I like them all. My two favorites currently are thief and necro, with guardian coming in third.

Happened to me twice today.

We need reasonbly priced gems. They’re more than double of what they were a year ago.

I’ve seen it switch from tier 2 with most of the bar filled in, to an empty tier 1 bar, then it went back to tier 2 with 30% of the bar filled in.

I can’t jump worth a darn, but I didn’t find this difficult. The optional jumping parts I have problems with, but for the storyline, no problem.

Is it okay If I just play my warrior and ranger from now on? Or do I HAVE to gear my other classes as well? I can be good with all classes but the others are just not fun to me at all. So is it okay if I just play warr and ranger?

Play what you want. I’ve been playing thief for the past couple of months and haven’t even touch any of my other alts (I have one of each profession). Having too much fun with the thief.

Once the “error” happens, you have to wait about 5 seconds before selling or listing the next item.

That’s true. It’s been happening for at least 9 months.

Game Crashes While Fighting a Champion Karka. Getting back in, I’m no longer, different server. I’m tired of this happening over and over and over and over and over. Doesn’t crash any other time. Only while fighting champions with large crowds.

After over an hour doing the boss blitz, the rewards were about a half-dozen greens, a few tickets and that’s it. A complete failure of a reward.

When I’m leveling, I do all the 1-15 areas first, completing them, then complete all the cities, upgrade gear to level 15, then do the next areas (15-25? whatever they are), upgrading gear at every level (20, 30, 40, 50, etc.). I often go back to the 1-15 zones to do dailies.

Engineer has bombs and grenades.

8 80’s, zero 100% map completion.

Group went through a portal, and all were split into different instances, with no way to get back together. Machor’s Leap to Cursed Shore.

Glad it’s not just me.

I disabled google+ on my phone because it was draining my battery.

The only method I’ve found to work is to log out to character selection and re-enter the map.

At times, weapons and skills will not work. Click on them, nothing happens. Yet damage can be taken.

The only fix is to log out and back in.

With today’s patch, “Exit to Desktop” at one point grays out the screen, and hangs there, with the music playing. It takes pulling up the task manger to kill it.

Tried to send mail to a player, got the name wrong three times in a row. Then got it right, but get the message “Your message was suppressed due to excessive messaging.”

Mine aren’t even blinking, they just don’t work!

For instance, Cluster Bomb does nothing, trick shot does nothing, heart seeker does nothing. I can click on them, but nothing happens.

It’s like I’m being disconnected, but I don’t get disconnected. I can interact with vendors, I can be attacked, but I cannot attack back!

It took going to the character select screen and coming back in to fix it.

I was an SWTOR player, had several alts at level 50 (at the time, that was the top level) when I started playing GW2 back when GW2 came out. SWTOR was my first MMO.

I found GW2 so enjoyable, I only played SWTOR 3 or 4 times, eventually cancelled my subscription. It’s still on my computer in case I ever feel the need to go back. Sure I missing swinging a light sabre, but I don’t miss having only one heal (not counting stims).

I’ve never played WoW, so I can’t comment on the differences.

Do I miss being a sith lord? Sometimes, but not enough to pull me back to SWTOR. I enjoy GW2 so much more.

So be forwarned, you may not go back.

This usually happens to me just before I get disconnected. The chat window continues to work though.

I’m running a guardian with hammer/sword. There have been several times recently when I can’t switch from the hammer to the sword. The switch arrows are grayed out as well.

When I’m leveling up a new alt:

1 – do home area first (Human, Queensdale; Sylvari, Caledon Forrest…)
2- do home city
3- do another races first area, city, repeat until all first area/cities are done.
4 – do second areas
5 – do next level areas, repeat until level 80, then explore everything else.
While doing the above, occasionally do the story line. Lion’s Arch can go in there somewhere too.

Could have been. I remember the old Orr. It was fun back then.

I’m always selling mats and items on TP — 99% of those items go for a few silver each.. and it all adds up pretty quickly. That is just currently what I’m doing right now.

Pretty much what I’m doing too.

Therein lies the problem. With no one there, (SOD for instance), there are a few spots that cannot be completed.

The biggest problem I see in Orr isn’t the massive number of risen, but with the practical non-existence of players. In SOD last night, there were, as far as I could find, 3 people.

Why is there hardly anyone in Orr any longer? It’s like a ghost town.

In my opinion.

4.) I can’t place targeted attacks while using the right mouse button to move.
I do not use the “A” and “D” keys to rotate (does anyone?). I have to interrupt movement to place targeted attacks because when the right mouse button is held, any input from the left mouse button is taken as the “run when both mouse buttons are held” input.

3. Not only they some spawn too quickly, sometimes they spawn before they’re dead, and you have two of them to battle.

4. Remap. I made A and D strafe, Q and E rotate.

7 level 80’s. One of each except for a thief, and when I get up enough gold, I’ll start a thief. My main, right now, is an engineer.

AC is no longer doable. With the gravelings constantly doing knockdowns, it is impossible to do anything.

For level 80 items, you need a transmutation crystal. Could that be your problem?

I prefer necro over guardian simply because I like sucking the life out of enemies.

I think it comes down to do you like jumping puzzles. If yes, human, otherwise Norn.

…masters of magic… brings back great memories. Loved that game. Still have the CD somewhere around here.

I would like to see some more of the world opened up. More exploring!

The problem is, I have fun with all of them (I don’t have a thief yet). I really don’t have a favorite. For the longest time, my warrior was my least favorite, but now with some exotic gear, it has become fun. Same thing for the necromancer. I have a blast (no pun intended) with the engineer… that’s the one I used in the nightmare tower.

I think the most balanced for healing and fighting is the guardian. The most dps I get is from the warrior. The best ranged is the ele, with the ranger coming in a close second. The others have their own unique styles that are fun.

I was wondering the same thing when I read about that yesterday.

I played GW1 for a week when it came out. Got GW2 when it came out and play it most of the time. I’ve re-installed GW1, but I’m finding it quite frustrating.

Still have my mini pet griffon from last years Wintersday.

Yes. It says it’s charging (whatever the text is), but it only did one, and I still have a near full stack of uncharged quartz.

When using a knock back (e.g., Stomp), when the target gets up, it is instantly next to me. If it’s down and I try something like a Rush, the target is where I was, while I end up where it was, completely missing.

This is happening on all maps, withany profession that has knock backs, since late October/early November.

I haven’t finished PS, and I have 7 lvl 80’s.

Why only one waypoint in the tower. Get to the third level, die and you have to start all over.

I’m seeing this in multiple maps: Kill an enemy, and it immediately respawns.
