This skill used to be instant ticking and changed to 1 sec delay hit. This might be some balance issue or something whatever i dont know.
We already have almost all skills delayed on staff. It would really to have some realibe skills on staff and this might be instant ticking Lava Font like before.
Meh %10 treshold is nothing compared to Ele health. First i was excited about it, then i tried it and meh. It is still not good for a grandmaster.
I could prefer like “Blocks next 5 condition every 20sec” etc.

0.5 Mbit is enough for WvW. I never get more than 400Kbit/s download speed during heaviest fights.
Think some kind of abuse-safe priority to commanders to login back without Q or being firstplace in Queue.
So when the ranks become account bound. Say my total rank is 400. does that mean I have 400 points to put into each character, or does it mean I have 400 points to split between all my characters.
It means that you have 400 points for each character and can spend them however you want on each.

the players who have alts is going to get 5 easy ranks for each alt. as a player who doesnt have any alts i want a 10 rank boost scrool. thank you
When i first thought Acc bound WXP rank, this was my little concern about it but;
If you have carefully read, they wont add up ranks, they wil add wxp. So if you have 2 level 5 char, it will not make total 10.It will exactly make 6 ranks total. First 4 rank is equal to 1 after-5-rank

The trailer so was created really long time ago. Maybe this is the reason.
On rare occasions, you get infinite dodge roll bug. When this happens, you dont consume any endurance when you dodge. At the same time you cannot use any skill.
This has started to occur vert recently both me and my teammates. Usually happens in WvW but it happened me once in fractals.
This last sometimes a few mins sometimes you need to relog. Since it disables your skills i can say this is something balanced
/Well i just noticed that this was wrong section.
All of Staff auto attacks are so boring and underwhelming. I could eqip guardian staff 1 instead of my any elite skill.
As a hardcore WvWer, I just am amazed by the lagless encounters after patch. You guys achieved an amazing success.
My feedback will be as following;
I and my friends have noticed more rubberbanding as before. Thus let me think you guys lowered the frequency on location repoting between server and client. This is something i couldnt not careless. Just leaving a little feedback here.

I’m getting more and more lost in the minimap in every update.
When i first saw this kill in BWE i was amazed and after i used it i was a blast for me. It was the reason why i picked the Elementalist. Since then, the skill has nerfed about 5-6 times. After every nerf, i told myself “Ok man, this is still OK dont give up”. But i really gave up for the current situation.
I dont even pick and change to X/D anymore to close gaps with RTL while WvWing. I mean I cant even bother manual weapon change for that CD and lowered distance. Loyal DD users are also suffering from extremely unreliable implementation. You probably seeing that half of the posts here are about RTL and it is a reasonable complaint. Just reconsider this skill with all aspects and give some comment for all loyal ele’s for this.

Ele is by far best for PvE but as said, no1 complains about pve.
If you give some insta hitting staff skills, that would be great.
You can move faster by dodging if you are in combat or slowed.

Summary of GW2 dungeons.
After you talk first npc(near repair) and opened the first gate, just turn your camera to the center and a bit upper. Or just stay at the door and look the a bit right upper.
The fps is being killed 60 to 15. It stays at low fps if you keep looking. There must be some extreme objects in there.

RTL:Stun break, remove immobilize 25sec CD. That’s what it needs.

I’m having problems with Ranger hints. After about 1 year i want to farm some achievemnt. When i check the hint achievemnt, i saw that i’m only missing the Ranger ones. So i created a toon and finished Tutorial. Then i hanged about 1h but i couldnt make any hint pop. So any suggestions so i can finish those?
Just look how Aion’s instances are awesome. You need to be carefull to pull mobs and watch out their skills.
This comes from someone who actively pvp’ed (read solo roaming) on aion, was in the first raid that successfully killed padmarshka @NA/EU and did everything PvE based to get my god kitten PvP gear… Aion PvE sucked, big time. GW2 is much better unless you think spending 1hour in the same dungeon pulling the same mobs is fun, bosses are always an item check and there are very few mechanics that doesn’t rely on item grade and choice (i.e the jumping thing on TSH). So… yeah, maybe you should stick to aion?
PvE is sucked yes and maybe dungeons were long but im talking more about mechanics and art. The art of structures and art of the mobs, the mechanics of bosses even single mobs, it looks more professional than gw2 for me. Just imagine the BT, individual places and bosses. This is ofc personal opinion after 3 years of Aion. However it is the only thing for me that seems a plus. The rest is not succesfull and it is going down after changing hands.
Sigh If there are no skill changes at least for some classes it is a pity.
Why not take the time to actually READ the proposed changes and if you have comments bout the changes give them there
I ve been reading the post since it posted. That’s why i’m not convinced about the changes.
I will be honest. GW2 is pure awesomeness for me but the dungeons…Oh man. Randomly placed mobs and prooly designed bosses and mobs nothing challenging. Just look how Aion’s instances are awesome. You need to be carefull to pull mobs and watch out their skills. Every boss has at least 4 interesting phases and more than few bosses per instance.
Sigh If there are no skill changes at least for some classes it is a pity.

