has anyone heard if they plan to add new usages for rare mats lower than t6?
i’m pretty sure there are plenty minor ways to get use of those but nothing significant.
Also if it wasn’t for the dam elonian wine required for the upgrading recipe they would already have a use, but since that is aan artificial barreer imposed by the devs, i starting to think that the lodestone price is suppposed to be that high and there are no plans to reduce it further than they did with these mass farming events.
Wasn’t it easyer to reduce elonian wine cost to 12s or lower? and for t6 fine, wasn’t easyer to increase the output of upgrading recipes?
this would bring up the prices of lower tiers and reduce the expensiveness of t6 of both rare and fine t6 mats.

When on a tight budget an SSD is a big no no. Its just a drain on ur wallet. the money spent on an SSD would be much better spent ,with a budget like this, on a better GPU or CPU.Spend money on things that give a high performance boosts 1st.

a faster cpu would make your pc better only in certain situation, a better gpu will make your pc faster in even less situation, beside gaming.
i’m pretty sure that if you build a pc you don’t want to use it only for gw2 and an ssd is by far the best upgrade you can make on a pc, boot time is way shorter, programs starts b4 u realize u made the 2 click!
think of it, anything that is saved on a disk needs to be put in ram memory to beused.
sure, ram is dam fast memory, but the bottleneks is the hdd in this case (ram speed is to be considered also when comunicating withthe cpu).
when you open gw and load a map (i guess!!!!!!) is loaded into ram, so the total max speed achivable is your hdd speed.
an ssd in general would make a loading screen like 5 time faster (for offline games i guess), even tho is true that network has a role for mmo.
ssd are dam cheap compared to 2-5 years ago, and have different ranges and models.
for 200$ you get 5x better performance (hdd average 100MB/s ssd 500MB/s) 80% of the time you use a pc.
no compare this to an upgrade from latest i5 to latest i7 “extreme”, 250$ to 1k$ and i’m not sure you get that multiplier even in benchmarks!
i’m keeping 150 safe while spending the rest on t6.
t6 costs money, so is a good way to get to 250 stack.
if something ever come out to be bought with laurels, like armors or weap (i doubt), or “T7” mat i want to be sure i have some safe laurels to buy a decent amount.
at the end time gating will back fire on them, they cannot make new stuff too expensive, because ppl new to the game will take too long thus crashing their entitlement feeling.
so they either put out new stuff for decent price or simply won’t put out new stuff for laurels!!

Lesson here, when you introduce new items that you want acquisition take time, have both a time-gated currency and a random drop from every critter currency (like kite fortune scraps). Then you make the items cost either X time gated currency or y drop based currency. Toss in the possibility to convert one into the other at some unfriendly but better than nothing rate and everybody’s catered to.

Okay, I’m not getting this it takes longer for casual players to get this stuff argument.Let’s say it takes me 30 days to get something. It takes a casual player the same 30 days to get it. That is to say, the days that player is not playing don’t count, because they’re not playing.
So it takes me 30 days of game time to get the stuff, same as them.
The days they’re not playing, they’re not playing. It’s the same with how much money I earn.
If I get X money per day then I"ll have more money then them after 30 days. But not necessarily more money after they’ve played for 30 days.

we all have differnt time schedule, i sure that many people like me cannot play every day, and i mean every single day of my life.
usually my duties take me some very intensive day where altho icould connect to comple those ridiculus daily, i’d rather prefere to die on my bed.
on the other hand on saturdayb usually is full time play.
then i do play 12 hrsand get 1 laurel, 1cristal and 1 teddy bear whatsoever.
mister x logs in each day for 30 mins top, for a total of 3.5hr and get 7 times of what i had.
ya know when mmo were p2p u felt you must play to give value to money spent and was bad, now we did an improvement but the resoults are the same, i must play every single day or i cannot keep up.
+1 to less gated content. asuming that is correct that hardcore ppl shouldnt get what they want when they want, which is not, this need to be at least weekly wtf why not monthly.
Many ppl can play in weekends, or on certain days only.
i can play only some days during the week and weekend.
As it is now if i want something time gate, laurels ie, i just connect rush the daily asap and log off.
while i could dedicate a full day doing the weekly tasks and dedicate the rest o my playtime to actually play the game instead of working on it.
or heck i could also play 48 h straigt and then stop for two weeks why not?
or is this just to say that they have x login a week, never mind if u keep logged in for 20 mins.
and this story of hardcore players and casuals that needs to be on the same level is bullkitten, i’m a casual omehow and i don’t need anet mommy to keep my hand and say thos bad pro guys are no better than me and not gona hurt me anymore after they’ll time gate the hell out of them!

