Don’t get my wrong: I LOVE all the new content that ArenaNet put to this game.
But after several months there is a lot of things that need to be fixed ASAP. I’m pretty sure they the most of the community will no complain if we get a month or two without any content, but the serious issues being fixed.
i know what is going to say a lot of people: Class designers and content designers are not the same people.
Maybe, but that kind of bugs aren’t the only one here:
- Culling.
- Broken events.
- Dungeons rejoins.
- Arrah getting bugged after 2 hours of a run.
- Stupid IA.
- Disconnect from sPvP in loading screens.
Besides, NEW events also occupies the time of people in charge of bug fixes:
- The first Phase, people worked to fix the lag issue.
- People is working now to fix the reward and disconnections of the last event.
- People worked to fix the unopened Fractals door.

I think they need to implement a Random X story dungeon to complete… weekly or something. Whit a good reward(because some people only want this).
really in queensdale? ive seen some mid range zones pretty empty but queensdale is usually packed, maybe come over to Anvil Rock?
IDK.. im from Sorrow’s Furnace. I saw a lot of people in a lot of zones: Queensdale. The map south queensdale (i dont remember his name). Like 50 people doing Jormag’s claw and other 50 doing The Shatterer…
nope… i was doing the daily achievement in the human starter zone and was literally full of people.
Forced? You have separated Monthly/Daily Pvp/Pve achievements and you still complain?

The gear is not out. You can know their stats.. but you can’t know how to get it. What if they are as easy to get as exotic?

The necromancer is AWESOME. I’m in love with that class. I Always wins any 1vs1 fight without exception.
But i’m pretty mad that the Flesh Golem AI is not fixed.
Is absurd, is unacceptable.
The Flesh GOLEM doesn’t attack the 75% of the times.. and PULLs without any reason enemy far for the aggro range.

I will put here the most important questions i found:
- will server capacity be increased so we can actually play together?
- Characters created via RAF would be retained for a period so that trial users that purchase the game can continue with their character?

There is no need of new instances of a zone. They need to merge zones, of different zones. The only condition, that merged servers need to be from a different WvWvW fight.

I think that is not a good idea:
We don’t know exactly what ANET is doing to fight against bots, but we are pretty sure that is related to “analizing their behavior”.
If we make a mess in a botting group, that would cause an “anomaly” to their behavior, and could bring trouble to detecting them.
What do you thing?

“EndGame” (that ridiculous word that people bring to this game) is not about walking and dodging risens in Orr you know?
Have you completed all exp dungeons?
Have you completed the World Map?
Have you get any legendary weapon?
Have you complete all the achievements?
They wont be added for 2 reasons, 1) they make circumventing content too easy, you can easily outrun/dodge mobs on a mount to get places you should have to fight to, and 2) they want people to enjoy the scenery of the game. If you have a mount to get to new places, you will bypass most of the game content. Think about how little of Mulgore you saw.

1) “You can easily outrun/dodge.” There is not Mount system in game right now. How do you know how it works? Ohh.. are you talking about others games? This is GW2.

Ok I get it… But being OP or UP is wrong anyway.
Here’s my biggest advice: the player’s everyday experience with the game is paramount – far more important than the global game economy will ever be.
The global game economy affects the player’s everyday experience, too, though. So if the DR is in place to help protect the game economy, they are trying to protect the player’s experience. I’m not saying it’s a perfect system, but it’s simplistic to think that the player’s experience will be unaffected if the game economy goes south.
The ingame economy will be protected with a good antibot system. The DR just punish gamers, because botters doens’t sleep, doens’t stop… they can do the exact task for days, weeks, any DR is going to stop them.
They just need to pust ONE people to travel across maps, accross server. When someone report a botter, he transport there. Is not hard. Any “magic” algorithm is going to stop botters. They live from this, they even know the game more than anyone. If you put a rock in the road, they just move to another place.
I just want to restate that as a level 20 player with limited time (see my post on page 2) it not only affects karma, but I also get a dramatically reduced exp reward. This is making my limited playtime a nightmare to even try and get to 80 and embark on this “legendary” journey.

