Why stop at just weapons?
Maybe it’s just me, but I would like it if all classes (not just Elementalists) had two different gear ‘templates.’ When out of combat, a single key would allow for swapping to the other template. If a slot in the template you are swapping to is empty, it would just retain what was in that slot before the template swap was initiated.
I very much agree that this bag should be account bound, especially with the 15 slot we got now from wintersday being account bound, my main character has no use for the 10 slot. I can’t destroy it though, its against my religion to destroy event items.
Not to derail too much, but how does one get the 15 slot Wintersday bag?
Class identity. There’s no reason why every class needs to be able to wear every armor type.
Except that armor type isn’t enough to identify what class someone is. On the other hand, though, imagine how great games would be if they all omitted everything that there was no reason to need.
I think the OP is spot-on. More customization is always a good thing and the armor value differences could simply be converted into an innate class and level based bonus.
But lil weakling elementalist and necromancers cannot shoulder the heavy weight of the plated heavy armor!
Though it should make perfect sense that heavy armor class can wear anything below it :P
Edit: haha, it would be funny to allow light armor class to wear it but they’ll be perma crippled or -50% movement speed :P
The whole ‘weakling elementalist’ argument seems silly to me. A Charr can be an elementalist. But all of a sudden, by choosing that profession, that Charr isn’t strong enough to wear medium or heavy armor?
Hm… if anyone calls for me, I’ll be in the toilet… getting rich!
This reminds me a phrase my father used to say to me when I was a little kid asking him to buy me something.
The effect is the same as the regen buff but there’s no icon for it. It also stacks with the normal regen buff.
Good to know! Thanks much for the information.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but the other night, I gave the backpack regenerator trait a try. When I switched to my grenade kit, however, I didn’t notice any regeneration effect being applied to me.
Is there something I’m missing? Does the effect just not have an icon?
All that EQ stuff seems pretty silly to me. I don’t see what the big deal about backflagging is. Besides, didn’t they change that system in subsequent expansions?
To me, the whole GoD expansion was a bigger screwup than backflagging in PoP. At the time, I did everything through Quarm. I raided things like that fat guy in PoDisease and that dragon in PoValor a million times to backflag other people. It didn’t seem like a huge issue to me.
And seriously, nerfing monks is one if the biggest blunders in MMO history? Classes get nerfed. Deal with it.
I haven’t gotten my first piece of ascended gear =\
The Skrittsticker: Dagger
In appearance, just a bunch junk cobbled together in the shape of a dagger. The spirit of a skritt has been infused into the blade, though, and upon any attack, the blade says “Shiny!” Any skritt to lay eyes upon the blade are forced to follow the wielder.
Would make those sigils of night (and the equivalent one for day, if it does/will exist) fun!
Skritt and Quaggan
Skritt as a playable race would be awesome!
A skritt comes down your chimney.
The way it is now people who has gotten the daily achievements since day one has a massive advantage.
Exactly what is this massive advantage about which you’re speaking?
Basically you want to beat your friends in account points, but instead of working to beat them you want them to be unable to make points?
This pretty much sums it up.
Something like what Rift implemented would be awesome. I really enjoyed puging in Rift because of how easy/quick it was to form up a group.
What did Rift do?
Rift had a cross-shard LFG tool. You could queue up as any role you currently had (tank/dps/healer/support) and it would throw together a group and port you to the dungeon.
Unless I just don’t know how, it’d be nice to be able to leave an optional note by your name saying what you’re LFG for.
