Yeah I do all that.. guess I am just unlucky.. seriously my drops are mostly bones and some salvage items, next highest is blues and moldy bags with the occasional green and mats. Rares I have gotten maybe 6 total out of all the times I have been out there and no exotics. I just stopped going was not fun or worth my time. I went because of posts like this that made it sound like a gold mine… it is not that way for everyone. I tried for maybe 2 months and just decided it was not for me. Maybe if I made 6 g when I was there I would think differently.

You are very lucky and honestly I doubt many could claim to make that much from those. I usually get no rares and am lucky to get over 1 gold from this in an hour. I have never gotten an exotic. And yes I am usually in a full party which is suppose to make you rich.. I do get more but not near 6g. You had a lucky day is all I see here.

Wait you mean wvw guilds still transfer even though it costs money and those that followed them may indeed end up on a server that starts to have a lower population even though they made sure to hurry and catch the train while it was free? Who would have thought that could happen?

Found it a good read. I agree with most of it.

They are going to lose their pvp base. Their pvp is very boring and i am not even competitive in it. I still really like the game but I don’t long on every day even now. I am bored. My wvw is either dead with no one playing or fun for maybe an hour and then dies. Spvp is fun for maybe 30mins to an hour but has no reward for me to really find myself wanting to go play it. Even in wow I could take my low characters in to pvp matchs and have fun, gain experience, and money/gear to use outside the pvp area.. I am not sure why that is such a no no here.

So anyone who enjoys pvp, even casually imo, can get bored easily and begin to search for greener pastures.

I am probably just naive- but how do you know they were trying to harm your team? Maybe they truly thought they were helping out?

I think the inner onces are suppose to be lace like and lighter.. but my dyes always look pretty accurate on mine— I suppose a tad lighter?

I still really like the armor though :P

Well 1 thing I noticed is it works best if your clones are different distances. If the daze wears off before another clone hits then the next clone to hit dazes as well. So if you have a melee clone and a ranged clone you can get 2 dazes if you time it right

What fun at SM. SBI got it for the first time in awhile then YB there to take it from us and then all of a sudden we are fighting CD on the other side! Very fun.

I got a flag bonus today that was guild item research for an extra 10% to loot rare items. I do not see this flag to make it through my guild. What tab is this located on?

You can guest for free.. also wow charges to change servers I want to say it is about 30 bucks… so you would be paying a monthly charge and paying to server transfer there.

Well if you are looking at those servers I always recommend SBI.

Because last week we were facing SoR who is huge compared to us after we lost so many— we had no chance.. the score this week especially against CD is much closer and much funner. If you hate it leave… I have enjoyed the people so much more this week because they are here for the server and fun.. if you hate it so much nothing is keeping you here but yourself.

Well SBI is not “dead”. Smaller groups yes and we cannot cover all the maps at once- but this week has been a blast! And the chat for the most part is lively as well, no trolls, we are rooting for each other. Honestly I like it so much more now!.. We just need a nice win to boost that moral and we are set.. but this week even in 3rd we are playing and having fun.

Good fight this morning SBI in EB! 2 hours trying to hold that keep was crazy.

Just out of curiosity- Is this skin the only one that seems to come from a certain drop? Seems odd that every other skin can be a random drop or mystic forge random.

That is exactly right enLight but there are some that really want it to be another issue. It could not be that their ideal wvw server is not as green as they imagined it to be. Seriously 3 million copies of the game sold.. mass exodus off servers was not 1 or 2 hundred players it was more likely 1000s. It would be interesting to see the servers that are having this bug, my guess would be JQ, SoS, Kan, FA, TC, SoR, and maybe BG and TC. Have to say that Yaks bend is the only one I have seen complain that does not make sense— maybe there were quieter guilds that went there idk.

Again sorry for the original in inhabitants of those server it certainly does suck that you have this but I find it hard to believe that the mass transfers are not the root cause of your horrendous queue times.

Really this is the most I have seen on in days.. and a small queue on eb now! We can do it sbi!

Numbers at this stage in the game matter more than tactics. Hopefully that will be addressed.

Well there is space on the other servers.. you know the ones that got abandoned for the next great thing. SBI has no queue on any map.