bro, u said it the problem is adrenaline building.
if you use a ranged weapon as second, like rifle or sb, takes ages to build adrenaline, and i kinda like doing 20k dps with that short cooldown.
i really doubt you can build enough adrenaline to compensate the loss, the cooldown itself of the burst is long enough to make this choice undesireable by far.
also, i speak about pve mostly, never really been into wvw or pvp to judge, but idon’t think that there are additional benefits there we don’t see in pve.
with all the folks runnin a gs warr, i see a huge ++itstorm if they ever do this lol!

as for guild i’m in a nice international guild, and i’m fine with english, also found an italian 1 on underworld, moreover ofc i have a stash guild named after me (olo).
complaints were after the implementation of the idea of guild, not the ppl in mine !
SPVP WvW considerations and conclusions:
I guess you understood by now that we are pve players, therefore we can’t get deep into considerations.
For spvp, I must say I quite like it, mostly hot join, you know get in, bash some heads, 3-4 rounds, get daily eventually and out.
Up to now I don’t really see an esport future for this but i can definitely be wrong
WvW is way more fun and I used to play a bit, what hold me back to love it is the lack of command chain as I said in guild section, the zerg based assaults and the need to do long run backl when dead. Mostly the last one tho.
As a conclusion we feel we need to give our kudos to the whole team, we can find the game boring a bit sometimes after almost a year, but we forget how great were the first times
Anet has a god like power on this world and changes cannot be made lightly as with big powe r comes big responsibilities, so the time will say bu as Colin spent time telling us what will be, and we’re quite excited about that, we felt like giving out a comprehensive feedback of what it has been for us, pros and cons.
Well pros are definitely more, and gw2 really helped us in this transitory moment of our lives, filled the excess of free time (due to.. scarce.. employment) actually saved money (Tyria is still cheaper than clubs) and gave us a brand new interest to be shared.

Builds and balance:
We’re not experts, never did theorycrafting so we won’t get much deep into details, I can just say that more options are welcome. always.
Build variety is a kind of issue, but mostly is due to the lack of complete division beteween pvp pve and wvw.
Ranger is a clear example of this problem, nerfed again and again to balance pvp just to make it trash in pve.
I have a lvl 15 one and won’t level it soon, Sara sadly has a lvl 80 which is not used since months.
For a pve player the biggest barrier to jump into pvp or wvw is not some build differences, but the human behind enemy ai, I see no reason to keep wvw pvp and pve similar at expenses of some profession in some aspects of the game.
As for new profession my opinion is no, not now, we need to polish what we have then create a new problem from scratch.
Another long due stuff is build templates, I don’t care make me pay the double but I’d like to switch build anywhere out of combat with 1 click. That would make me go wvw far more and put new interest in build discovery.
Legendary, Precursors and the grind.
For a pve player legendary are the goal, plain and simple. While is true that some are not gonna get it nor are after it most do.
When talking about this topic I feel that before talking we should state our current legendary status
We have no legendary, no precursor at all and we don’t have major gifts (sara got gift of mastery).
We have almost the gift of mastery, I’m close to gift of might and half way to magic. Sara is almost the same but lacks a bit of t6 more
Lodestones are still far away I’d say we have 20 each.
Anyway since I guess lodestones will come easyer to get, as t6 I hope with incoming changes, this is no worry to us
The main point is the precursor. Up to now all the gifts are gold/mats sinks and is fine, the game needs some.
But the precursor is the way you guys have to give our legendary the sense of legend.
In the future we’ll have crafting to 500, and is fine, but is time gated. We’ll have new mats but will likely be time gated like quartz crystals.
No problem with that, but then we red that we will likely need tons of them to craft a precursor..OMG.
I can be wrong, I want to be wrong, but would be fine if is a friendly time gating to block 1 day speed runner, like you need the mats, can get 1 per day but you have a long and difficult enough skill based quest to accomplish, so you barely notice the grind, but really really really no one want’s another gift of luck to craft the precursor, no way, to be a solution it needs to be kitten ring than cof 10h a day, and the solution isn’t either to make cof infinitely more boring you know..

