is no point to staying on a home server.

They already had a signet of speed.. it just made no sense for it to be so much slower. I would not count that as taking it from the thieves personally. It was a skill that they had already that was adjusted because it was silly to have such a difference in the amount it gave them.

Also you just got a ton of new people transferring.

I am sticking with SBI as well. It is sad to see the people leaving but I think in the end we will be fine. I am hopeful that there will be more people that are going to stick it out with the server than that bail out on us- the grass is not always greener.

Has there been any info on this? If you are guesting on a server do you still get influence for your guild on your home server?

You do but it is server specific. So you will not get the benefits of the guild that it has on 1 server if you are alone on another. You would still get to see gchat, dungeons, ect but the only influence and perks you get are the ones on the server you are located on.

Nifty. May add it to my glamour build as a 3rd slot when I’m not using Portal. Or a generic condition damage build with Scepter and confuse on blind.

It is an aoe but it is a very short range so If you do not like to be in melee range it sucks.

That really stinks. I have always had banks open when I ran guilds.. and for the most part it works well. I have had people steal .. but you know what – yeah it sucks- but think about that person that just stole pixels. I almost feel sorry for them. I mean honestly a person that does that in a computer game must just be sad in real life. It did not happen often though so I felt comfortable keeping my policy in place with the bank. Now I never had it so open that someone that had been there a day could empty it.. but they could take things. So maybe if there is a way to set limits in this game you should.

Sorry that happened to you but just know that the people in your guild that can access the bank from your trust appreciate it and hopefully you will not get someone like that again. I would hate to think that one sorry person would change your view of the game and the way you treat your other guild members.

In the end it is all computer generated crap.. and you will get that crap back :P don’t stress to hard about it.

I will add mantras to this- They sound interesting and I have only tried the briefly but having to charge a spell.. it sucks.

I have not tried mimic but after reading this it sounds interesting. I thought after you absorbed the projectile it was just there to shoot back. I will have to check this out.

Also posting that f4 is not working with illusionary retribution.. no confusion is added to the target with this skill even though it is stated that all shatter skills will inflict confusion

I think you have better luck putting in the exotics from what I have read. The rare route may be more expensive in the long run since you have to put more in. I personally just gave up for now lol and the game is so much more fun now.

Unless you just really think that skin is so amazing you will never want a different one it is not worth it. The post also mentions adding new legendaries I believe, so it could be in 6 months there is a skin that you like much better and will be that much closer to it instead of getting one that you kind of like now.

It should have a title. It is a lot of time and work to finish them all. I still have a few left and plan on getting them all, but yeah there should be something for you at the end. Even a chest like you get with the area completed would be nice

You seem pretty set to try out JQ so I would go there first… personally being on SBI there is no way I could go there myself lol. I have built a hate for them and love to kill the JQ people :P

If you do not like it I highly recommend SBI. I have been here since headstart and it is a great server imo.

The only one I use is signet of inspiration in dungeons only.

Why not go try it out. You have 7 days before you can transfer again and it did not sound like the pay to transfer would be active then. I think that tier 1 and 2 have high pops. I could see tarnished coast having a high pve population. I am on Stormbluff and enjoy it.

You know that blind only has a 10% chance to cause a blind to miss, right? It’s good but it can’t shut down bosses like it can do other mobs.

I think this maybe incorrect. The blinds have always missed.. but it is only for 1 attack so even if there is time left they only miss 1 time and the debuff wears off. I never have seen a % associated with it

That is the profane armor from the gem store minus the helm and shoulders. I was worried it would be too much skin for me lol but I actually really love it. It has lacey type detail on it too.

Yeah it starts out as colors I think I would like but seeing a dye tab with so few colors just seems wrong lol.

I realize that it was stated that you were suppose to have a color palette for your characters.. and not get them all.. but I cannot do that!

I started out on a ranger and had a pretty extensive dye collection. I shelved her and made a mesmer- who I love and have made my main. I have every dye on her now. I have no idea why I feel the need to do this, nor do I use all the colors. I think I just feel that I might like the color at some point so I need to have it on her.

Anyway now I have tried to make other alts but it bothers me that they have no colors, but at the same time I do not feel like investing the gold in them like I did my mesmer. In a way it makes me not want to play the alts.

Is there anyone else that feels this way? I know it is weird lol but I just can’t help it :P
