I honestly am grateful that traps don’t daze anymore. I never realized how stupid it was that people could interrupt me so easily until yesterday. I just wish that instead of slow, traps on activation gave us fury… Slow doesn’t even make sense. I would also be okay with every trap crippling enemies instead.

I think him not being level 80 in PvP is fine. It doesn’t even mean anything tbh. I used to be sub 80 tearing people up, because I dueled all day. I do think a lot of people complaining contribute to their problem. Not all, but a lot. Also, as time goes on, if he is truly meant to be top ten, then he’ll be there after playing over 100 games. MMR decay is a wonderful thing… Let’s give this system a chance.

Haha! That was my very first thought as soon as I saw there was a title for rank 1. I actually hope someone else does get it though just because I want to see how he reacts on his streams to someone else being the ‘God of pvp’, lol.

To be honest, I would absolutely love to get at least top 25 since I got number 5 on the non skill based leaderboard last season. Exclusive titles are a fantastic thing and are FAR better than the season 1-4 system where all you got was a badge that anyone of any skill can get and a place on a leaderboard nobody sees unless you are top 5.

I really can’t wait to see how high I can get. Looking forward to playing season 5.

The decay seems to be separate counter which is removed at a rate of 100 pts per game played. So if you go for a month you lose 700pts. Play 7 matches and you immediately get those 700 pts back. Easy Peasy. (no not the team)

I don’t understand how the nerfs will make playing Rev any less fun. It’s been long known that Staff 5 and Sword 2 do obscene damage.

It’s not easy to be good at Rev, but when you are good at it, it’s a very rewarding profession to play. Shout out to all the real Rev mains

What can I do to “quickly” get a golden fractal weapon? I was thinking grinding 76-100 would be the quickest way to do so. I’ve never done any of them before. I just did 1-25 for the normal fractal chest.

His recent video was good. He makes good videos in general that WvW Guardians can benefit from watching. I like how he used sword/shield in his recent video. His weapon’s skins were nice too. Durability runes are strong. So strong they were rightfully removed from PvP, lol.

I won’t say long bow > scepter, but long bow definitely has huge advantages that scepter doesn’t. Long bow doesn’t need you to be as mobile to use it well. In my opinion, you need to use Pack or Traveler runes with scepter. You have to be able to move between ranges fast to be able to use scepter well.

That feeling when you only know how to play one profession

You’re right, there are a lot of options to obtain movement speed bonuses, but what you mentioned either doesn’t work in all game modes or would take the place of something that’s actually good. That’s why I recommended a rune with power as its main stat. It’d be a good alternative for professions that lack an optimal (optimal!) access to swiftness.

Guardian staff does not have a place in PvP or raiding (as far I know)

I think they should just fix Runes of Speed removing redundant Swiftness Boon with something more useful and would be a bit more popular.

at what time stamp in the video did he actually say there was a DPS meter in alpha?

At the start of the video he says there was a 3rd party dps meter that was released, it does read memory and is 100% in violation of the ToU and could result in action being taken on your account.

I was just wondering where he said there was an official one in alpha.

Edit: Someone helped me out by stating it was at 5:47 in the video.

Also, in his video someone commented, “I wonder how DPS meter looks on alpha servers.” Nike responded by saying, “Maybe some of the raid testing guilds or devs will chime in.” That made it seem like both of them knew that DPS meters are in Alpha. Maybe I’m reading into it too much

Hi Everyone. Mesmer was one of the professions that utilized Rune of the Traveler heavily because of its passive mobility enhancement. With the introduction of Chronomancer, Mesmers no longer needed to use that rune anymore. What changes have you noticed to how well you can play because you no longer have to rely on Rune of the Traveler anymore and have 25% movement speed naturally?

I think Rune of the Traveler is a decent option to solve movement speed issues. Rune of Speed is kind of ‘meh’. I think there should be a rune with a sixth bonus that grants 25% movement speed and has power as its main stat. I think some professions have problems that can be solved with enhanced mobility. For example, Chronomancer gives Mesmers 25% movement speed. Their ability to navigate quickly through Tyria and between conquest points in PvP isn’t the only improvement better mobility gave them. I know many developers at ANet don’t want to give certain professions good mobility naturally, so how about at least making a rune that focuses on power and passive mobility? I think that’s a good compromise. I bet it makes more builds viable too, just because mobility won’t be an issue anymore…

Hi All, I just uploaded a new video here. In this video I go over my gaming setup for Guild Wars 2. I think it’s important to have a neat and organized setup with peripherals that help you game as well as you possibly can. I also talk about my keybinds and ingame options plus my current Guardian build. I hope it helps you build your own Guardian to your liking. Don’t just go with the meta. GS is definitely viable, but let’s hope it gets buffed soon!

Please please please make a greatsword skin that looks like a scythe. A staff scythe doesn’t fit.

The only problem would be, because of the way characters swing greatswords, you’d be hitting your foes with the back of the scythe shaft half the time.
