Create a new guild. You can still have the same tag, if all the active members of your guild join your new one, you will also find out who is actively playing still.

It’’s a hard lesson but one that you won’t make again. In the new guild make sure you edit the leader title rather than making a fresh one.

Ah okay thank you for explaining that. I never transmuted because I thought it was a one time deal. Now I know … ohh the possibilities!

So I’m confused. I’ve never transmuted anything so I’m not sure how it all works, but if you transmute it to a low level (white or blue) set of armor – wont that make it white or blue level? Are you able to transmute again or is it a one time deal?

Sadly, I can’t play the game 24/7, due to work, life etc. There are times though while ast work (lunch for example) where I would love to be able to buy and sell on the trading post, without having to be in the game.

Can we have that? Some sort of additional fee (tied to your in game character) to allow for buying and selling on the trading post, outside of the game?

Further to that, an iOS/Android app to do this would be amazing as well. Or even an app that lets you follow how your investments are going.

Blackgate is always busy. Lions Arch is always on overflow and map chat is constantly full of people talking. Orr events are always well populated. Low level areas – not so much, unless you are leveling an alt or doing key runs. OP might be time to change server

Bubbles burst in any stock market. All it takes is a shock. The artificially high prices of precursors is rapidly approaching a point where a shock is needed or the unabated growth in price due to increased rarity will effectively end people’s ability and consequently their desire to make legendary weapons.

Scarcity is good, a complete unavailability is not.

Watching is fine, but it reminds me of the quote “Evil prevails when good men fail to act.” At some point watching won’t be enough. Action will be necessary.

I think that leads to a larger issue. The three choices; dignified, brutal and charismatic, ultimately mean nothing. They add nothing to your character and add nothing to Trahearne’s story. They seem to either be filler for the sake of having something at the character creation screen, or were forgotten when it came time to include them in the game.

If they followed (as an example) the Mass Effect system where your choices reflected if you become “good” or “bad”, with suitable alteration to your character then sure, but as it stands the system; and as a consequence the verbal choices that reflect those choices are meaningless.

It all still comes down to, see enemy, kill enemy, eventually mash button 2 to kill Zhaitan, game over.

Oh and edited to say, I wish we could become “evil”, join the inquisition or the flame legion or whatever. Then the choices mentioned in this thread might mean something

Yep why not make everyone equal. All skills and traits absolutely identical to each other. That’ll make it “fair” right?

Of course if they do that, then why have different builds/classes/races? I mean everything is the same so let’s just streamline it all. Remove all races except for race X. Now get rid of all the classes because they are all the same now anyway. Let’s just have one race with one skill set and everybody is now the same.

Hang on, armor comes in to it. Can’t have any differences there – we’re aiming for mediocrity and uniformity after all. So gender should be removed allowing for identical armor. In fact, lets just make one type of armor too.

Okay now we have one profession on one race with one gender, all with the same armor, same skill sets, same traits and same weapons. Now no one can complain about profession X being glass canon or profession Y being over powered. Everything is the same vanilla build.

Sure it ruins the fun and make it a boring and tedious thing to play. All enjoyment and ability to learn how to play the various skills/traits/weapons will be gone but at least the complaints about over powered this or glass canon that will be gone from the forum.

So Knight armor set with a rune or something to give increased vitality?

I was looking at the asset kit, where in the wiki it says:

I play my character all over the place. The chest was missing, so something went wrong

Yes because he is not manipulating anything. Everything on the TP is handed by a website anyway, so he is just connecting to that to read the relevant data.

It could be argued that 99% of the time, killing a champion or legendary results in green (if you are lucky) or blue drops. If the big bad is so big and bad that they get the champion or legendary tag, can the rewards be modified to reflect that?

As it is, what is the point in trying to down a champion if the rewards are just as good as a normal level bad guy?

Can I suggest that all legendary characters either drop green or gold items only. No blues, ever. Sure the odds will be swayed more to green than gold but at the very least you wont be getting blues.

From that can champions drop gold or yellows only? If you put in the effort to take down a champion, apparently the very best of that particular skill group, the rewards need to be, at a minimum, gold level, with the chance of an exotic.

Sure, people will begin to farm champions and it may alter the trading post a little, but it will even out and if you reduce the spawn rate of champions it won’t be a case of people permanently parked at the one spot to mass nuke a champ.

Dragons are on timers. Why can’t champions be as well?

Oh. Speaking of dragons. Minimum level rewards from chest should be gold. No blues or greens ever.

You are using a script to do something for you instead of having you do it yourself. How is that different to having a script run to farm mats? Botting is botting

So you want them to do absolutely everything instantly? Do you know how projects work? You have finite resource (people) to work on something. They have been scheduled in to work on that. Once done they move on to the next issue at hand. Change requests (when things go wrong) need to be accounted for, and the project manager/ lead needs to determine what resources will be needed to action the change, what the time frame will be and how that will potentially impact on other, previously scheduled tasks the team were to be working on. Bug fixes, are the same. Scheduling, time allocation, etc all need to be taken into account.

It’s not like they have people sitting around twiddling thumbs just waiting for something to happen so they can instantly jump on it. Everyone there will have a job to do and if proper project management is done, they need to finish that job before they can move on to the next task.

Sure there are times when a serious issue happens (servers crash etc), then you have steps in place to deal with that. Task prioritization is adjusted and resources are shuffled. That is what risk assessment is about. You determine the risk of every project you do and you devise methods to mitigate risk and enable contingency plans in the event of a serious threat (server down is a threat).

So, yes they know things are bugged and no doubt have them on their “to-do” list. That doesn’t mean they will action it immediately. Projects take work and time. Everything is costed out (both financially and in terms or resources). Something that is a bug that doesn’t have a huge impact across the board to a lot of players will always get a lower priority that something that does impact game play in a serious way.

They will get to the bug fix when they are able to.

In terms of game play there isn’t a huge change. But it’s still fun. They are adding more content at the moment.

Stuff will come over time. You have to remember the game is still new. The original GW was nothing like the GW of now. Many of the items you bought in GW, that were hot items or must haves didn’t exist early on. As time goes on, they will add and refine the items they have available. You may not want anything now, but I would guess that will change in time.

Buy gems and then sit on them for a while. Something will eventually come up and you will have the ability to buy them right away. I sat on gems for a while then the sales happened, I was able to buy some mini pets at cheaper than normal as a result. I also converted some to gold to help a guild member out when he was low on finds.

$100 will give you 8000 gems. Then you can wait and watch

Rit’s weren’t in Prophecies, they were added later. Chances are when new area’s open up (Elona for example) there will be new professions to go with it

Question though – why do I have to use a 3rd party web site to find a group? Why doesn’t that happen in game? I run the game in full screen, having to go back and forth between the game and a web site is not fun.

I’ve done 3 dungeons and each one took well over 90 minutes to do. Clearly I am taking the long scenic route. One gold per dungeon? As I said, the rewards don’t appear to be any better than PvE. You can make a gold easily just killing random animals and collecting their fur or whatever they drop

Perhaps not for you but for me it is. I have tried 4 times to get in and not once was I able to due to having never done it. By try I don’t mean a quick “hey I need to go in”, I mean waiting for an hour each time.
