Is it not working in overflow at all? I skipped the change over because I had been here so long I didn’t want to miss it.. now I am regretting that decision.

I have gotten them off of drops as well.. have not seen them from the coffers. I am finding it hard to believe that they do.

Well it is your choice but I would if I didn’t want them but I don’t know for sure :P

What I noticed before the patch and have not seen since is that sometimes 2 would drop off of 1 kill. So maybe that was fixed and that is why there are less now.

I think it is because of the candy corn.. look at how much is still left. So this will give people to buy it up and clear it out in mass quantities. The candy will probably hit 1 c and that will make the wings like 10g.

You can get wings in the normal chests?

I said it in another thread— I have no problem waiting and if I see you running I do.. however, if you get there and 1 shot everything before I can even tag it (happened multiple times) I will not wait for you again.

Weird that it says it is a rare drop in the coffer you would think it would be something worth going for

The description of the rich coffer says recipes may be in it. What recipes are there?

This problem didn’t happen in the other festivals. Anet needs to find out why players are doing this.

Because it is the first night. It will calm down. And it did happen in the other festivals but the creatures that came out of the boxes were harder to kill.

I wait .. but about half of the people I wait for go crazy and kill everything before I even get a shot in— after I waited for them to get there! I remember who they were and then do not wait for them again. So it goes both ways.. I have no problem waiting and I do but if you get up there and 1 shot everything I will not wait for you again.

Went to go do a quick jumping puzzle at the cave for the daily and lost my 50s. I guess it cancels out if you go to far even if you pay.

My guess is that it may not be tickets but actual skins.. but maybe the rich ones have a skin in them. So still rng but you get a skin each chest.

I am with you.. I keep everything :P Husband gives me a hard time but I may need that stuff lol. A closet of some sort would help me out a ton though.

yes I will get 1.. I am too cheap to get them for more than 1 character lol but I definatly like not having to worry about running out.. which I would do all the time and of course by something I really wanted to gather :P

I just went in on Stormbluff and it says no settlements 0/4 are taken but there are no events at them.

I think if they had just made the weapons sellable on the tp there would have been less people upset.

So why are people complaining? Did people actually try to do it as a group before complaining there wasn’t an option?

I have no idea how they did that as a group. Maybe it was changed but when we went in as a group it split us into our own instance for the first story part. The 5 man instance is against Null.

I would like to second this.. yes let it be able to be done solo but making that your only option stinks. Tried to do it with my husband the first day and we were a bit confused lol

I agree with this.. also sometimes it is hard to tell if there is new text or not because there is nothing separating the old text.

I don’t have video proof and maybe it was 3 before and not all of them— I could be wrong on that part— but I can promise you it was more than 1 per tick.

Well what I am saying the tool tip was correct a few months ago.. null field, the last time I used it would strip all the boons and conditions… instantly. There was not a tick needed. It is incorrect now and null field now makes you wait ticks to remove conditions/boons… This is new. I guess as Nordic stated it was changed sometime ago.. I guess 2-3 months since it has been about that long since I have used it.

That is what it does now…. it use to remove all of them instantly.

I have not had null field on my bar in a bit so maybe I just missed it in an update.. but today I was in wvw and when I dropped it instead of removing all my conditions at once, like it use to, I had to wait a tick for each condition to be removed. Was this in patch notes? Is it new? Is it a bug?

I love null field but waiting for ticks kinda stinks since the tool tip has not changed.

I have posted I was new and gotten groups fyi so do not be scared to let people know you are new.. It is more frustrating to not know someone is new and have them doing weird stuff lol.

Well you don’t need a guild to run dungeons.. It may help I guess depending on what kind and how large the guild is. I am in a guild that is just my husband and I.. I use gw2lfg and have not had any issues for grouping.

So everyone gets down scaled to the level of the dungeon? This means that just like in WvW, level is not an important difference in dungeons? (other than experience)

You are down leveled.. but 80s have all their skills available to them so it does make it easier to be a higher level. I am not sure how the gear effects it.

There should be a mail that shows you were the dungeon entrance is. You get it as soon as you are high enough level to enter. At 32 I think you are only high enough for AC story.. Ascalonian Catacombs. It is in the charr area. You will need a group to do even story. At 35 you can do explorable mode in that dungeon. You will get a mail each time a dungeon is available to you and it will have a show me button attached to show you where the entrance is.

To enter the dungeon you have to be in the area it is in— you cannot be waiting in Lion’s Arch and enter from there, 1 person has to go into the actual portal for the dungeon and then the rest can hit accept to be ported in as long as they are in the zone for the dungeon.

Highly recommend using gw2lfg to get the group— there are ones for story dungeons as well— so make sure it says story or exp depending on what you want. Map chat works for some dungeons, but it can take much longer to fill then using the website.

Some groups are great.. some you get a person like that. I had one group with a person like that last night because no one would give him the grab at the end of the game for the achiev.. that apparently is not how you get it anyway.

I just leave group and requeue. Most people seem to be having fun with it.

I hope you reported them for the abuse though so they can get a 3 day ban to learn some manners.

Some people cannot play 6 hours in 1 or 2 days.. so that could be 6 days to get the achievement for them or even more if they do not have 6 days to play an hour consecutively. So it may have not been long for you.. but there are others that play the game that it could take longer… up until it is the deadline. Sometimes you have to think outside yourself and your schedule.

I do it to be nice honestly and never expect a tip, but yesterday at the southshore jp I got 1.5 g and an omnoberry bar for about 30 mins.. I was so thankful. So I appreciate it but never expect it. The southshore jp is hard so I think that more people realize how much a portal helps there.. the eb puzzle eh it’s easy and more of just a convenience I think.

50 s is much cheaper than the runes I use.. It is about 6 -10 g for a set if I want to change runes

No it is not the prices being messed with as far as I can tell— it is just the mass amount that is required to make 1 food buff for 1 hour.

If they sell the sickle and axe at the same time the gem exchange will become outrageous.

I know the goal is to get people to spend RL $ on gems, but I feel at some point even the occasional gem store purchase for gold is going to become out of reach for the average player.

You have to remember though if people are not giving them money they have no money to pay their staff or pay for a building or anything business related.. so if everything you wanted in the game was easy to get with gold then no one would use money. Cannot have the game without them making real life money to pay people making content and things for you to enjoy in the game.

And really most things they add are under 10.00 worth of gems so unless you just go full out crazy then that is less than most subscription games.

Also before you think they get tons from box sells.. just remember ncsoft gets most of that money.. they get their money from the gems store.