Every day there are a few posts asking for number increases, new maps, something that anet should do.. how about maybe- just maybe, consider your choice as a player and guild not to choose such high wvw population servers?

I am truly sorry for the players that had been on servers since the beginning and having to face queues because of the mass transfers, but honestly most of those servers were asking people to move there. Sure there was a 5 min queue before you attracted 1000s of new players. Just think what the queue will be with the new wvw additions that are suppose to be coming.

I do not think it is right that everyone crammed into 4 or 5 servers knowing that there are max capacity for maps and then complain about having to wait. That was something that should have been considered before moving imo.

Again sorry if it was your server before and if it is a weird bug that sucks and hope it is fixed, but seriously consider how many people moved in the last week expecting their wvw experience to be so amazing now that they are on “the” server to be on.

I hope they do not raise the population caps so that maybe there will be people that do transfer to the lower population servers and in time maybe they will all be somewhat even and fun for everyone involved.

I agree it does need rewards. It is fun but I don’t do it much because there is not much of a point imo.

Most of that also said don’t stack the servers and that it is best to spread out lol. And that was 4 months ago… I guess some people never learn. What will be really interesting to see is how the queues are for those huge servers if the wvw additions are really good and even more people want to wvw that have been taking a break. Lol

If it is a bug then yeah I hope it gets fixed. If it is just all the sheep enjoying what they caused- I hope it was worth it. Freaking out to server hop because a few large guilds went there and now crying that you have to wait to play- hilarious.

Yes you are missing stuff. There are sign posts, start by the entrance to Diessa Plateau, fix the signs and follow them to each next sign. Along the way, you will find fallen refugees, go to them and take the momentos. Give these momentos to collectors at the camps. You may also find wounded refugees, assist them. Finally, there are new DEs, participate in them.

You didn’t see any vandalized sign posts? They were easy to spot on my server, simply follow the herd of players.

I did in wayfarer but not in the Disseau plateau area. But maybe that is coming later? Seems odd since the signs seemed to be coming from that way and pointing you towards the norn homeland. You would think if anything you would start in Disseau Platuea and then wayfarer would have been later.

Sometimes I have to check the remember card box, and then I uncheck it. Seems to make the confirm light up.

Definitely do not go by this week. We still have some really strong and loyal commanders but I think that since it is so imbalanced this week many are just not playing wvw. Since you have to pay to move now anyway you may as well wait and see what happens once we are in the right bracket.

And like I said I truly do feel sorry for those people. The players that ditched out I have no sympathy for. You all did it to yourselves and I hope it was worth it because it messed up the other servers as well.

I found it crazy to see servers that I knew were very full recruiting saying oh it’s maybe a 5 min queue, that may have been the case before you attracted 1000s of players. I can only imagine what it will be like now.

There is no way they can add a map just for 3 servers because everyone thought they wanted to be there. They would have to add the map to all the servers and honestly some of the servers do not have the players for 3 maps and adding another would not be in the best interest for everyone.

Make it so a single person can have an impact or fun on low populated maps. There are some days I swear I am the only person on a map and not sure what I could do by myself.

Or.. maybe people should have considered queues before the mass exodus to 3 or 4 servers. Sorry if it was your original server but that is way it goes.

Pretty sure you will have to pay. I don’t understand why you would compare it to buying a new game though, you lose your characters and everything . I guess if he is ok with that then whatever- still seems silly to me. If you moved servers in another game it would set you back 30.00 so not sure why it is such a dramatic experience in this game.

Ok, it is early so I may be slow, but is this a correct understanding:

I have a level 10 character. I buy the backpack and use the blank back that it comes with because I have not gotten a back piece yet. My character cannot use the gem store skin ever again if I plan on upgrading my back slot? However, if I use a level 30ish character that already has a back slot and use that to transmute then I can transmute the skin once I am a higher level?

If that is the case it seems like surely they made a mistake in thinking and will correct it because even the armor skins can be used over and over at the cost of transmute stones.

No they are from the orrian jewel boxes.. I got 2 charged lodestones out of 20 boxes and yes I sold them as soon as I got them because I figured the price would drop.

WHere do you see new karma armor I have not seen it.

Forgot about my karma jugs I had been saving I got the minipet and a glacial lodestone as well after about 10 more boxes. Not too bad if you have nothing else to spend karma on imo.
