The screenshot you posted says it all. You can’t take a single thing from DR so you hit the empty DH borderlands and cap empty keeps to get a lead.

It’s more entertaining forum warring your server than actually fighting it. I have never seen a larger majority of nutcup than what IoJ throws out. When you do finally find an IoJ not attached to the red mass like a vampiric leech, they won’t even fight back. They just keep auto running ahead, in hopes that they will run into one of the 16 zergs present on the current map.

Hehe, whilst your call-out of “16 zergs” is clearly arbitrary and definitely bait, if IoJ actually had that many zergs on the map, they’d all be made up of 1 or 2 players, thus contradicting the rest of your statement. Perhaps you just need some practice in 1v1’s or 1v2’s? Fight club is generally on Thursdays, isn’t it?

If I had to guess I would say it was either Magast or Spy Of Evil. As for the rest of the group I’m not sure I know I was running around IoJ by myself picking random fights but it was a bit earlier than that.

Well good job to that Necro, either way – when we hit his group we initially started to focus him, but decided that his buddies were a bit squishier. It was only until the end, when too many of you guys swarmed us and we needed to retreat in to bay, that we actually looked at our combat logs and realised that he should have been the guy to focus down throughout the fight, hehe.

As a side note, I’d just like to add my apologies to all of DH for any misinterpretation any of my posts this thread may have caused – I do not aim to slew personal insults (bar that one case, with that one player…) to anybody in particular, unless I’ve been given good reason to. When I do say something of poor etiquette, and I target “DH”, it is to that 0.1% of players that are doing the wrong thing.

Other than that, we’ve had great fights all week, and many very late nights were had hitting the other borderlands to make up for that PPT difference with DH. Good luck all.

One person placing AC’s is not the reason we win.

when that AC is used to destroy all inner siege defending a keep, then yes, it is the reason you win. You see DH is so insistent on running karma traints 24/7 with they’re 50+ man zergs and yet they have to exploit to turn everything paper so they can flip it whenever they want allowing them to maintain a 300-400+ ppt for 8-10 hours a day.

TL;DR
basically exploiting is the only reason I’ve ever seen Abys manage to take a fully defended keep. And it’s one of the main reason DH has managed to stay in the lead.

Hmmmm, my group hardly ever uses AC’s, unless we are defending a tower/keep. I very, VERY rarely go into EB (too much lag and dc), so no, AC hacks are NOT the reason we are in the lead. I guarantee the group I run with in the borderlands has a little to do with the PPT…..

the person we’ve seen primarily abuse this exploit has been edgy, as well as a few others. We’re not accusing you in particularly of this we’re just saying your guild has alot of commanders who abuse the zoom exploit. I mean they’re has been PLENTY of evidence provided in this thread and denying it at this point is beyond stupid.

Also as a side note I talked with edgy a few times before and edgy’s excuse for the zoom exploiting is he says he plays on a 50-60" monitor (I think he called it his “superior gaming equipment?”) w/e the reason it’s still cheap and I think you guys should try and convince him to play on a 1920×1080 resolution because w/e he currently plays at allows him to cheat.

I also spoke to him today, and he didn’t even address his reason for it. He just kept talking about how apparently IoJ uses the same ‘hacks’; and yet on multiple occasions throughout this forum we’ve stated that we will readily call out any such cheaters within our community – as long as we know that it’s happening.

So I’ll state it again for all of DH – join one of our parties (usually the higher ranked players will be familiar with everyone on a more personal level) and tell them it’s happening. We’ll handle it within our own community.

Picture related is what finally managed to get through to inner, but sadly it doesn’t do it justice. DH was also attacking us from the west gate, and we just didn’t have enough to spot the treb they also tactically constructed at the southern part of hills. I’m sure if we had gotten that first shot off, the whole picture would have changed. Props, however, to the FURY thief that I have targeted in that picture – that’s some nice siege placement, and it had us all raging. :P

Also, what’s all this talk about an alliance? Red name, fair game. No one guild or person can act on behalf of the whole server.

Hey everyone! Good fights tonight. Lots of good roaming in FC’s corner of EB after IoJ went on it’s 680PPT rampage. Ran in to some small groups of [Deth], namely a ranger and a warrior. Good fights were had. Kinda sucks that one of your zerglings laughed at us when you wiped us. But such is life with the unorganised pick up groups, right?

Once more, we’re looking for 3v3’s – 5v5’s throughout the next week. Send Fellblade a whisper in game.

I actually tried that, because I knew that somebody would comment on it. Thankfully my instincts were correct!

Picture 1 shows the exact location of the person using the arrow cart, and the most zoomed out position on a 1920 * 1080 resolution, with a 24 inch monitor. I’d also just like to note (in case the retort is made), that regardless of a monitor’s size, game resolution is the determining factor of how far over the wall one can see – not monitor size.

Picture 2 shows the furthest one can see over the wall at the same resolution. Note that I’m standing far higher than the person in the original screen shot. Now I’d love to see it demonstrated how the red ring in the original picture manages to be so far inside the wall, at such a resolution. Note that the same 90 degree wall structure can be found at the DH keep, so feel free to demonstrate there! Also, if somebody could clarify how AC fire was targeting the top of the IoJ keep, where it’s impossible to hit at ground level, that’d be great. My old eyes are deceiving me, and this all needs to be cleared up – so that I can use it in future seiges

Hey everyone, [roam]’s had a great match up so far. Hopefully it has been a pleasure fighting us.

