I hope so or else I have 6 scraps that will just sit there since I don’t plan on buying any more keys atm.. though 5 tickets seems really high. I am hoping when new skins are released they have an introductory 2 weeks at 1 ticket like these.

I guess the wording is not the same.. if you pick “lets do it again”- it takes you to 4.. although my understanding reading that meant lets do that level again.

Just got back into town and was checking things out a bit last night so I went into the Kiel and Gnashblade trials but did not do too much. This morning I tried to complete the candidate trials. I finished Kiel through 4 and went back to Gnashblade to try to finish up.. and I cannot get out of levels 2 and 3. I have no option to go up in Tier 3 and when I try to go down to tier 1 I can only go down to level 2 even when I click lets go down a couple of notches. So not sure what to do.

Any ideas on how I can get tier 4 to happen here? I have the first achievement and 1 block in the next section.

Well :P I understand I can buy them.. sorry should have been more clear lol (ty though :P).. but are they open world drops or are they from certain things or the new pvp games?

Could someone please clarify all the ways these can be obtained? I thought there were more ways than the blc but not certain.

So it is a loss of 110 from any stat you go for in any other set it seems— but you gain 110 in all the other stats.

Boots +15 all stats +2% Crit, 3% magic
Coat- +45 all stats, 6% crit damage, 3%magic
Glove- +15 all stat, 2% crit damage, 3% magic
Mask- +20 all stat, 3% crit, 3% magic
Shoulder + 15 all stat, 2% crit, 3% magic find

Yeah I’ll just write it down .. be a min lol

I could not find it online so took screen shots. Right now I am in Rabid and you can see it is not that much of a stat loss to gain everything else imo.

I am really thinking of making this set. I have a set of almost every other set but this set really appeals to me for some reason. My thinking is that I change builds and weapon sets all the time (basically every patch :P) So I thought this may be good for that. I also play a shatter/condition hybrid so it could very well be optimal for my build.

Anyone else looking at this set?

I can’t believe no one mentioned it so far: you get those in “heavy loot bags” from the tradingpost. Those drop in WvW and include kite fortunes sometimes. The droprate is far more efficient than farming baskets.

Actually I did :P but if all they want is back pieces is it cheaper to buy them off the ah then get the loot bags.

I got a charged the first mine as well but never again lol.

Also the quartz is in loot bags which I believe is a wvw bag

You can buy the recipes and the quartz.

BlueSoda is correct. It is all fine and dandy if there are groups that want to let people win for an achievement but the fact that they are being attacked for playing the game the way it was intended is completely wrong on all those players parts. I hope they all get a 3 day ban for it personally.

I would just hold on to the gold you never know what will change the market and you could lose big picking the wrong thing.

Here is how I did it for him
Bluff every time. Even if I had to drink I still took less damage then drinking and then I could get a bluff in when it let me. Drink water right after he belches since I knew it could not be blocked. I belched on him when my life was getting low to keep from having to drink.

I found that odd as well. I have never seen a recipe have a level requirement to learn it.. and it is account bound items so I cannot figure any reasoning behind it at all. I had 1 crafting profession on a lower level character so I guess those will just eat up space until I decide to level her.

Just bluff every time and drink water right after they belch. If you get low use your belch to give you some breathing room. That is what I did and it worked very well.

Fear not, for nobody gets an undeserved first whenever I race. I usually finish with about 4:40 left on the clock and then exit the race so I can start another. It’s no cof farm, but at least it’s a fun way to make some ok gold.

How is it faster to leave and get a new one? Seems like even if I join with over 6 mins on the clock I don’t get a chest because I joined late.

The recipes are still pretty cheap on the AH I made sure to get 1 of each and learn it just in case 1 day I wanted to make it. Told my husband to do the same.

I did it for the bag of loot at the end lol even if I lose 10 silver for 4 mins is not bad :P

Just buy the back pieces off the tp probably cheaper in the long run… or you can get heavy loot bags and they have a really high drop rate but the price is pretty high now.

I can see where you are coming from. I don’t mind letting people get the achiev but if they don’t earn it and you are playing the game I do not think they should be mean towards you. They can drop the group and try joining another one imo.

Well there are the flame and frost ones which are pretty cool. I just wish there were more color options.

I got a few from the flame and frost and love them just wish there were other options than the blues and oranges.

Any plans for new ones with a new color spectrum?

You may just want to ask before the race starts if you can cross first. There was someone who made a post about the group they were in waiting at the finish line and not crossing so others could get this achiev.

I was looking at my sun catcher and it seems like most of the animation is only visible from the side. So maybe there is a fix for it and it is a bug. I wish I could see it from the back and front like the other 2.

It has a rainbowy type effect but it needs to be increased in size and the colors darkened a bit.. it is hard to see but is my favorite of the 3 if they just make it more visible.

Lol well if I lose my account for letting my son play around in the new event then I guess that’s life.

This is by far my favorite of the new back pieces, but it feels so muted compared to the other 2 that have very obvious effects. I wonder if I could put in a request to amp up the effects a bit on this one?

Did you use the stability one? That is the one I was missing. It is where your heal skill is.

Yep I got 2 back pieces from about a stack of heavy loot bags ( the tickets I got from it) Had I known that I could just buy the back pieces off the ah I would have done that though. So unless you want the helm I would just buy them from the ah

Has anyone seen this completed? I have delivered a few times but it just takes too much and no one is doing it.

Also what is the reward? Is it just the normal karma?

Yes kite fortunes have them. You can get them from the gems store, turning in mats to vendors, mobs, and I found some in heavy loot bags.

Just happened to open a bag and got one. After spending countless mats and only getting 4 fortunes I was pretty happy lol. I don’t recall reading it anywhere but may have missed it.

I don’t see one but it would be amazing if his assistant would tell you how long to the next show when you talk to him.

I just realized I had some in my bag and clicked them lol. Very neat.

Wow those are nice weapons!

I don’t think you could ever get them from the normal coffers.

Something that opens all the waypoints for all your characters. Leveling alts and getting to their story stinks! And you would still have to work for your world explorer with this because you would still need hearts and pois.

I do not recall it being a plasma gun. Engineers have a gun that shoots stuff like that though. Elixer gun I think
