The ones we found were a bit outside the path. So if you follow the path it is just outside it. They are hard to see though

I have not been selling mine. Love the new ectos but they are stocking up in my bank.. so that could be it.. people are keeping them rather than selling them. I will sell yellows if I do not feel lucky but ectos I do not sell anymore.. lesson learned after selling them early in the game because I did not “need” them lol.

I did them without help from the internet. It says to talk to the refugees and they tell you what they are missing and where they are from. I also recall there being a character there telling you that they probably walked off the path and the things could be buried. My husband and I walked outside the paths but the general areas and found them together fairly easily. I think they have multiple spawn points.. but not really hard to locate- without the internet help.

I thought you were saying this was in already lol. I was about to log on. I doubt any backpacks will be available (originally) without the gems store.. seems to be a bit of a gold mine.

Myself and another officer are really really pushing to get the puzzle one ASAP. We actually voted and swayed everybody to unluck the puzzle mission first, not realizing you had to start at bounty and work your way up. leader quickly reneged on opening up puzzles lol

I think it depends how you play wvw. There are differant builds. If you are more of a roamer then the shatter build with the set up you have is really strong.
If you go with the group I recommend a confusion glamour build. It gives you the most aoe capability I use a staff GS with a glamour build and find it fun. I just like the glamour build the best though and even when I am roaming I use it and am pretty strong.

Lol Well I am sure that you can find some people on most servers than.. I would say that the higher the wvw the server is the more presence there is on the server 24 hours. So Jade Quarry (probably the largest server) Blackgate, and Sanctum of Rall those are the largest. If you want a large server but not that large I would look in the servers that are in tiers 3 or 4.

I am on SBI and I really like the server I am just not sure on those hours for you. I think we have a bit of a population during that time. Crystal Desert and Maguuma I think do as well.

I want to say Sea of Sorrows was the unofficial oceanic server at the beginning. They just had some people leave so not sure if that is still the case.

I agree with you on this. Although I really don’t care for the mesmer sounds either. I leveled a Ranger first and I think because it was just so quiet with the animations that I could hear the background music and kill things lol. I have not found another character that I find like this.. I just got tired of my pet always being dead and my f2 skill not going off

Mesmers are very fun to play though so it makes up for the sounds lol.

I would say go mesmer. I find them more fun than a necro

I noticed I had trouble taking a supply camp this morning .. I have never had a problem before and have taken many supply camps by myselft— this time I was downed 2 times I was not sure if it was a mesmer nerf or the camp guys got a buff.

It usually will pop up right after the event is over.. people do not stick around long.

I saw a post I think in the other overflow post that people are guesting heavily because they can get the chests on all their 80 characters. You could do this on your home server and wait for the timers.. but of course they said they did not have time for that so they guest so that they can get the chests on 6 characters as quickly as possible.

I love the GS and always go back to it when I try something else. It works fine with a shatter build as well.

Why? Took me a few months to unlock them in gw1 I got it because I wanted them unlocked in this game like many many people did.

Also you can still unlock them if you really really want it. The mask is not hard to get unlocked.

Honestly the only thing that is not clipped on my characters is the full armor sets and the weapons- aside from the shield.

There are some cool gloves in there as well.. cant use them because of clipping.

That mask clips really bad anyway. I wanted to use it from day 1 but clips horribly.. it is a waste.

I have seen many people change characters. Seems to be fine, not sure if it matters if they are the leader or not though.

btw i agree with you, best mmo i have ever played,and i played a lot of em, and not just mmos but all kinds of games. this is by far the game that gives the most for a normal price nowadays.

I want to apologize to IOJ and DR for SBI running the table and getting everything. Apparently the server has forgotten what the feels like, I sincerely hope we get bumped up somehow 2 or 3 tiers and zerged 24-7 for about 3 weeks. Maybe that will weed out more fair weather players and cause the server to realize it isn’t smart to stack 500+ points for 3 weeks straight.

We do have everything in the mornings.. I was worried the first morning I saw this, however, by evening it is split fairly evenly. I would say if anything it gives the other teams lots to take over in the afternoon.. that is what I see these past few days anyway.

I got on this morning to drink coffee all green, back from school, red has their bl back and there are multiple colors all around.

So I would not see it as a bad thing. They get to get it back and get karma, xp, loot all that stuff in taking it back.

