What I want someone to take the time to explain to me is why is each profession so inferior to DH. People are complaining about DH because it isn’t very easy to kill [anymore] and has decent sustain/defenses. It’s still easy to kill a bad DH, and currently, good DHs are rewarded for playing well.

Some general things that need to be looked at across the board are resurrecting, healing, mobility and stealth…

When pulling an enemy, it’s easy for the enemy to become displaced. The enemy will be pulled, but they won’t appear in the right location. Sometimes, they’ll be pulled and still show in the same spot or will get pulled and show in the spot they were originally after being pulled. It’s a visual glitch. Please look into this

Buy any GTX 1060, an SSD and an i3-6100 + any compatible MOBO.

Shelter is fine where it is, though Litany of Wrath could use either higher base heal value or a higher %Damage conversion to heal. or maybe 1-2 seconds more on its duration. it had its niche pre-DH, and the thing going for it was the lower CD, than Shelter, but with Purification in the picture there’s almost no point.

Shelter only gets used by some Guardians in PvE. I think it needs to be reworked. The CD should be low (as in 20 seconds) or it should give you a boon. Or shoot, make it so we can attack while blocking…

Instead of scholar runes, use traveler runes. I think you’d be better off with all marauder equipment. Use air/blood on sword/focus. Get the food that reduces incoming damage by 10%

What if Shelter gave protection for 6 seconds once it ended and had a base CD of 24 seconds?

How about making it so that Litany of Wrath heals you for 400 every second you go without taking damage and lasts for 10 seconds?

Well, first off, F3 is meant to be a strong defensive virute on a long CD. There’s a gaping opening behind anyone using F3, whether you have it traited or not.

Renewed Focus is an elite, and there’s nothing wrong with how it resets virtues.

No one was complaining about these things to this extent until they started losing to DH

Moa is a real game changer when used by a good Mesmer. It’s an elite though. Elites should be good/great

Anything legendary should be able to store runes/sigils/gems you use on it in its memory

50/50 match making is not garbage.
Just as you get bad players in your team,so does the other team,as the MM tries to match the teams as evenly as possible.
If you can carry your weight,and if your team mates can do the same,and if the other team can’t do the same,you’ll win the match.
Apparently there are a lot of players that git carried by the fixed matches of seasons 2 and 3,and now that the odds are even seem to have difficulties in advancing.

Although it would be nice if tier and pip protection were removed completely,you still are not able to advance from ruby to diamond playing solo queue if you can’t play your class.
If you get carried by premades,that’s another story.

I don’t want “bad” players on my team. I want both teams to have players of equal skill. With S1/S4 match making, teams feel like they were artificially made to have “equal skill”. I don’t like that type of team balancing. I should feel like the people on my team are “on par” with me

Every time I see 1m+ damage from any profession, it makes me think that the fight’s weren’t that “good”… I rarely hit 500k+ in some wins.

If you end the fight quickly, there’s no need for an absurd amount of overall damage done

Season 1/4 match making is garbage

Progressively upgrade your components :-) I recommend getting an 6th gen Intel i3 or i5 CPU next

I recommend going with a 1060 though. I’ve owned both Radeon and NVidia GPUs, and I like NVidia a lot more due to its performance and Shadow Play ^~^

Yeah… They need to fix this issue with back items. Asura have the same problem with a myriad number of back items

I actually don’t swap my traits in ranked matches XD. I sometimes test different sigils in custom matches, but I always go back to my main ones.

I could talk about the pros and cons of using certain traits, utilities, etc. for you though!

Hi everyone. I plan on recording a new video this weekend. Based on feedback I received from my last video, people want me to create a commentary video where I go over what I do during combat. I plan on including a full match where I talk while the match is ongoing, and clips from multiple matches where I slowly go over details of a fight.

I’m interested to know what else people would like to see, not only for my upcoming video, but for future videos. I enjoy making these videos and I appreciate the feedback/suggestions everyone gives me.

What do you find unbalanced about the current DH? The fact it can sustain itself? Finally kite…? Guardian still has its downsides. If enemies know not to step into a trap, it can really mess with a Guardian. I understand not every time a trap is placed it’ll be avoidable, but that just means they used a trap effectively. I do wish the trap play style could be replaced with something else, but that’s all AN has given us.

I just hope AN lets this blow over. In my eyes, right now Guardian is viable. Definitely not OP… If you really want to convince me Guardian is OP… Upload a video of yourself against a formidable DH or two… All of these screenshots people are posting don’t mean anything without any context backing them up

had a friend who mains a guardian decide he was gonna pick up his guardian again this season. switched to dh meta build and wrecked every game we went into. stomped enemy teams into the ground unless the entire team focused him. you see people queing up as dh so much there is 3 4 or even 5 in a game at a time. a “viable” class doesnt do this. a op class does. im not saying my friend is bad. im simply stating the class is so easy to play and do well that you dont even need skill to play it.i get it. gaurdian sucked in pvp for the longest time and your afraid of going back to that.but changes are needed.

Who was getting wrecked? New players? Like I told the other guy, I want to see gameplay of these guys. I want to see who they’re beating. I’m not afraid of Guardian sucking again, I’m tired of people complaining.

Greatsword #2 should definitely receive an update. It should be faster or not reduce movement speed. Like, what? Also, #2 & #5 should not end if your target stealths… #2 is a freaking AoE ability. It’s not like Revenant sword #2!

It’s not that Guardian is easy to play… It’s that players easily fall for Guardian’s traps… Get it

I needed many hours of practice to play Guardian the way I do today… The only thing people are realizing is that they need to practice more on their own professions to do better against enemy Guardians.

None of these people were saying anything about Guardian when it was down in the dirt, but now that Guardian can fight on an even playing field with its own advantages they want to complain

That is not true.

X out of 9 will depend on what people want to play… and people enjoy playing Guardian more post patch because it is actually a useful profession again. Arena Net recognized how horrible Guardian was compared to every other profession

Arena Net has already stated not too far off in the past that DH needs love and is not in a good place. DH isn’t invincible. If you can play well enough you should be at equal strength against a DH

This build is actually pretty crazy. Crazy in the sense that it works. We finally have MULTIPLE BUILD OPTIONS. Good freaking job AN.