In particular I’d like to make a shout out to the female [RICH] ranger in the screenshot attached – you made my day. First you laugh and dance on us as you wipe us with a zerg of 15 (we’re 3 players, just to clarify), and then when we return (still the same 3 as before) and wipe your RELM buddies, you run in to SM and hit us from the wall. Now I have absolutely nothing against your RELM colleagues – in fact, they were honourable enough not to run away in to SM when it was clear we had destroyed your 6ish players. I even attempted to add one of them to the party in order to appologise for our laughing. He declined, which is understandable, but hopefully he reads this and understands.

Just to clarify, our spam laugh was purely aimed at you, not your buddies. You’re dirt. You’re a terrible player. And most of all, you’re a coward. I guess you just can’t deal with zerg babbies like you with reason.

P.S. Your build is terrible, and even hitting us from the SM wall, you had no impact on our health bars. Time to re-think it.
P.P.S. The rest of RICH has my utmost respect. I’ve fought a mesmer, and that guy was extremely tough, and a lot of fun.

Well considering last week where 2 servers that I dont remember ever having cross words with (other than a couple guild to guild hate) focused on us the smallest of the three… I fully expect to wake up spawn camped after the weekend is over, considering the horrible divorce we went through.

Don’t worry, the commanders that I remember spawn camping you guys haven’t been commanding much recently; and GoM’s oceanic presence is formidable enough to give us a challenge. Your Oceanics are safe from IoJ!

In regards to the previous hate between our servers; personally, I really enjoy fighting DR. Your roamers are more fun than most of the other low-tier roamers – and you actually put up a fight 1v1. And we can’t forget Fight Club! My favourite past-time!

Good fight to the HOTS thief last night. Your kiting abilities are admirable. I’m not too sure if you just got sick of fighting me, or if my random stacks of bleed were actually having a toll on your health bar (especially considering I’m not even condition specced), but I think it’s fair to say that stomp on my behalf was probably unwarranted – and you could have easily gotten away, had the need arisen. Good fights, nonetheless!

Sadly my performance at fight club was not as admirable. Generally around that time my internet goes terribly; and the one fight that I did participate in against the condition ranger went abashedly awry. I promise you that display is not characteristic of my normal abilities!

In regards to IoJ roamers – I generally play 11pm – 2 am AEST (8am EST, I think). Send me a whisper in game if you’d like to organise some fights – I’m always open to improve my abilities, and I’ve been theory crafting a new build recently that I wanted to try out!

I am now the official, self-appointed, IoJ representative and I love all of you guys with all of my heart.

[roam]‘s first group outing together has been a somewhat success! We performed tasks such as portal bombs, tower defense, and some open-field combat. A completely different ball game than what we’re used to; running solo and in pairs.

Hopefully the warrior commanding from ET enjoyed those fights up at Sunnyhill and Dawn’s as much as we did. I think we could have held you guys off for a bit longer had your spawn not been right next to there. I was watching the tally from 3 minutes when our situation got a bit nasty and our first player dropped, and we managed to make it until 45 seconds before we wiped. Lots of good fun!

To the DR warrior from EDGE, sorry about the other IoJ guys! I told the ones in my party to back off because I wanted a 1v1, but the other guys not in my party wouldn’t listen.

EDIT: Encountered you guys again! Good fight. Really fun. Our group leader was trying to get us into the choke but we saw too many windows of opportunity, and ultimately that led to our demise.

Good fun nonetheless. You two were definitely carrying the others, though. :P

Aw, I was expecting at least a bow or salute after the 8 of us wiped your larger group twice, farmed you at lords and kept Mendons for an extra three tics for IoJ.

[roam] is having fun! That 2v2 with AD at the front of Hills just then was enjoyable. Our first encounter in the tunnel was disrupted by my need to address something outside of GW2, and our thief was kind of left alone, but I hopped right back into the action soon after! Although we do feel kind of dirty for hitting you as soon as you almost got that upleveled ele down. Hopefully leaving you alone as you got them beforehand was enough moral compensation?

It sucks that ET jumped us all, though.

Having said that, I wouldn’t mind fighting you Gab. Time to see what all the fuss is about, I suppose.

Awesome defense of Bay tonight, DR. I had a lot of fun, and a lot of loot bags, even though we were on the receiving end of the threshing. Sadly a lot of our pugs weren’t cooperating with our commander’s efforts at a push, and I’m sure you noticed that twin portal bombing to the wall… with a very weak after-push into your lord’s.

But really, that was an excellent effort – and at that one stage where we had a fair number of our guys in your lord’s, you made an excellent comeback.

It seems you’ve gotten a lot better since we last met two weeks ago; I’m not sure if it’s a server-wide effort, or just in a few guilds, but it’s really noticeable. My respect has been earned!

Was a really fun matchup. DDLG had great times in IoJ BL. Tough groups from both IoJ and ET. I like how the first thing IoJ did when met zerg v zerg was flash build an arrow cart. Gave us a nice big clump to rain hell on.

kitten , I never remembered you DDLG guys as this tactically organised – although the last times we crossed swords had been in small-man situations. I was in that group that wiped you guys at our top right tower (Crag? Haven’t played in green BL in a bit so I can’t remember), but hell, we had about twice your numbers there. Really good grouping and organising on your behalf. Whoever was leading that group has definitely got some great discipline going, and everyone that followed them worked REALLY well together.

I will be excited, however, to see how well we all play in small-scale combat, and I hope to see everyone at fight club on Thursday!
