Edit: Before we get too carried away, remember that Resistance is definitely coming with the expansion. It might not matter how many stacks of bleeds you have if you can’t strip resistance off mobs.

Honestly there are so many easy ways to strip boons that unless we see large stacks of mobs that instantly re-apply multiple boons it wouldn’t be a big deal. It will obviously influence who we see in a group, since your standard condi builds don’t tend to have boon stripping (Necromancer aside), but Mesmers/Necros could get them off really easily.

That’s true, but I heard, once resistance ticks off, you’ll go and have the conditions as if you never had any resistance… (A timer to hold back your death from conditions.)

I’ve always thought that mantra was a pretty weird utility, but I think that it should behave differently. Example: Mantra of Restoration, is a 10 second cool down for 2(3) uses, I honestly think they shouldn’t have charges, instead: they have a 30 second timer for uses, and when you use it, it’ll go on a 5-10 second CD and the recharge cool down would be twice of what it currently is… Making it a bit different makes sense to me. I see it would be kind of weird, it just would make mesmer a bit… Different in more ways than currently.

They seem to be making revenant every class at once, torment, might stacking, condition clear heal (kind of) and ranged… AND no cds… (ele,thief,ranger,warrior,necro,mesmer.)

I like the weapons… Heal, could be Ether. Runes, honestly that’s your choice. I’d take 4 off of inspiration and put it in dueling for DE. And sigils. Seems weird but if you can make it work, it’ll work! :p

Test it for yourself! I use it for fighting a lot. The might and boon corrupt on 2 DS is nice for extra damage.

The build is based on getting many conditions on at once and finishing it all with SC 3.
PROS:LF management and high damage.
CONS: Thieves. (enough said.) And swiftness.

This build is not as easy as the Death Shroud META but it’s just as good, if not better.

Here are my ideas for the cursed trait line I try my kitten to make use of.
Illusion Of Care: If phantasm attacks pass through allies or the mesmer, they lose on condition. (Would work good with torch phantasm and such.)
Restorative Bouncing: Skills having capability to bounce have a 30% chance to heal based on power or remove a condition. (Heh, attempting to support my build ideas. And base is 800 healing and is based on pure power… Not might increased. 0.2% of power.)
Conjoined Powers: Boons given to mesmer are shared with phantasms.(So you don’t need the signet to give boons to just phantasms. Time interval is every 3 seconds.)

Oh, that makes sense. The role of this build is actually very flexible… Support, burst and bunker (Sorta). Btw sorry for the link thing… Doing this all on my phone. And the low crit chance… Fury, but then again it does only like 7 seconds. I might stack with GS 2 and F2 giving retaliation, and 7 stacks of might… From just the shatter… Not counting the crits.

MY selection of runes I tend to use are… Fire, Air… Scholar, Hoelbrak and Rage… Fire for might and burns, air for swiftness on heal and damage when hit, scholar for ferocity and 10% extra damage. Hoelbrak for might and reduced condition duration on self. Rage for fury and 5% damage with fury. Which you could get in death shroud. Well there’s my selection. For offensive useful runes for necromancer.

Combo Finishers?

Okay, so… I hate how necromancer lacks combo finisher… But I see their are skills that should be combo finishers.
Blast Finisher: Unholy Feast, Wail Of Doom.
Phyiscal Projectile: Reaper’s Touch (20% chance), Deathly Swarm (20%)
Reason For Unholy Feast: It does an AoE and it seems to look like a blast… The annoying part is, it’s not a blast…
Reason for Reaper’s Touch:
I should be able to have it become on-fire when I throw it through a fire-field. But it doesn’t… Because Mirror Blade on Mesmer can. I think Reaper’s Touch should too. After all, they have similar roles for the classes.
Reason for Wail Of Doom: Because I see the blast for ranger warhorn, so Necromancer should have it too.
And For Deathly Swarm: Because it’ll give more conditions/condition clearing… For example, it’ll bounce from foe to and pass through allies if they stand in the line of fire.

If I find any other skills that should, I’ll update this.

The skill points on your level 80s could be used to get materials for a legendary. And that such. Plus if they did that. The people with 1000’s of skill points would get bored due to having so many.

Out of honesty. There isn’t GvG but they did it in a way. However, one of the guilds would have to own the server and set it up. So basicly we’ve had GvG the whole time.

I believe every profession will have access to every weapon. But you’ll have to make the choice. Based on how you play. You’ll pick that weapon. Here’s how I think that. On the site, “https://heartofthorns.guildwars2.com/en#section-specializations” It says unique mechanics. Which had me thinking, “Maybe we’ll be able to have a bit of creativity to our profession now?” I saw the description as a trick of words… Kind of. But it’s easy to solve. Feel free to tell me wrong and such. I’m set. :P

From what I’ve noticed, every class will most likely have every weapon. It’ll be your choice to pick what weapon. Based on the wording, “With profession Specializations, you’ll unlock access to A weapon preciously unavailable to your profession as well as new traits, skills, and UNIQUE mechanics – all of which will transform your profession into something new.” Odd huh, it’s like they’re telling us how much room we have to our profession now.
