So let’s discuss enemy colours in WvW.
Currently the enemies are coloured either red, blue or green depending on what server colours are allocated. Enemies personal dyes are not shown.
What do people think?
So as far as I know, skills such as blink (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Blink), Judge’s Intervention (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Judge%27s_Intervention) and merciful intervention (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Merciful_Intervention) use the teleport mechanic, which is different to the shadow step mechanic, in that with teleport you can get to places that you wouldn’t be able to walk to in a straight line, or would need to jump to get there (or you can get to ledges which would normally require you to walk around).
Sometimes this works for me, I am able to teleport to enemies on ledges, or on different platforms. But most of the time in these scenarios the skill fails to teleport me to the enemy player, even if it’s accessible by walking (such as a bridge).
In the beta when I was using blink as a mesmer, I was unable to blink to places such as large tree stump, or a stone wall. Sometimes this worked, sometimes it doesn’t.
The wiki says "Unlike teleportation, you can only shadowstep to areas normally accessible in a straight line without jumping. Trying to shadowstep up or through obstacles or across gaps will cause you to shadowstep to the edge. " so either the mechanic is bugged, or the description is wrong, and shadowstep and teleport use the same mechanic.
Hi
I thought I’d make a new topic because this isn’t exactly an fps drop as such.
When I enter a new area, or move to a new place, and spin the camera around to look at everything, there is an annoying delay, and the frame rate because very choppy, as if it’s 0.5 fps or something, and it takes a second or 2 to get all the way round.
A similar thing happens if I press the “look behind” button. There is about a 1 second delay before it loads.
I asked if anyone else experiences this problem, and I can’t find many who do.
My setup is:
Intel i5 2500k @ 3.3ghz
Nvidia geforce 560ti on the 304.79 beta drivers @stock speed 900mhz
8gb ram
And I’m playing on max setting except shadows which is on high, rendering at native resolution, FXAA is off, vsync is off, and depth blur is off. Resolution is 1080p, fps limit is 60. I have the same problem on the lowest possible settings (the problem is less severe though).
Anyone else get this?
