when using /laugh on asura female the following bug happens.
she will start to laugh then as she starts to roll on the floor her laugh just fades out.
asura male will keep laughing untill they stand back up

i really like the accessory that comes with the pony tail little ear flaps
how ever i do agree it needs to use dyes you have on that toon and give u a 2 tone colour system.

i would also like to use an example from another game and how they sorted the problem engineers in GW2 currently face. and i assure you its all relevent
a long time ago World of Warcraft came to life and they had a class called the Shaman.
the shamans mechanics was based around totems and these can be compared to turrets in gw2 as they do basicly work exactly the same.
example. the shaman would drop a fire totem and it would shoot fire balls at a target or a earth totem and it would root the target in place if it got very close to the totem.
so how is this relevent i hear you cry.
they are placed on the floor with 5 health and unable to move. they would be instantly killed by any aoe in game or any direct damage.
so how did blizzard fix this problem?
they gave the totems aoe immunity but they still took dmg from direct attacks. this was all good for pvp aspect but in pve when raids came this was still a problem.
so when the totems attacked a PVE NPC all threat generated by the totem was counted as the shamans threat and the totem itself removed from any threat tables in combat (they ofc can still agro a boss if placed in its agro range as it counts as the shaman)
its 2013 and we have a aoe heavy game that does not provide protection for fragile summons / pets / minions in dungeons where they dont live very long at all

so after spending a few days trying out turrets in dungeons as 30-10-0-030 grenade engie i found it can be good and bad.
for example, i have ground target turrets so alot of fights i can pop them on ledges above a boss and they last the entire fight.
but in other fights i can deploy a turret 10-20 seconds after a fight starts to avoid “agro” and they would be killed seconds later by a ground target aoe e.g subject alphas dragon tooth (this is just 1 example of many bosses that do this)
and lvl 48 fractals is not a turret friendly place either
so a few ideas for DUNGEONS only as i do like the idea of turrets but in there current form where most encounters in dungeons are aoe heavy.
dungeons would include the following
story mode
explorable mode
fractals
living story dungeons
as not any one of these involve any pvp at all or have any link to pvp and would only affect turrets when inside a dungeon there is no need to comment on it being OP.
imagine if warrior banners took dmg from aoe / boss attacks how long would it take before anet gave them aoe immunity ?
1. turrets cause no threat when placed inside a dungeon and have AoE damage immunity ( DUNGEONS ONLY still take full aoe dmg in pvp / wvw)
2. turrets cause no threat and immune to all damage, this would stop turrets blowing them self up on reflect spells
3. turrets cause no threat and bosses do not target turrets with any spell or affect / ground target aoe (would only apply to dungeosn only)
considering i want to use turrets to complement my build and not have a build focused on turrets or any points spent in the inventions tree.
this would also make turrets viable for any build in DUNGEONS allowing them to be used with out any worry from being killed 5 seconds after deploying them even if using the ground target turret trait.
this would not work in open world PVE WVW or SPVP / TPVP. so cant be used for “botting” or unkillable turrets in any form of pvp.
so no need for any kind of “BUT ITS OP IN PVP”rubbish.
and the turrets could use the new target system
TLDR give turrets in PVE DUNGEONS AOE IMMUNITY / no threat so engineers can atleast use a core mechanic of the class in pve with out any change to pvp at all.
i know people will try and say its a bad idea and we have traits blah blah, well i dont want to use any traits in the inventions tree and i want to use turrets along side my build.

well digiowl maybe it is time they seperated pvp wvw and pve
they are ALREADY going to add a health value change to all summons / pets / minions on the 15th
and they are clearlya ble to add pve and pvp only skills
example early after gw2 release they nerfed some skills so they only did 10% less dmg when in spvp etc.
its time they fixed certain aspects of pet / minon / turret classes in pve

a yes good point totally forgot about this
it would be a new set of turrets added along side the standard turrets we have.
the flying turrets would do exact same dmg as standard turrets just it flys and moves with you.
dont know about others but turrets are a big part of engies that does not get to shine much at all due to how they work atm.
hell if i had flying dront turrets id be very happy and use it all the time. but id stills wap out for condi removal etc for fights that need it.
there wouldnt be any forcing and i did say this is not concernign WvW this is purely a PVE point of view so do not bring wvw into a pve suggestion

this is purely a pve suggestion and these turrets should be unusable for WVW / SPVP/TPVP so please no comments what so ever about pvp as they wont be usable for pvp.
in the scarlet invasion we have seen minons that fly using helicopter blades. now as engineers we could “reverse engineer” this tech and then apply it to rifle / rocket turret.
Have them classed as a minion so they last untill u destroy them and not have a time limit like current turrets do. also they would only attack when you attack and would not attack if you are attacked so they are not bot friendly.
also have them so they cant go above any celings.
maybe even call them drones makes sense and wouldnt be hard to >>>REVERSE engineer<<< tech from scarlets invasions
example
1. flying rifle turret range 1000. flys above the battle at 900 range when in combat it hovers over the target shooting it. can not be targeted by AOE but can still take direct damage

