This build worked for me.. cleansing signets and heals are a must. I used runes of air for speed boost, and orrian truffle soup as well.

Very well could be.. just glad I got mine when the event was up. If the recipes are never available again and someone wants a set they will have to pay whatever price is being asked for the recipes.

There are also many people who did not realize they had to have the recipe for the armor/accessories and the insignia/jewel and they may just now be starting to craft so that could be eating up a few.

Who knows.. but if you ever decide you do in fact want a set it is best to have the recipe and be safe imo. I am making my set but waiting until after the magic find change to decide which runes to put in it. The magic find change could be really great and make the set really good to have.

They were not that rare.. it was just a matter of not getting what you wanted lol. I bought maybe 15 total and ended up with 3 dyes. It was 1 5 pack of each and then I bought a few singles. I will say getting a fine dye sucked though

Do we have any idea when this may happen? I have been building a celestial set but am hesitant to put runes in it. I don’t mind the set not being used much by my character but taking a month to make I really don’t want to salvage it for runes. So if it is a bad change I would rather have cheap runes in there :P

Am I misunderstanding these? I saw a post saying you could get lucky from bl chest and get a character to 80 but it says you get a character to level 20 and only usable on characters under 80. Seems like they are really only good for a new character and only 1 time on that character.

It is only when you lose that you hate rng :P (I know that is more often than not lol) Not that I am going to throw tons at it but I would love love love to have that hair kit and when that box was out I thought it was in the bl chests. So yeah I will be willing to cry over it a bit if I lose but getting another chance to open boxes or just buy one would be fine by me :P

Just had a thought— I wonder if like crates/ boxes will be in there from the events.. I would love a shot at a permanent hair styling kit! :P

If it does not give you a chance at runes/sigils then no it is not worth it imo- and being equal to a basic salvage kit? Nope will not get my money and I buy almost everything :P

Is this a typo and it will recover upgrades- at least some chance? What kit is it equal to -basic? For 10 bucks the description is really lacking some clarification would be great. I would hope that is better than a basic salvage kit for the price!

Only light female T2 glows. Tier 1 and 3 don’t glow either.

Is this true for all the other armors— heavy and medium? Or none of those have a glow?

I would like to know or see a return of all the living story items from the past. It was mentioned that the next living story update would tie everything together from all the previous stories so what better way than to offer the limited story items 1 final time before the story is over? There are characters that I did not play as much when some items where out that I really missed out on. I am fairly certain I am not alone in this.

Gathering tools, limited dyes, skins, minis.. why not let us have 1 more shot at these guys and then take them away forever with the story?!

After the story with this patch and the illusions cast on the watchmen to look like other things.. maybe they could sell a mesmer illusion in the gems store- it would be essentially a race change but it is an illusion

Well considering the only negative in this so far is the cost of gems— I really hope they consider adding everything back for a final finale I missed a few things and would love 1 more shot at them. I can see them not returning after the whole living story is tied up and the next one begins.

So fingers crossed.. finale final gem purchases everything from the living stories leading up to the finale available one last time

You have to use all but 1. Fire is easier than crowd favorite.

Is there a timer on them? Sometimes when I go to pick them up and try to toss them they just disappear.

Celestial is almost too bright for me on most armors.

If you really want to get into the story you have to talk to NPCs and really study the environment because it provides you with a lot of clues you would otherwise miss. I’m also pretty sure that Braham and Rox recognize you as long as you did the Flame and Frost content.

I talk to all the NPC’s and Rox and Braham do not remember you in the pavillion area. I did the frost and flame too.

I did forget about that jp.. It was fun but I really liked the Halloween and Christmas ones so I guess I just forgot about it.

I don’t think a year after a game has been out it is crazy to think about adding a new area to explore- new hearts, events, stories, ect. I don’t know what is the normal time frame on these things?

I still play the game a good bit and I get all the achievements for these living stories, talk to the npcs ect. I guess that is all I have to look forward to then. I don’t think I am alone in thinking that an expansion would be good at this point in the game, but I guess that is not in the cards. The living stories have potential but as of right now they just seem off to me.. and not fulfilling- They are fun, but not the same as an expansion.