So how do you know your getting diminished rewards? I’ve leveled for hours and never noticed it. But I don’t watch xp like that I just play so I might be missing something. Do you get a visual debuff or you just get less xp or something?
It’s easy enough to notice for events. You will start getting drastically reduced event rewards (with the badge) until it eventually gives you 97% less than the normal reward. Just watch for the decreasing numbers. It is quite easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention to the numbers though, or don’t know how much a gold badge contribution should reward you with.
For loot it’s a little harder to tell, but generally you have hit it when mobs stop dropping stuff altogether and/or only drop Junk Items (not even white armor/weapons, literally Junk Items ONLY).
I will have to try watching for it I guess, thanks. But even then I’m not sure it bothers me too much even if that’s how it works cause I seem to be progressing at a fair rate. Isn’t it just the RULES of the game? Why can’t we just play by the rules? I guess that’s how I’ve alwaysed approached video games! Yeah I mean I can see where it might suck for some but it doesn’t really hurt the game expirence overall, still a really enjoyable game regardless of those rules. To each their own I guess.

Thief and Mesmer downed state aren’t really all that either. They do basically what all downed states should do. Buy you a little time.
Thats a good point actually. The problem is that it doesnt fit to give everyone a teleport. Even though i think that’d be the best and most fun solution. I think knockbacks are a little too lame, so are self resses (engis can do this too), and that necro’s single target and ele’s nothingatall.jpg needs to affect multiple people like teleports and knockbacks do.

Thief dont have strong downstate skills lol… 1 teleport and 1 stealth (where he stay at same place). Most OP:
Mesmers- clones, teleporting, stealth… just wtf is this.
Warrior- knock down for 1 target, instant stand and 15s for kill target (before self death)
Guardian- mass AOE Push back, life drain
Yes, but you have 1 stealth. That add seconds to your life, and is a HUGE difference.

really… elementalist… ELEMENTALIST… they have the worst downstate E V E R… you could have picked like mesmer or thief
Vapor Form -> Assume a mobile, vaporous form, returning to a downed state when the effect ends.
That may save your life if you are attacked by 2 or more enemies.
But we have:
Fear > Make your foe flee in fear.
One fear, to one foe. You are still exposed anyway. There is no way you could survive more than 1 attack.
If Ele have the worst downed stated.. idk what we have.

My “main” is a necromancer. We have, 1/2sec fear to 1 character only.
Then I tried the Elementalist, and they can walk wherever they want for a short time… WTF?!
Another profession have an AOE stun(idk wich). Makes no sense.
I suggest that in sPvP, al the professions in downed state need to have the exact Skill Set because if this pretend to be an eSport, Balance is the most important thing.

I think people need to be honest about something though. How quickly are they clearing the DEs? Do they actually complete the events, or just hit the mob enough to secure a bronze /silver / gold and then move on? I’ve never been hit by DR, and I stick with the event from start to end.
For me, i did a lot of events in cursed shore without hitting the DR. The problem is that they use resources Fixing their own mess instead of fixing bugged events.
Cursed shore have 3 main events, all are chain. We can’t farm. That’s ok, i hate that. But 2 of 3 world events were BUGGED. But yes.. “Patch note: we implement the DR” “Patch note: we fix the DR” “Patch note: we improve the DR” meanwhile cursed shore is unplayable.
- Will they still fix/improve the DR instead of fixing Dynamic Events bugs?
- Why not just implement an antibot/antiexploit system that only affect bots and exploitters?
Well.. aparently was fixed in the las patch:
* Armor that is currently equipped can no longer be transmuted.
There’s also that famous school of thought to consider: If you have to ask, it’s probably not allowed.

And if by “using” you mean gaining some unfavorable advantage via the exploitation of said bug, then yes, it’s bannable. Just because it’s well known doesn’t mean the definition of exploit changes.
Besides getting “distracted” of the bug, there is nothing more about it. When you transmute the skin of some specific kind this happens. Only affects appeareance.