Guilds:
I’m not gonna say many good words her, sadly.
The idea of guild is nice itself, bring ppl together, sensation of belonging to something and “warband” comrades feeling.
All great on papers but the implementation is terrible. Guilds are close to pointless, guild missions apart.
-1 no pve commander and sub commander ranks, no guild limite map tags, no pve commander squad chat and command chain, no possibility to divide the guild into sub groups.. explain itself.
-no guild hall, drops down the sense of union.
-no gvg, I mean this is Guild Wars, nobody cares Is not balanced, it doesn’t have to be valid for leaderboards, It needs to be a fun activity to challenge other guilds and grow the sense of unity.
Not much else to say but for endgame I see nothing more important than guilds, people will make me play this game in years to come more than a new dungeon each month.
Personal story:
Well is fine, I liked it the first time and also the subsequent ones, till lvl60 I guess when all the racial story becomes the same thraherrn kitten.
Well we all know he kittens lol.
Make him die under an asteroid and the celebrations will be bigger than the one for dragon bash.
World bosses:
Good, I like them, some de chain are a bit dumb, they should be all like modnir but they are fine, with the guaranteed rare are ok.
Much room for improving and new ones, but beside culling and lag sometimes is good as it is.
I’d promote some of them to world bosses like megadestroyer and gates of arah but well not up to me.
The API stuff is great, so much you can do with this and really deserves improvements, I can see I bright future on api for many aspects of the game.
Living story:
Great idea, we are getting new stuff to do every 2 weeks and is free. Yeah a lot of stuff was dumb/unpolished but I see it is getting better and better. I still don’t get all the temporary content but is getting better.
What really would make this great is the increase of impact that this have on the open world, permanent impacts ofc. And I’d abandon this sort of spin off we had from dragons so wei’ll eventually see orr cleansed and so on but we’ll eventually get there.
We didn’t see much up to now so I haven’t much to say.

Well frustrated and naked I got back to my standard world exploration and never stepped a foot in those portals till 80 and exo! Lol
This is just to say that imho a dungeons named lvl 35 well is indeed a lvl80 lol and this can be a bit confusing. Now I know that the story can be barely of the level represented while exp mode are hands-up lvl80 instances. No story on this, you can do it with a party of 4×80 and 1 underleveled but you feel the difference.
No way a non veteran group of lvl 35, casually geared ppl is gonna beat Koller, nooo way.
After that is all a matter of training, trials and fails. Build tune up and so on. While is tru that some mechanics are a bit dumb, overall we really enjoyed dungeons, with moments of frustration and crazy joy for our victories.
But again the drop was a problem. I’d gladly spend hours on a hard path trying to improve performance, build amd team work if is worth the effort but it isn’t.
Arah p4= cof p1, that’s the point..
But you are working on that, I saw that and thanks! I really hope a lot in this, makes me really want to cry when I find no one to do a “unfashionable path” .
A cof pro farmer can do 10g in an hour, kitten him, I’m quite sure that if I can get 3g from a coe run, 1 hour worth would be enough to bring lots of ppl from cof farming to other dungeons.
Leave cof as it is, hardcore farmers deserve it, tune up other reward significantly, and imho a lot of farmers will end up spreading trough all the dungeon, generating same if not loess total gold, but with far more fun.
A shame too that some of best dungeons are gone but we’ll live and see, I’m sure they’ll bring them back somehow.
By the way we both had our dungeon master title, and we both agree that dungeon are fine as they are mechanics wise and are for sure the part of the game we enjoyed more by far.
Our favorite dungeon is COE, as a warrior is amazing, being able to melee down a boss with all those nasty aoe, get timing , dodge like crazy and evade with whirlwind, simply great .
To all the warriors, can be a hard time, just disable double tap to evade, use V or whatever, dodge trough the boss, yes you can! fold your trusty rifle, gs is a must here and get an axe+ warhorn.
A war with warhorn can be a life saver sometimes for the group, two can be game changer, due to swiftness and vigor, never underestimate ! this can turn the dungeon from a nightmare to a wonderful experience!
What we’d like to see is more dungeons at least one per map, also outside fractalsn we really wish more standard dungeons in the future.