I was attempting the gauntlet today and after maybe 5 deaths and saying ty for being rezzed there I could no longer talk. These were not back to back and I was not saying anything else in chat so it seems a little extreme and after 10 mins I still cannot talk in chat. Is this a bug or is this really how message suppressing works- 5 ty in a 10 min span and I can no longer talk?

Let me start by stating I love this game. I played the betas was there at 1 am for opening night to get my names and characters and I still play for hours everyday. That said it is starting to get old. I like the living stories but it is like your teams are so disconnected from one another that nothing flows.

Let’s look at the last 2- we went from an election to a jubilee. They have nothing to do with one another and characters we have seen from previous living stories do not know us. There is no living story it is 2 weeks of achievement spam with no growth on our characters. Living stories could work if they connected and went on to work with each other instead of just ending.

Where is the exploration we once had? Going into new areas and finding the jumping puzzle and the hidden secrets. They are gone and we need new ones. In fact when is the last time a new jumping puzzle was given to us? I think it may have been Christmas.

There are only so many stale achievements and skins you can throw at us before the interest is gone. There has been no new content for us to explore only achievements that require clicking or going quickly to a waypoint and then leaving. It saddens me to see that there is nothing happening for my character.

Living stories are a great idea if you get them to work together and actually create a story for our characters to go through that matters. All I am getting out of it is a few lines of text and achievement points for 2 weeks and then the next one rolls out with no connection what so ever- and if there are repeat characters they do not remember you.

Anyway I hope that makes sense. I love this game and plan to play for years but how many years can you take 2 week content that just makes you feel like you are grinding out achievement points?

Why can I not loot the ones I have never gotten. I understand you can only get them 1 time each- ever- but I went to get the ones I missed after my achievement and they are already open- even though I have never been there. I really don’t understand the reasoning behind this.. basically it tells me get your achievement and get out of here. Why cannot it not be a daily reset? Why can I not get the chest I had not gotten before the achievement. Makes no sense. You say you want people to want to be out in the open world but then you block them from content.

Well you don’t get blood, bones, or any other mats when you salvage other items so my guess would be they are gone.

I went after it was said to have been nerfed.. I got a new loot bag off of every champion I killed in there for the events. Maybe dr? Or maybe there were more champions in there?

I just checked and LA to Earthshake for Claw of Jormag is 1.88 I am pretty sure it was closer to 3 silver before.

It is actually very similar to the mad king labyrinth from Halloween. I don’t think that ruined the economy or had people freaking out.

45 mins a day on a game you do not like? That seems odd to me. Some people that is all they have available to play.

With 45 min of game per day, I have the same stuff, the same skin, the same advantage than a player who play 8 hours per day.

I personally love this game and the way it is set up.. but it sounds like what you want is pvp where the players that have played a long time and have gear can one shot new pvp players that have not played long enough to gain gear.. I hate that in other games and love that it is based on how you play not how long you have played.

Well then what about the skins or items that are no longer available.. lets say someone bought them without even thinking of flipping just got them while they were available. They then decide they do not want them any more but oops they are now bound because they bought them off the tp… And on the other hand someone wants a skin that is no longer available but they cannot get it off the tp now because they are all bound to people even if they never got used by them.
Stuff would become more expensive because less and less would be available. If you have leftovers that you got from the tp you would be stuck with them.

I am on sbi and was there for the achievement for the kiel support.. I don’t know if this is a new thing or not there but some people do get a bit crazy with it. I mean really how boring is that to just run around like that? Hopefully it is just for the achievements that are going on right now. I have seen a couple of negative things said in chat when someone – god forbid- killed a champ before they got there. I think those people need to calm down a bit myself and if harassing players they need to be reported and get a 3 day ban to simmer down.

Just an fyi when I bought this last year for hom there was a set with all 3 expansions that was cheaper than 1 expansion alone. So make sure you check all your buying options I was kicking myself later for this mistake. Also moving in GW1 is very different do not let it discourage you from playing because once you get the hang of it it is pretty fun.