The only thing that makes me crazy with alts is dyes. But you can get a nice pallet for about 1g so it is not all that bad.

How do you know they are guesting? Just curious is there a mark or something?

Just read this issue as well- basically people went into the event area and did not participate so the npc scaled but did not have the correct amount of people attacking it. The guild failed because the npc was scaled too high from people dancing.

The dragon events do have little events that lead up to them.. although it only takes a few to complete them and it is really fast most people just wait at the spawn point.

So you lost your influence or you just have to wait for respawn?. And the guild that killed them got nothing.. they did it just to mess with you or did they have it started as well just you all are going after the same target? . sorry just really interested in what happened here and a bit confused.

OK, kitten this I’ve been trying to not burst about this crap, but now that I’ve tried it…

We got the mission we had like 30 ppl on in scouting the map, guess what we discovered there were 2 other guild camping the NPC and just killed it as we got there. Very funny ANet, very funny. Think about what you are doing next time. This content is pointless as it is !

If another guild kills your bounty you should at least RESET the timer for all other guilds on the same bounty.

There isn’t even a friendly guild to guild environment anymore. Everyone want a piece of the pie and noone wants anyone else to get it. So much fun!

I think you right people will not be willing to help. So small guilds that finally build up the influence will fail.

So the people that do not have a queue never get to see the new maze? You see the flaw there right? If you have a queue and don’t want to wait you have to server transfer.. that is your only option. If they add something for the few servers that are packed full then the majority of the servers- that do not have a queue- will be hurt.

Except there are not queues on every server.. in fact some servers cannot fill the 4 maps that are available. Your option to avoid queues is to server transfer.

Recently arriving from Mag, this server is a breath of fresh air …

There aren’t two or three 30+ man, ultra culling, CPU draging Zergs on each Map

From what I gathered over the past few days the standard roaming zerg is 8-13 and rarely there is +20 person zerg (prime-time last night). There are a good many solos, duos and trios running around.

The population level on this match-up really caters to our guild’s small man skirmishing play-style.

For me this match-up is anything but boring!

Yeah it was much more lively later today.. when I posted that this morning the whole map was nearly green but maybe 2 slots lol. Tonight has been fun. So I take it back :P

I want to say that there were multiple sites before guesting went live, that provided posts/polls for people to chose a designated pve server to guest on. I believe TC always won that.

Perhaps before guesting went live it was a good idea in thinking.. your server would always be active. But now you see how many go over it seems to be excessive? Idk I stay on my server- I guested the first few days on TC and SoS starter areas. seemed to be about the same- guess it picked up.

Kind of like all the people that went to a few servers for WvW for some reason in this game the players like to cram into as tight of space as possible regardless of the negative things that could happen.

I know you can’t salvage whites from vendors so maybe those were originally bought from a vendor? Not sure if those items are soulbound though I have never checked.

I thought people stopped doing peni/shelter now that a champion is there to kill everyone.

Also if you have 3-5 guildies and get the influence you will not have enough people to complete the event— it states you need 6 min. And the rewards for helping a guild out with these are just like a normal de for those not in the guild so not sure you can get outsiders to be interested in helping you complete it.

What is the strategy for Devona’s Rest? Try and get as much points in before SBI come for them? Thank you DR, for kicking us why we’re down, i wont be trying for Wildcreek anymore, Durios it is.

Lol last night in I believe IoJ borderland we were going for bay (sbi) the gate refilled. DR had taken it from the other side although we did not know it at the time. They started flooding out lol. We still took it from dr right after though :P

This is not the case anymore. In fact just last night (possibly the night before) Someone came into EB chat and said we needed help in SBI borderlands. They were told to let them take it- we could get it back easy later. So yeah that is the case these days. We don’t really care if it gets taken because we will get it back.

Can’t confirm it but there are guild tags I am not familiar with and we went from high pop to very high this week as far as a server. So I think it is safe to say that we have had some people either start playing again or transfer.

Well EB has had a queue lately so I have no idea how many that is. I would say I have been in a group of about 40 here lately on that map. The borderlands can be anywhere from 5-20ish maybe 30 on 1 map not all 3 —- prime time. If that makes sense lol 1 borderland will have the majority with a few scattered groups on the other 2. That is what it looks like to me anyway.

There are players on all the maps nowadays.. We use to have to combine to get a small group on 1 map and usually it was our borderland.

Lol yeah I want to like it but always go back to my normal build
