P/P is very good ikittennow how to use it. and no the dmg is not low either.

you need to play reactivly to players and have stealth utility ready. was in wvw the other day having so much fun stomping german players in 1v1 fights. like when i met this lvl 80 gaurdian. took a while but got him in the end. just stealth when he pops defense cooldowns and nail him from ranged (skill 4).

so yeah just practice. and also shortbow is great for keep sieges as u can aim cluster bomb on the edge of walls and hit ppl on the wall.

just a playstyle that needs practice. then again those who just backstab and think they are skilled normally say differntly

on my asura if i dont use a helm my neck has wired flabby folds and distorted skin.

yes on char select screen and hero pane it looks normal.

has any 1 else experianced this problem. makes me not want to hide my helm ever :’(

i just posted this on bug report. but also want my fellow asurans to see this and make a bug report to so it gets fixed

so when using certain pistols (as not every pistol has this bug) it has human height firing aniamtion.

this is mostly with glyphic style pistols and a few others im sure are about.

its not game breaking but ruins the emersion for asura

hey guys.

i need some help on makeing gold. i want to get 100+ gold so i can buy my asura tier 3 cultural set. and wondering whats the best way to do this.

i dont bother with crafting as it takes to long to get what i need and find it faster farming ores. but aside from gatering herbs ores and logs what else is a good way to make much needed gold (i am not gem buying to sell so dont mention that)

even as those other “proffesions” you will always have that scientific maniac inside you ready to explode some turtles with a death ray of uber doom.

and you can make a good back story, used to be a top engineer with your krewe then learnt the shadow arts to combat the inquest then got the attention of order of whispers and became a spy / assasin to fight zhaitans higher ranked goons. ( i play an asura thief)

so yeah asura will always be mad scientists first no matter how much u say other wise.

so yeah medium tier 3 does match asura culture. and i do want to farm gold for it. but will take so long

so with several pistols as an asura the fireing animation is bugged. it has human height on the asura.

it is not for every single weapon. only a few such as twichlocks pistol or the glyphic pistols. also the dark asuran pistol (all use same model just differnt colours)

i have a video that shows this to. (excuse the quality i have it recording at 1/4 frame size so i can record with out affecting my games fps at all [handy for WvWvW] )

also has the bug with the madking book where the flame glow shows ur location while stealthed

the book is amazing for pitch black areas like a certain jump puzzle in wvw

thats why they have weapon swap cassiegold

pistol pistol for single target

short bow for zergs.

pistol is very nice for pve in dungeons and solo. and keep a bow ready when u need to.

great thing about guildwars 2, there is no right or wrong combo of weapons for the thief.

so time to dump your 5+ year old pc and invest in a modern machine with parts from 2012 ?

you do know “minimum specs” is so it loads up and has nothing to do with it being “playable”

as an asura i hate norn and char for the following reason

your so big and bulky i cant see my asura at all when waiting to jump on certain parts.

you block my landing path so when i try and move ahead i end up going the wrong way.

on normal puzzles when u decided to just afk at the edge of an important jump also sucks.

other then that i have no real issues with you,

one posative thing. in pvp norns are basicly a giant GANK ME sign

due to it being not every single weapon, only a few weapons have this issue. it can be easy to miss with all the combos of wwapons out there,

all we can do is make a bug post every day untill we get it fixed (via ingame)

minimum specs are to get it to load up. does not state anywhere it will run well at minimum.

the game is currently cpu bound which meens u need a good cpu to habdle this.

most of the time when ppl say they have “way over” the specs they normally have 4+ year old machine trying to run a modern game.

also if u dont tell us your specs. how exactly can we help you

yes norn are just a stupid and fat race. char are just overgrown cats with guns

what moron decided to let norn and char do this puzzle with the other races.

i join the tower nothing but super sized norn and char males and i cant see the path.

ban them from playing with the smaller races (asura) its impossible to see where i am going

its not for all weapons (last time i checked)

asura thief dual pistols. some pistols it shoots out the barrel and others it is over my head at human height. same for harpoon, i have made several bug reports but nothing yet :’(.

its not game breaking just imersion annoyance