i finsihed it last night with ppl who know how to play and read chat.
if you or your group find it hard its because you are just not good enough at tactic based fights.
your all soused to stacking in corner poping time warp and spamming hundred blades that you have no idea of any real tactic based fights where u have to be aware.
i hope anet brings out content just liek this to force ppl to learn to play propperly and not just stack zerk and win

again with people crying about this trait ?
the greenadier trait has huge synergy with the explosives tree
1. you get the dmg increase traits and the vuln stacking minor traits.
2. you have the power increase and condition duration increase bonus
3. if your going to focus on grenades most of the time u will have 30 points in explosives esp if you are a zerker greenade engineer
now why do we have this trait ? its for ppl whop want to focus on grenades as main damage source so they get this trait.
its no differnt to speccing juggernought for flame thrower or HGH
and now my second point
this game is all about BUILDS and how the BUILDS change/ increase the effeciveness of weapons / kits.
if you want powerfull grenades u take the trait. if u dont want to take the trait stop crying and use something else.
just because a few ppl on forums dont like it does not meen every engineer out there agrees with you.
now some 1 said its ment to be “balances” against other kits well why dont u try unlearning every single trait then use each kit with no traits and naked. im sure you will see it is infact balanced with other kits.
people use juggernought for flame thrower and also that trait in alchamy for 15% more dmg does that meen we need to nerf that trait ?
people use HGH for condi grenades do we need to nerf that trait to ?
its time you all learnt what “synergy” is and how it works in mmos.
this is after all why we have traits to begin with right ? to empower a certain aspect of that class ?

i have made a few posts in the past about this kind of kit.
basicly just give us a charrzooka.
we are engineers after all using turrets devloped by charr.
and lets face it what engineer is not able to reverse engineer tech ?
you could set it to 1500 range fire 3 rockets at once and work exactly the same as grenades but single target based and not ground targeted.
and make it shoulder mounted rocket launcher

Then you can add fancy new kit skins on gemstore only engies can use or via ingame drop or crafted.
maybe even race based styles would be nice
Dont care either way it leads to alot of choices for engineers.
and maybe you can have the skins adapt to the dyes we use on our coat armor and folows the main colour used .

crafting is a form of progression.
every other MMO out there has great icentives for lvling up crafting
WoW for example lets u craft gear that is the same tier as the current raid. and lets u sell to players.
its about time u had crafting so you can be self sufficant and start learning how mmos work.

it could be your 2.66ghz CPU
considering stock speed of modern CPU is now 3.5GHZ and around 4.5 GHZ clocked this could be your main issue.
also the i7 920 is an ancient CPU by todays standards : ( so as a result the game is lowering it all to compensate for the very slow CPU.

if your going to scale kit weapon “damage” to ascnended please make it a rifle for engie
and staff for ele
this way we are not lagging behind other classes 2 handed ascended weapons.
this way saves u scaleing it to main hand and forcing engies to use rifle for power builds.

casual players always make this mistake.
ascended is for fractals. thats why agony infusions was the FIRST infusions to be added.
we need ascended gear to do higher lvl fractals.
they just made new non agony resistance based infusions for the ppl who complained us skilled players had shiny things and they dont have shiny things.
same thing happend with liadri

1. make sure u hae decent cooling.
2. clean all the dust out of your hardware.
3. make sure your GPU is running on maximum power and not power saver.
4. make sure your OS is also running at max power and not power saver.
5. run a repair on gw2
also try and run gw2 off an HDD it might be an issue with your SSD set up

do what WoW did
give advanced players the option to use a 64bit client while letting the “lesser” casual players on “lesser” hardware still have access to 32 bit client.
infact when they beta tested 64bit client all they did was give u a few files to add to the game folder and bam it ran 64bit mode
thos solves both the low end users and asian user issues and lets us high end users make the most of things.
also direct x 11 support please

have anet set min max prices of items and let ppl set prices within th emin max prices of items.
tada economy is saved and players can once againa fford things that should never of been overpriced by 150% in the first place.

1. use mouse to turn (that meens holiding down right mouse button)
2. get an mmo mouse designed for mmos (what crazy talk is this !1!)
3. practice by aiming the mouse at the distance u need. use step 1 then use WASD to move about while spamming skills and using the mouse
i personally use 1-4 on keyboard and every other skill is bound to my mouse. toolbelt is f1-f3 with f4 bound to Q.
E to dodge (makes sense).
grenade kit is designed to be ground target to compensate for its very high dmg output
(yes even after the 30% nerf to #1 full zerk with banner and food can get 1.4k + crits per nade on #1 and 18k + ob barrage if u aim it right).
thats why u can kit swap to say your rifle to shot stuff.
its all about getting used to it and learning.
dont ask for a nerd because you cant ge used to a kit instead learn to use it.
i rin 30 10 0 0 30 full zerk and focus on nades with P/P for pve and rifle for WvW.
its an older video of mine but it does the job
