Match making will always be bad no matter what AN does until the population increases drastically or players get better… Good Revs have always been a challenge for a Guard to kill. Also, in my opinion Rev has been better than or just as good of a 1v1er as Guard, even before the recent patch. I just think some things are more obvious now. Some of my most fun/challenging duels came from fighting Rain.

Like I said though, we’ll see how things go once Season 7 hits… You’re right in saying the quality of players we’ll fight in unranked is meh… but it’s like that even in ranked sometimes…

We’ve both gone through every change Guardian has had, so I think this too shall pass… I hope our next elite spec allows us to fight w/ double melee like Rev

Ive had another person tell me that too, but I’m just not seeing it so far. I feel like enough professions were nerfed w/ this recent patch that we ended up kind of being the same. I’ve been playing more than normal just to see how things are too. Once season 7 hits we’ll see

If you WvW (roam) I’m curious what your setup is there…

The thief trait ‘Pulmonary Impact’ needs a 5 second ICD… Or Headshot needs to cost 2 more initiative

Both weapon sets have sigil of intelligence in their first slot. Longbow has the sigil that removes one condition on hit in its second slot, whereas sword has the sigil that removes one condition on weapon swap. It worked pretty well for me yesterday. There are too many conditions floating around now IMO.

I haaave. I like medi trapper a lot more. I actually used to hate using LB. The reason I like LB more is b/c it gives me ranged burst, whereas w/ scepter I get more sustained DPS, area control, defense, etc. I feel like being able to burst w/ LB helps me carry my team a little bit better. Fighting against a symbolic guard is annoying, and it has seen a lot of success w/ some players achieving high rankings playing it. It’s just not my cup of tea though. I did/do love playing scepter/sword w/ medi trapper traits/setup though!

MM & profession wise, GW2 is “solid” right now… We need a bigger & better PvP population! We need ANet to somehow attract people to GW2’s PvP scene

My best tip would be to watch my videos and analyze what I do. I’m being very serious. Being good at Guardian comes with understanding how to maximize the potential of your CDs in any given situation. My survivability comes from kiting as well as I can. So, using Judge’s Intervention or F2 for mobility rather than damage sometimes, etc. It’s not hard to PvP with Guardian, but it does take ‘a lot’ to be able to carry fights

This 1v1 doesn’t happen a lot anymore (my opinion) since the changes to Rev, but there are still times I run into Revs… and they’re still strong/capable (not OP). Does anyone want to share what they do when fighting a good Rev? Looking for responses from people that use LB + Sword & Shield/Focus

I swear I only did ‘Course Work’ 7 times and I got the achievement… Maybe I just can’t count? I only had 7 crimson assassin tokens when I got the achievement… which bumped up to 15 once I chose the 8 tokens as a reward.

I think it’s a stupid way to get the skins too. I would have liked it if we were able to purchase the skins via the TP

I forgot to do the SAB daily yesterday (still ongoing today but I’m at work), & I currently only have 3 Crimson Assassin Tokens. I believe by April 20 (the last day of SAB) I will only have 35 tokens. I want a 2h, 1h & off hand weapon, which will cost 36 tokens total. Am I SOL now? Is there something that might save me?

Based on what I know, a lot of players (including myself) have to use a quarter of our inventory to hold second gear sets, food, currency, etc. Please give us bigger bags

well, having looked for it a while I know it’s not there, but there is one for plenty other weapons (all of them?) so I guessed I’ve missed it. It’s common to find a speedup in some specialization for every main weapon I’ve equipped on other characters, and it’s a matter of deciding if I can stand the specialization or do without the speedup.

You’re saying for a new 2H item brought on by the dragonhunter elite specialization, you can’t speed up the recharge, even if I give up something I really need/want?

Who keeps suggesting that outfits/armor have a leg cape?!?! I’m sick of it! I feel like it makes otherwise good outfits/armor look so… so… asymmetrical! Why can’t more outfits/armor be symmetrical?

No, I use ShadowPlay. I couldn’t find an external recorder that could do 1440p/60fps. One of the few reasons I wish I never went past 1080p lol… Oh well.