Is coming, we all know so I won’t criticize much, was long due, and the lack of up to now is a reason on what im’ gonna say about guilds.

Up to now we experienced most of them at least once, and I’d do 1000’s new if they are introduced.
Is also true that when you are in the game for a while you loose the sense of discovery, and If you know how the chain is gonna end can make the event a bit grindy.
There are also events we didn’t enjoy after the first time at all, I mean nobody enjoys collecting apple in queensdale after the first time.. but I guess that was intentionally designed this way and the rest of big events make up for this.
My personal favorite chain I definitely the Modnir one. Both for me and Sara. Jumping from a camp to another, the trill of conquer, ending up in a world boss with epic scenario, epic voice acting, and (a bit less) epic fight. Very well done.
Second best is the chain on the pirate island, with the quaggan, lol for sure!
That pice is a kind of little gem of narrative, the correct mix of fight and “silliness” , can really drop a smile from you every time.
Remarks on Des:
The drops. Really, sometimes can be quite frustrating, it was worst before, and I see you are working on that even further. When you go on with the game you may end up wanting to solo an event with a champ or make it with just another player, and the battle are quite epic indeed (sometimes) but the rewards mmm kittens?.
And my first suggestion:
Disclaimer: this is not a blueprint solution to the problem, just a raw idea numbers are casual an likely to be not balanced! Feel free to insult anyway.
as now we know that mf is gonna die as a item stat, and you are rolling out the scaling system on more and more des, well why not scale up mf on an inverse proportion base? And make it party wise ofc, like I start a champ alone, bring him down to 75%, I get 25%mf.
Then a guy comes and I add him to my party so he gets 25%too. We keep killing the guy and we bring him to 50% so we get another 25% but /2 since we are two ppl, so a total of 25+12% and so on. Ow and the champ reward is long due, and a perfect solution to lack of t6 and lodestones.
Dungeons:
Well the first impact is omg! You feel so noob at the beginning and here is an anecdote:
Was roaming around with my charr warrior in Plains of Ashford and I saw a shining portal. Was still so confused and after that ele I was feeling so powerful.
Advised number of player 5.. nah I can do it lol.
Jumped in solo at lvl 15 and got ganked several times by those nasty spike traps! Then vaporized from that lizard another 100 times.

I suddenly discovered that race is just a matter of cosmetic and beside some racial skills has nothing to do with performance.
Than the experience degraded to almost impossible to play, we all know, ele is not for beginners!
So I started my actual main, a Charr warrior, which I still enjoy enormously.
From here even if it wasn’t easy, It’s been a trilling, relaxing, and surpriseful experience altogether.
Fore Sara was a bit different she jumped into the brave new world of Tirya with strong shoulders to back her up and a full time guidance trough the most technical part of the game (builds) and a companion to hardest story missions.
Gifted her some golds and babysitted trough the leveling process, upgrading gear every 10 lvls.
She started a female norn guardian and always stick to it as main character.
The experience was suddenly great and enjoyable from the char creation panel to lvl80.
Leveling and exploring a brand new world:
Won’t differentiate here since I started my second char as soon as she jumped into the game, a little asura thief, and at 80 we focused on getting map completion.
With each-other’s help we both reached 80 in a week of hard gaming, but I won’t consider that hardcore or powerleveling as was more like “omg is 5 am and I can’t w8 to see that new map!”.
Till 80% of map we enjoyed every single vista we found and she toke a screen of each one as a picture to make an album, like you do for irl travels.
The world is bright and shining, and exploration is awesome the first time you do it, that feeling of a surprise waiting for you just around the next corner was great.
Heart quests were hard to do sometimes, we are no English native speakers so sometime was hard to understand the quest and what we had to do but we managed. On this I have to make my first remark sadly.
These quests tend to be repetitive and boring after a little, but together another appreciation, is the same of other games( ie skyrim), but here we have far more than that DYNAMIC EVENTS.
Anyway our final judgment on the open world is “OMG WOW”, yeah there are some glitches, some stuck events, and so on but is nothing compared to the emotion coming from exploring one of the best digital world ever created, our congrats to the designers!
Dynamic events
GREAT, simply, coming from static games that feels dumb after the first time, this is simply great.
You are exploring the map and suddenly the events pops up and you have to do this quite epic quest and then it finishes into another event, a chain that can drive you away from what you were doing making exploration an experience different every day.