First off, thanks guys for sharing the preview; always tough to showcase an unfinished product that is still yet to even enter officially into beta. The terrain looked amazing and I think it would be really fun to mess around with (good balance of tight quarters and open space!). The resource nodes look great and even the PvE aspects/secondary mechanics sounds pretty interesting.
However, I still have some concerns and in particular there was 1 glaring thing that stood out here, which was, play with your friends.
Basically, the way it works currently is; you pull up the WvW map interface and simply queue up using the Edge of the Mists option. You are then placed into the next available spot in an Edge map. The dev’s didn’t spell it out, but it sounded like you could join on each other’s Edge instance (again unconfirmed). Nonetheless, this is a huge issue. We need to be able to easily play with our friends in WvW, that is something that I thought would ideally be resolved by having a ‘no-queue’ map system. Please, develop this. Having to trick the system to allowing us to play with our friends by queue’ing up, joining on each other’s instances, dropping groups, shifting players around, etc, is going to lead to dead population. We need systems that automatically put us with the people we want to be with when we play.
Another issue that was not touched on was the max players allowed per map; seems like a lot of space and thus this is really shifting towards looking like a 24-7 karma train map. I really hope steps are taken to combat this.
Normally you are able to join your friend’s overflow. I think it will work the same way for this map.
Dont forget this map will get changes with people’s feedbacks.
As elementalist, i would definetely, certainly take a utility instead of elite.

I’m close to sure they have to do this. It fits 100% of the GW2 concept and the whole process done so far. Actually the guy who came up with the idea that it should be char bound should be fired or watered or maybe arcaned.
Pretty sad all the post are derailed with the queue being broken. Everybody knows it and Everybody should know they will patch it with next Map update. Stop derailing.

The point I’m trying to get across is that it is once again going to be very exciting to play Ele come this patch. It’s much more effective and there’s a lot more options for players. We will also continue to work hard for you guys in continuing this trend across all game mode. If it were easy or even possible to perfectly balance a game for everyone across 3 different game modes with the systems we have we would be doing so I can assure you.
Here are some quick ungrammatically correct thoughts:
To address the other player regarding his comments stressing the importance of making unappealing trait lines better; Burning fire and Diamond Skin are steps in the right direction. It’s a big patch and we are doing a lot of things for each class. We only have a certain amount of time to make changes and it shouldn’t give you the impression that these are the only things we want to do.
Burning fire will allow you to invest offensively in fire and get some defense capability that you lose if you opt points out of water/arcane. This will likely be more useful to PvPer’s rather than PvE’rs, however, PvErs already find it innately easier to take points in fire since kiting mobs is more easily done as compared to kiting players in PvP.
I think you’ll find Diamond skin will give you more freedom than you think as well. We’ve considered bringing Diamond Skin to 85% but we worry it would be too much. It definitely gives you some freedom of mobility as well as much needed negation of condi dumps on inc. This trait will help lower the risk of swapping attunements too early as well. Surely this trait scales in effectiveness with your HP and ele does have the lowest health pool however, I wouldn’t say all ele’s have 12k health pools. Your typical support elementalist with 30 points in water in PvE have around 16-19k HP and some elementalists can get their hp up to 22k. This will let you take around a 1600-2200 hit before conditions are applied. Sure thats a common hit to take in PvE but it’ll most likely have its strenth in safeguarding you in the encounters that have immobilize spam. This trait will help you negate those immobilizes and give you the opportunity to use your cleanses and heals on teammates much easier. In PvP I’m fairly certain only cleric amulet elementalists are looking at 12k hp builds. The majority of builds that are played are actually 14k+ builds. Regardless, it’s a trait that is now way better than it used to be.
Any chance for Diamond Skin to work against retallation? I mean also prevent retal dmg when above treshold.
