The easiest way to shut down this type of thread is to ask for a video showing them fighting a DH. If we can properly analyze how they and their opponent fights it will give us better insight about how “broken” DH actually is

GS’s symbol should apply quickness. Retaliation is such a weird boon to get from a GS symbol. Leap of Faith should be faster IMO. It does miss its target sometime. WW and BB should not impair movement, you’re right.

I plan on setting up dual monitors, and I have some questions.

I logged in to HOTM and I’m getting sub 30 FPS. I normally get 60-100. I have not changed any settings. Does anyone know why I would be getting such low FPS?

I think it looks like glossy leather more than like metal. The Taimi outfit in particular strikes me as very leathery. And thus more protective than simple cloth.

Try duller tones if you want less gloss. I used good old basic Rawhide for the main field on the Marjory outfit on my charr Revenant and it comes out very nice and rough for him.

Can you share pix of your charr in the outfit with dye schemes you like? Pretty please

Torch needs to be a weapon with only instant casts… Torch 4 should instantly light you on fire and another press should cause you to cast an instant flame attack on your target. Torch 5 should instantly cause you to pulse flames around you that cures allies of one condition per pulse and damage enemies in an aoe radius…

Torch would be lit then!

Does no one else feel the new outfits are overly metallic? Cloth hoods look like they’re made 100% out of metal… lol

I have a video here of me playing DH and surviving against multiple opponents until help arrives. My best advice to you is to watch that and any other PvP videos you may be able to find on YouTube. Seeing things may help you get a better idea of what you need to do to survive.

A lot of survival tactics rely on being able to quickly use your skills and keeping a sustained amount of distance between you and your opponent based on who you’re up against

Cut the cast time to 2 sec, to match warrior banner.
Add 6sec of swiftness and 6 sec of regen with each passive pulse.
That would solve passive movement speed issue and add some sustain at the cost of not having an ‘oh carp’ button.

Hmm. What if Signet of Courage became a channeled skill?

I imagine it could work like this: You will pulse a heal around you that will heal allies and you for 25% of the affected’s HP every second. Give it a CD of 75 seconds and I can see this being used…

Should work just like Rebound!, and the passive heal should trigger every 3 seconds for 1/3 of what it heals for now every 10 seconds. After pressing Signet of Courage, we should be able to press a virtue and have it activate some effect… Just like Rebound! gives an aura based on the ele’s attunement

How funny is to see how inexperienced people complain rev … it is low compared to other classes and has poor healing. The damage that you call OP do 2 skills faults and as the Revs against those who fight are more skilled than they come to mourn the forum (and that more grace make me are the guardians, with its 2000 heal and 3000 blocks, CC 14stacks crazy and fire in 1 sec) If rev is so op and guardian is not, because you do not use rev and kill everything you see? You know that besides energy skills also have CD? It is illogical to discuss an issue with people who have no idea how something works and still criticizes …

Does anyone use this to play GW2? I currently own a Razer Naga. I’m not entirely sold on the 500. I feel like losing buttons would suck.

Where you said you can send me detailed instructions on how to beat a Revenant? That’s not what I need or what I’m looking for…

Guardian’s have a difficult/hard time fighting evenly skilled Revenants, because it’s almost impossible for a Guardian to peel a Revenant off of them. Revenants have multiple tools to work around traps, such as staff 3 & 5 and sword 3 and can shut down a Guardian in melee range very well. So, not being able to peel them, leads to being stuck in melee range, which puts the fight in a Revenant’s favor

They’re (just about) equally favoured

I’m not trying to insult you, but I don’t know if you realize you’re saying the same thing over and over without providing an explanation as of why

Oh, and Revenants have tons of ways to avoid/block/free themselves from stuns… The heck?

Legend swap is a free stunbreak… You get 50 energy… If you swapped to Shrio, you can immediately use Riposting Shadows to stunbreak again if you need to… You also recover energy… If you legend swapped to Glint, you can immediately use Facet of Darkness to stunbreak and AoE blind fools… You can’t be stunned while Unrelenting Assault is active…. Staff 3 blocks attacks…. On a got darn 12 second CD…. Surge of the Mists lets you do damage AND evade……. Shield 5 will let you block for 3 seconds and heal… Facet of Light will let you face tank…… Then you can think about traits that give stability….

C’mon man. Be a grown man about this. You sound like you don’t want anyone disagreeing with you. What you’re saying doesn’t make sense to me. Revenant is strong as hell

Rev is strong ASF. I really wish sword 2 was one single hit that required the Rev be in 180 range of their target. I wish I could kill an evenly skilled Rev as a Guardian…

Dyes we have unlocked should be usable towards skin and hair/hair accessory color. At the least, hair accessory colors should be expanded… I don’t understand why the hairstyle I’m previewing has a section of hair that’s affected by hair accessory color. I hope this is a long time overlooked bug

The shoulder piece with the neck/mouth scarf should’ve been sold seperately.

People love the winter scarf for the exact same reason! Most shoulder armors (heavy anyway) suck lol