Introducing ourself:
My name is Paolo, and I’m writing this with my gf Sara, I started playing a bit later than day 1, like in October, and Sara started in Gen following my advice on how amazing this game was.
I’m not new to gaming in general, I’m 25 so I was there when diablo1 and baldurs gate were on the top, but I never actually played a real mmo since I always refused to pay a monthly subscription. So no wow for me, I bvarely know the graphics and have really close to no idea of what trinity is and what a true gear treadmill is.
As for sara well she never played a single game beside angrybirds before.. lol!
Marketing strategy :
Well what to say, the first enormous pro we can see is the fact that the game is relatively cheap and free from monthly fees, kudos, I’d never even considered it if it wasn’t and this is even more true for Sara.
That’s a strategy that is highly aimed toward the casual gamer that isn’t sure about the game to buy a pre order or a collector edition.
And it payd off since I’m like 90% sure that 90% of the sales the game had were just right for this
RNG boxes are the drawback, just gonna say I agree on what 90% says on the forum
The beginning:
I’m gonna make a difference on the experience we had, since they are quite different.
For me well, not gonna lie the impact was tough, had close to no support from the guy that introduced me to the game and I had to make up myself into the enormous amount of information and waste a lot of time on try and fails, wasted a lot of money on wrong gears and builds.
As first char I made a Silvary elementalist. Because you know the race must have something to do with the profession, a char cannot be that good as ele right? Lol wrong

now for the time gated ones i kinda agree that is a bit lame, what i’d do is to give the possibility to these players to experience old content trough a sort of gem store purchase, or whatever.

i’d pay miself to do mad king tower again after all these months.
but i’d be perfecly fine too if they make mad king available again next nov..

well i’m in for precursor in ap chest, account bound ofc (what an idea for the legendary istself uh?!!?) but definetly not at 5k.
I’m at 7k, so i’d have it day one. i don’t have it atm nor i’m close to it. but it would need to be at 10k minimum, if not 15k.
only anet knows how many ap we gonna get in say a year, so i can’t say but it needs to be that 99% of accounts won’t get it day one, if it was my case ii’d be more disapointed than not ever getting it.
and this because the solution itself doesn’t solve main problem.
the various gifts are kinda ok as they are, the game needs some sinks, be it mats or gold.
even the clovers are good, even if i used to have a different opinion back then lol.
precursor is the only way for them to add a bit more lore into what otherwise is just a pure grind.
Or why not… a kite surf! cosmetic kite to surf over the water, can’t w8 to sail over the sea! kite surf FTW!
when fistrted the game i made a sylvary ele, and i was conviced that staff was the choice to be made.
made this choice because i tought that race was going to make difference in performance, but i died like 1000 times in caledon, and i really hated the “Happy” apearance of silvary males.
got to lvl 10 and moved to another char.
had thelession of happy sylvary apearance, i did a charr warrior, super easy leveling, become my main char istantly, now i run it in zerky build and can do everything, my main choice for harder content.
for second i leveled an asura thief…. what a pain lol thief are so squishy and needs to build up the action to be effective, toke really ages to level up but is one of the most enjoyable gamplay i found.
third well the hardest imho, another ele, whith knowledge from thief was a bit less of a pain but still.. leveling solo is really hard, ele really need a tanky buddy in most pve situations.
long cast time and no mobility (yes, for me ele can is staff,) but along comes the wanderfull support, healing and whatever he provides.
imho is the most powerfull and versatile class in the game, (well thos guardianns lol), now is 80 and full exo (zerk gear ad staff is huge sustained dps, combo fields, healing, boons…).
one advice i can give for eles is to find a good leveling buddy to help you out, possibly a guardian or a warr, do dungeons whenever you reach x5 lvl to level up faster (1lvl per run almost) and craft. did 3 full crafting on mine and is like 30lvls.
last i’m still leveling (75) is a mesmer, and i don’t really understand all these complaints, sure is non noob profession and can get you frustrated if done wrong, but hey is still the old go zerk and melt’em..!
what can be hard about it is the lack of aoe (but never like thief d/d lol) and the need to build the action and not just facetank.
what i used mostly is gs, whhic is imho a bit underpowered, staf and sword/focus.
what makes pve mesmer hard is that the enemy seems not to care about illusions and keeps on targeting you regardless, unlike ranger pets.

this game has no hard mode, but if you are new to tis kind of game, starting with an ele, mesmer or thief is like beginning a game in hard mode.

well i’d keep it but remove these “unfair” points. points from gw1 should not couunt as i understand that at top ranking are hunting already hard enough achivements to find themself 500ap farther from the top.
Moreover the title and stuff imho is already a lot, specially the title. absolutely no problem with that but this ap stuff may be gone too far.
Not my case but can be that someone who today is still young, was to yung to play back then, or whatever, imho the shouldn’t count for leaderboards, fine if they do for some more free shinies.

for dailys dunno, here is more mine field, a player who did log in every day kinda earned it even if is also true that back then daily was a huge ap source(40/day?).
a solution would be to “normalize” old dailys to be worth the max of a today daily (8?) top.
what really need to be reworked completly is the ammount given for hard achivements like dunno equip FIVE legendaries??
or more seriously pretty much all pvp/wvw achivement needed a x5 if not x10 boost..

a funny thing is that one of the most apealing bits i found is Modnir Ulghot (or whatever) world boss, even in a bright open space, those words: “i’ll crash your fragile bones with a flick of my mind!” the tone of voice, can instil fear in my grown up rude charr warrior.
i’d even add some splatter effects, like bones cracking when stomped, blood slashing around with a 100 blades, some effects on bodies laying on the ground like cutted limbs, not because i’m a violecnce freak but just for a matter of realism.
I also understand that to apeal a bigger pool this can’t be done, i can imagine hordes of parents complaining about it.

ow i don’t agree with repair cost, btw, for a pve player. pve players are definetly those who get most “gold” fro the game. 11s with full broken armor is affordable to any serious pve player.

i’m mostly pve player, for me what held me back is the lack of waypoints.
i agree is impossible to have wp like in pve but for example n your home borderland usually the fights are lghtyears away from first available wp, so if you die you have a 15 min run back.
anything would be better than this, dunno put a cd on respawn rate, or something but this is really the only thing i don’t like of wvw.
well zergfest are not fun at all too and lag is a probem too.
last day we wer at stonemist, 1 team attacked and another was defending, lagged but was still acceptable.
when third server joined was simply lol, would have been great but was mpossible to play.
we also know that wvwe is cpu intensive, but i do refuse to agree on that when a game is using only 1 of my 8 cores, is like if you say that a car is not fast enough, with a v8 engineusing only one cyinder! i don’t have to buy a car that run faster with a single cilynder, maybe the engine need to be reworked to ue all the powr at his own disposition.
i’m an IT guy with passion for hardware but i won’t buy a 1k€ cpu just because you want me to have 12l engine instead of a alread well suited 3l just cause you want me to use 1/x of it’s power.

-the ready button is selected but never apeared
-the minimum pl i tried all settigs, Always logging in and out, now is set to 0 which i hardly know what means, but wtf

Time to make sPVP free2play. Remove the need to purchase the PVE game to play PVP. That’s necessary to bring in players.
They can just do what they did back in GW1, which is to sell a PvP-only version of the game for a much, much cheaper price. This could work well in GW2, to boost the PvP playerbase and even increase sales if they later decide to upgrade to the Full Game Version.

As someone said 20€ for a private server is not much, and 9€ to mantain is even less.
thinkin about moving to australia (from italy). well here in italy 9€ is two pack of cigs, in uk is barely 1 pack and n australia is like half!
as i see it, every customarena opened is avirtual server dedicated to you, so it will be there waiting, that you play o not, and mostly with limitations, so nobody but you and your guil/friends will use those already allocated resources.
i know that it will be far les than the price you pay, but in this case therìs also a cost involved, ram, cpu disk space electricity bills, connection andwidth and so on.
Since this is only area where pvp can make moneys for them, you are not suposed to buy a custom arena from beginning, unless you really use it for tournament or guild stuff, but more important you cannot have it for free, and not even with in-game gold.
if was in 5€ range, now everyone would have it, and they would need a Google-style datacenter to handle that!
I guess this works like anESXI environment, with an automated virtual machine creation script, each arena is a virtual server itself.
You may have notice that when you create one it says that there can be some minutes of delay b4 it is available to play, imho isbcause the vm template is being aplied and booting up.
this is somehing really hard to handle, on a phisical sever they can overbook ofc, hoping that not all vm are on at sme time, but you cannot exagerate.
For a guildof a decent size is a ridiculus price, ask a 1g donation to each member and you et it, make lottery and stack up money, or just drink two beer less this month since you think is so important.
for small guild made up by friends, hell just share, gold or irl cash .
and do not envy pvers cause we get gold, or you can get some “buy this crate to get a random possibility to get a custom arena token..lol!”

what i noticed is the following,
we been playing in 3 ppl for like an hour or so wih the match saying “waiting for players”, 2 in one team and theand me alone in the other team.
as son as a random guy joined the match automatically started.
the problem seems to be with less than 4 players in the arena.
moreover there should e a ready button like in tournaments which is not there, and the area is permitted (whitelist) to my guild (drunken brotherhood on underworld eu)
and a couple of friends so i don’t get why a random guy was allowed to get in.

the problem is that if you fdoesn’t have it full filled, is the first place to be filled by loot too being rare exo or crap..
yep i admit that the soution posted there would solve the problem, even if not in its roots.
Stll there would be some trouble swaping exo swith rares if like me you have both boxes,m but would be really enough to be good to go.

i can confirm that rares goes to the rare box when doing world bosses and stuff, but i can hardly confirm that exos goes in that one, even if probably they are, can u see the problem? lol
as said in the oher topic, these are far form useless, as a 20 slot box costs 10g, but as is true that the green one is well Worth the price, tthe rare one may have a reason to exist for world boss farmers, the exo is simply lol because i guess i didn’t drop 20 exos since i started playing.

i find it strange that they give out bags so cheap, since if they are 10g only you are more likely to buy more slots, but not implementing this functionality is jst a missed opportunity to give out a quality of life improvment, whith no loss for them or other ppl.

the “bug” is not only with 1handed—>2handed, if you simply unequip an item by dragging it off it has the same behaviour, goin to first slot available..
i know 18 slots are usefull but ya know, relics are useless themself more than gold at a certin point, so beter than th 2g for these boxes.. nonetheless would have ben grat to give us that sorting facilitation!

2 one handed when swapped for a 2 handed is strange, one will go to the protected box and 1 will go to the first empty slot. Don’t really think it is too much or a hardship though. Calling it useless is not very helpful.
well i made a p.s. for that reason, is not useless, but if the intended was to work only wit drops well it is indeed! while ofc the lesserquality may have a motivation to exist better lol.

nah is not filled, i have it on a warrior, and often i find myself swapping Axe/WH to rifle, an i do it from “H” tab, as i put n my rifle they bot go to the first available slot in my inventory.
the issue is not consistent and honestly i never really tested it scientifically, but my gf with /on a guardian) is experiencing te same.
An impression i had is that this happens more with dungon weapons, far less frequently wih armors, but can simply be that i swap armors from inv by doule clck while weapon from ero tab, since double click will swap the first set only.
Same stuff is when i"dag out" a pice from the h tab, goes into the first slot availbale..
a dev post about supposed behavior would be nice, but i won’t hold ma breath!

recently jumped into fotm, and first thing i noticed was “omg 20 slot box for so cheap? and it even tidy up your inv 4 u? how cool!”
since i already bouht all the inv expansion on my main, and i carry 2 differet sets of gear
and all the usable weapons, i decided to buy the exotic one, so if i unequip a weapon or a armor pice (exo ofc!!) it will go directly to the correct container wich is placed last in the slots, so will fill for last if any space is available.
i even bought a rare one so whe i do world bosses i chains, all he rares goes there.
you can’t imagine the disapointment when i noticed that it was working indeed, but only if you pick up the item from a mob.
I mean you have a brilliant idea which will just make our life simplier, and u cripple it thisway?

i never had a ticket, before this time, had one after opening like 100 or 200 top of regular boxes, and i useless to me.
i never even tried b4 to gt one badly, in southsun drop were so rare that i ust openedd the two boxes i casually found.
there is no need for them to be specific to a set of wepons, imho should be u get a ticket and can buy any weapons you want from ticket vendor.
even if this will be just a bit less painfull, nt perfect.
